Get a Syntakt, if you want. I don't care. I think it's fun.

This groove tickles my brain, it sounds like sunshine and optimism. So, sooo good. Brain quiet, no thoughts, only dance.
took me 2 hours to follow but I made it pretty close to what you made here.. thanks for the super educational video.
Wonderful. I told myself "no new gear until I max out the Syntakt!" - Figure I'll save a lot of money the next few years. ;-)
The pitch up transition at the start of the jam at the end of the video is a really nice move on this.
I am late to the party but this machine with VCV rack (or any CV to midi) can do so reeeeeally weird stuff!!
Amazing video, as always!
I love this style of video! It's a great exploration without too much technicals (though those are good for their own videos, too!) and results in a funky bear to listen to through to the end!
This one had me dancing, thanks Jeremy!
Really love this one, such a great groove 🌟 Loved this series, thanks for doing it!
I love watching these come together! The results are always amazing, I’m such a fan!!
Day been a strange day for my brain. Woke up late from a strange dream. Concentration well was empty at end of work. Fell asleep with you playing it out. Had another strange dream. Part of it was Alan Turing playing an electric wind instrument the size of a double bass making dope tones.
Wierd day for brain
Your videos are always so impressive. I too am obsessed with tonals and rhythm. You take this to a whole new domain. I definitely want a Syntakt just for these groove potentiality!! 😮🎉❤
Waiting for a September schedule, so I can start having lessons with you. Great video!
You really reinforce for me that the Syntakt is a great all-in-one instrument for making songs. My most productive time making *finished* songs has been using an all-in-one.
Great job! Loving this bouncing vibe.
Very fun tune 👌. Syntakt is just pure fun. Easily my favourite machine ever. So versatile but has some limits which means you have to get creative with it. Paired with a Digitone it's basically a delight. Pretty much played with my Syntakt daily since it launched. I want to be on it now but I need to go to bed 🤣
Reminds me a little of LCD Soundsystem - i love it
Loved this series, looking forward to the next!
Have really enjoyed this series. Hope you'll do more later.
This entire jam sold me on the Syntakt. So. Damn. Good.
The more I watch Syntakt videos the more I notice everyone essentially becomes orchestral composers with it. haha. Hear me out! Just imagine each track being someone on stage with their horn or something. Writing music that's for 11 piece viola, cello, and horn ensembles and such. String ensembles and horns makes full chords and chordal movements with each instrument building up the chord of the phrase, just like we do with the Syntakt tracks. With the Syntakt, the easiest way to use it, just like here, is to just builds layers on top of layers on top of layers on top of layers with all these monophonic tracks, each doing something unique, but blending together. In the end everything sounds so... Full of emotion and movement. Even this performance, while simple and bouncy, each track, no matter how simple the notes and movement is, adds a new timbre, a new emotion, a new piece, when it's built on top of everything else.
People have mentioned that the Syntakt is good for ambient/drone due to that. The rich layering with all the tracks and sounds on each individual track. Hell you could do a 12 note drone chord will VASTLY different sounds for each note using all tracks.... hmm...brb... I really think if we could get some solid strings and brass sounds coming out of these, you could truly do a full 8 to 11 piece orchestral set with it, haha.
Damn you Jeremy - now I want a Syntakt even more than I already did!
Hopefully Elektron add some more digital engines in future firmware updates, to further expand the tonal palette.
Love that OSC Glide. Makes me happy! Thank you.
You had me at "I told you, we're getting weird."
love the vibe🔥
This made me go from meh to YEH! What a great demo, had me bopping.
Package this beat up and get it out there so I stream it, it'd turn any drive to anywhere into a happy one.
Nice … this has led me to kickstart a track on the model:cycles using new techniques
I really want to use it on its own in a jam some time soon. I love its sounds despite what some might say. It gives me video game vibes which I adore.
i) Love the vibe. I just can't help liking most things you do Jeremy. I'm suspecting you did influence my taste in electronic music a lot in the last years. hehe
ii) Syntakt engine just sounds so much like a Cycles with filters it's crazy hehe. Got me into jamming with Cycles slaved to Digitone. after work. 10 Tracks, 14 Voices, same sound. (;
iii) Excellent choice of charity to support! So sorry the US is slipping towards religious fundamentalism. It's scary to watch from the outside.
Cheers!
Wow, this was my most favorite how to vid🤗👌🥳
Great soundtrack for Slippy Toad from Star Fox btw
I loved this so much!!!
One of the best musicians on the choob. my fave kinda rhythms too. You like UKG? I reckon you should give it a try.
Love how your brain sounds like! ☺
Nice one!! ❣️
Great beat 🔥❤️🔥
Great tune. reminded me of akufen
I need to listen this at least on soundcloud!
frkn awesome stuff
Great as always :D
So good! Metronome was on the whole time?
Super cool
Don't get me wrong. But I am tempted to say... YOU ARE A GEAR JUNKIE... LOL³ You know I love your productions... and you know how to use your tools for art. I remember back in Schneider viccinity someone tried to impress me with his modular rig... 'THAT RIG COSTS 20K€'... And I just thought from the output... I wouldn't pay twenty cent for that!!!
it has a little Underworld vibe
Syntakt go
m e o w
Great vibes as per usual :catJAM:
The Syntakt seems like the Model:Cycles Pro..
Thanks!
Fun is good.
I could sound even more consistently familiar if attached to a microcosm.
hey nice video! what kind of genre of music is this ?
Club Jeremy
Techno Charleston
Love it (end result and process). But what does “micro house” and “keep it small” mean ? Just a reference to short decay ?
Aha… just googled micro house
5:40 mark is groovy 😎
3:41
yes! this is so sick
Music that makes me happy!
such a good little 🥚
More cowbell 🤪
2:50 is the money bro.. i think you messed it and made it big room. if only kept that random trigs and built a minimal beat after would be straight fire
This is fun as fuck
What did you do to the first beat to make it oscillate like that? Track 9.
The engine pairs two oscillators against each other so it's inherent to the sound
@@RedMeansRecording exclusive to the syntakt? Or can Digitakt or Digitone do this?
For a drum machine, do you think the syntakt is better than the Roland TR8s?
Only if you don't want access to classic Roland sounds
please please please pleaseeee could you make a series of videos using the Organelle M on its default settings? the op1 series helped me immensely and I feel like critter and guitar are even more lackluster in explaining thoroughly all the features on the organelle than teenage engineering ever were for the op1. it would make my year seriously!!!!
OSOM
This is a great little groove box but it is overpriced for its feature set. And a lot of tracks all sound the same.
Hey Jeremy- love your videos man- your creativity is endless.
If you had to choose just one between the digitakt, tone, and syn what would you grab? I’m extremely torn lol
Syntakt is effortlessly malleable, but only as far as the engines go. It's really hard to choose.
