@SeanDollwet Not exactly this but yesterday I noticed that a book that should make $1.80 each sold 8 copies and showed $1.56 total for all 8! And their customer service was useless and dismissive.
It’s worrying that we can’t seem to trust Amazon’s numbers anymore.

This is exactly what is happening to me and that is exactly what the support agent told me as well... he said "don't look at the campaign clicks.. look at the billing invoice instead, because there is a delay.."
The invoice was charging me for 58 clicks, but the campaign only shows 2 clicks... it's been 3 weeks.. and it still only shows 2 clicks.. so how bad is this "delay" ??
It's always a good idea to audit your campaigns on a regular basis. From time to time, I've had to point out that I was charged for keywords I've put into the negative targeting. Or, sometimes keywords that I can't even suppress through negative targeting.
Keep on them when something is off. So glad this author go on top of it, but sorry to hear it's killing any momentum they had.
Quick question Dale... do you use broad match in any of your campaigns? I have not, since I started new campaigns... but slow going
This has been happening to me for the last two months. For the first month, the ad spend was around $31, but suddenly, I saw a failed transaction of approximately $48. The second time was similar, but the difference was between $20 and $30. I didn't raise any concerns because the difference wasn't significant. However, upon watching this video, I realized that it wasn't just me experiencing this issue. I suggest that everyone should check their ad spend and compare it to the actual charges.

Amazon support stated that I have some ads serving off Amazon website.
Ads serving off Amazon wouldn't appear in the campaign manager, on ads serving within Amazon pages will appear in the campaign manager but the total of the two will appear in the Accumulated charges.

Yea I found it weird how I had a budget and I get over charged.. I found it weird but I stop running ads until I figure out a strong case to send because it was really weird. Thanks for spreading awareness because I thought it was me since I’m new at ads and I felt like I didn’t understand but I DO UNDERSTAND
I wouldn't be surprised; I lost money with them in the associate's program. My larger sales would always be "returned;" it got to the point that I just expected it.

How is this a "communication issue" when they straight away scammed this guy? The platform itself yeeted the clicks and said there we go +$100. This is some serious shit here... All KDP content creators should talk about it
I hate to sound like a complete noob, but I am.
I've been spending a good amount on ads, and am continually frustrated with how unclear the interface is.
It would be immensely helpful to see a walkthrough of how to assess the clicks versus billing on the actual KDP ads interface.
Screenshots are useful but not entirely understandable in how that information is extracted from all of the information that is there in the ads interface.

go and watch videos on how to understand the Amazon Ads interface. i believe Sean has a video about it and you can also chech out a video on selfpublishingtitans channel here on UA-cam about amazon Ads. i believe that will help.
the biggest problem is that amazon's support is completely crap, you can write, call, I'd rather communicate with my dog than with them. They have no idea what they are doing, all they can do is send you to another department.
Looks like you can only go back 90 days to pull your campaign information from the manager. But at least I wasn't overcharged.

My US ads panel has been refusing to display data for almost a week now and keeps crashing
Maybe instead of us waiting for amazon to fix there marketing(but not really because they want to make money off us and we probably arent going to get together and sue amazon in a multi million dollar class action lawsuit, but would be wise to do so.)
Could you possibly give us a video on some other platforms to market with?(unless I missed that video)

I am gonna double check all my bills now. I have had problems where I will set a daily limit to say $5 and they will somehow charge me more per day. Not sure how that is possible? I assume same type of issue here
