0:38 wow, you can turn all 4 wheels while sitting still with no power steering. impressive. Here's a good video of a X354 mowing on a small lawn with lots of tight turns and obstacles. ua-cam.com/video/xikm8Sh6WC8/v-deo.html really shows the utility of that model.
Hi Jason. Could you answer this question please: For such versatile machine (and one that I really want to buy now, replacing E130 that I’ve had for 4 years) why not do a bigger decks on this? What’s the thinking there from JD? One reason I needed an upgrade is to reduce the time it presently takes with a 42”.
Hi Narita, thanks for watching the video! Jason says: "If you're looking for a bigger deck, you'll need to jump up to an X384." If you're looking to seriously save some time on your mow, you might even want to look into a zero turn. These models really are a time saver and have 54" decks available, too! Check out our Let's Go Mow video playlist to see these machines in action and we even time how long it takes for each model to mow. Hope this helps you out!
My x354 is getting a little squirrelly - is there an alignment procedure that should be done? Any parts in the steering mechanism that should be replaced?
Hi Jimmy, thanks for watching! Yes, you can have an alignment done on your lawn tractor, and it may need it! Without taking a look at it, we can't be sure if there are parts that need replacement. You can find some simple alignment procedures with a quick Google search. Let us know how it goes!
Hello John, We appreciate you watching! Jason says: "A lot of variables when it comes to snow. The X354 will do the task, it has a solid transmission and the extra maneuverability would certainly come in handy. I would recommend reaching out to your local dealer to get their input on your specific location, they will have valuable insight on which units work best in their specific region."
Thanks for watching Nan. There could be many reasons you're experiencing this issue.... we'd love to help you out. Feel free to give us a call at your nearest service department and talk through what might be going on here.

can the X354 use the quick oil change filter?
Yep you bet, just turn in your man card at the front desk before purchase. 👊
I started the x354 but when i press on forward or reversw it will not move. Why?
Hi Wayne, is your brake engaged? Thanks for watching!
I was curious about the transmission type/quality and if the four-whee steer had any bearing on being able to move snow....
