- Todays video is an accommodation tour of one of the university of Manchester's halls of residences, Whitworth Park. Whitworth Park is located in the city campus and is roughly a 5 minute walk to the university's campus. Feel free to ask any questions in the comment section and I'll try my best to answer!

Hey Pim! Thank you for doing a tour around the accomodation, great video. I'm an international student planning on studying at the University of Manchester next semester, so it was very helpful to get exposed to Whitworth before getting there.
do you happen to know the sizing of the beds?
lived there like 28 years ago and seems similar. Very convenient and very near to Rushome {?). Used to be able to hear cheering from Manchester City fans from their former Maine Road ground.

Lived there 28 years ago...we had a girls flat and our showers emergency escape door gave onto the boys kitchen 😂😂😂

Which house is this...as whitworth park has many houses which one is this?
Hi Pim! I suppose there are several floors inside the flats right? I am being offered a room on 4th floor, I’m unsure if that’s gonna be my room or the flat?
hello, each building does have several floors. For instance, this flat in particular had 2 bedrooms on the top floor and the rest were located below. It ultimately depends on the layout of the building you were allocated.

2. Can we choose our roommate/flatmate? I'm considering to apply this accomodation with my friends and it will be great if we can share the same flat.

Hiii, the men and women's flats are mixed and unfortunately you are randomly allocated rooms. However, once you arrive you may be able to request a room/flat change.
@@pimbdhi! Is it easy to change accommodation? Like how long would it take to be offered another room and move in? And then do you also get a random room as usual even if it's not your choice?
@ hey! It’s definitely possible to change rooms but it’s not guaranteed whether you’ll get the room you’ve asked for depends on how much demand there is, but I’ve seen people successfully change

There’s cleaners that come in once a week
Awful accommodation lol the rooms are prison cells and there’s a dozen maintenance issues
