    The reason I'm watching this video is I helped a guy with the wiring of his shop, and I somewhat enjoyed wiring up all the electrical outlets. What I didn't like though was not having a map of the circuits and constantly trying to figure out where each wire went and what circuit it was on. I get confused with really complex problems so the problem-solving part of this job might be difficult for me. Does anyone with experience have any thoughts on how you can know if you want to be an an electrician?

Started wiring house's moved on to schools and hospitals, and retired working for a power co. here in Tn . It's alot safer then it use to be. We use to just wear rubber gloves with a leather glove over that. Now they have rubber gloves (high voltage) and sleeves for their arms not to mention all the rubber hoses and rubber blankets . Time's have changed and for the better.

      Plumbers are very, very essential. It’s all about demand. Plumbing is also very difficult at times dealing with waste, pipes, and such. I’m becoming an electrician due to my family having a business in such, but I would be a plumber if I was in a different circumstance.

    • @Kal-El207
      @Kal-El207 Рік тому +8

      Not true. I did plumbing. From what I learned plumbers make more money if they do the job their on plus the sale. Meaning if you were to replace someone’s water heater and you try to sell a tankless water heater as well as a new toilet or something, depending on the company, you can make a percentage off of what you sell. So all in all you can get paid your check and the percentage of the sale, again depending on the company. As for Electricians, you can make more off the bat whether you make a sale or not. Because electricians are extremely important and as essential as plumbers if not more in some cases, you can make bank without even trying. So no plumbers don’t make more. They need to work harder to do so, electricians just do it and see💰

    I really think I'm going to do this Electrician program this time. I managed to learn a few things in 4th grade but then later on went to Multimedia Technics. But The chances in succeeding in Multimedia Technics are so low because all these Higher programs and Universities have their expectations of what your creativity level should be. So I figured I had some basics that I might go back to and evolve from there. I really wish I'll have the right mindset to do clean and efficient work during and after this training course.
