Pete, I’m a Brit who doesn’t have access to events like this. I must say, I laughed until I cried! Brilliant entertainment. I particularly loved watching the youngsters getting involved. Hopefully, they’ll keep the tradition going for many years to come. And by the way, that choir was REALLY good! Thanks for your videos this year. How I miss Ithaca! I was lucky enough to go to Ithaca College from 1976 to 1980 - some of the best years of my life! There is nothing quite like the ambiance of Ithaca and it's surrounding areas - the gorges, the waterfalls, the parks... a real paradise! So many students wished they could live there for good. I did work there one summer between classes - good times for sure! There's something to be said for a college town - lots of down-to-earth people! Thanks Pete!

My mother was from Cumberland Wisconsin, that town says they are the Rutabaga capital of the world! I like your festival better. Never was a fan of eating them but throwing them would be right up my alley!! The torch bearer was a nice touch.
