I know Ms. Woods has since passed on but I wanted to come back and pay my respects and show my appreciation for this woman. I felt super uneasy about taking my NMLS test this past Saturday. While driving I listened to several of Ms. Wood's videos and the way she broke everything down made it so simple and easy to remember it just clicked for me. I ended up passing just based on the fundamentals she gave me in that hour of listening to her videos. I honestly feel like if the 20 hr prelicensure course was taught the way she explains everything there would be more of a pass rate. Thank you and God rest her soul.

I just passed my exam yesterday. In just reading these comments I found out that Mrs Woods passed away. I was saddened by this. I wanted to pay my respects to her. I found this the last week of my study odor my mortgage exam. I thank her from the bottom of my heart. I passed my test yesterday and there were questions that her voice was in my ear as she explained things. Her legacy lives. Many blessings to the family and those running this company. Thank you ❤

Couple things: I don’t recall ever seeing an instructor with such control of her environment. She is a true pro. Secondly, her content is invaluable and helped me to pass the exam on the first try. May her memory be a blessing.

I failed the test the first 2 times because I paid for a bogus 20 hour course from else where and didn't really understand anything...I then started searching on youtube how to pass and this channel came up. She explained the content so well and I ended up purchasing her crash course. Their was different words on the test that I didn't understand the first 2 times I took it but artrisha goes over these words in her courses and even on some of the videos here on her youtube page...long story short after studying her crash course I finally passed! I know FORSURE I passed because of her content and I would highly recommend this to anyone looking to pass ! it is so worth the investment! My only regret is not taking the 20 hour course with her! I just found out today that Ms. Woods passed away- what a truly unfortunate event. I wanted to come and publicly share my thanks to her. I had to leave a comment at how grateful I am to Atricia Wood (RIP) and her team for putting these FREE videos together over the years. I passed my exam this morning with an 86%. I listened to these videos when I drove to and from work nearly every day. I can honestly say I would not have done as well had it not been for her straightforward approach to teaching and making difficult concepts seem easy. Study hard, watch all her videos multiple times and you'll do great.

Yeah, I did mortgage educators and it was an absolute drag.... Not to be mean or anything, but It was very hard to learn with David Luna just talking to the camera.. :( And, I hate the test prep. My 20hour and state are completed, but Im focusing on prepping at this point, and I'm in between going with compucram or oncourse... Not sure which test prep will give me the best material to study on... any pointers?
I am a Licensed Financial Advisor and I decided to get my mortgage license. I took an online course late January and passed the test with an 80% I took the test in under 45 mins. Between your free online content and a book I picked up on Amazon I was able to understand the material after being out of real estate for 8 year (former realtor) I would advise people to sign up for your study guide, I just stumbled on you days before the test.

I was in Healthcare for over 20 years, knew nothing about mortgages. Opened my first book, took the 3 day mandatory class, and watched every one of the videos non stop. Opened first book took test 9 days later, passed test the first time! I Give so much credit to these videos! Thank you!!!!
@@naei23 study all these courses and take pre tests over and over as well as lots of notes. I honestly cracked my text book maybe 5 times. I also kept bombing my pre tests and was terrified. I knew I had studied hard and realized it was just a confidence issue and I needed to just read the question twice and know I had been given the answer at some point. It's not easy, especially for those like me that have a terrible memory, but it's possible. Good luck! You got this!

I passed the test, know nothing about healthcare but studying to become a nurse, don’t like to listen to other peoples issues, don’t like being around death, not good at making on the spot decisions, but I’m good at academics and passing tests.
Maribelt Figueroa Don’t worry , I didn’t pass my first attempt myself. It’s a hard test. But you can do it. Repetition helped me. I also took practice questions , but everyone learns differently. These videos helped me , because I would tune in any chance I got . Keep your faith too, you got this!

I Aced the exam and I must say it's because of these videos. Anyone reading these comments...go through any course out there. Its all the same...but her videos break down simplify and for some reason stick in your head. Neat ways to remember various regs and laws. Her style really drills, easily into memory. I failed my first test with a 68, but I stumbled on to you a few days ago and it made all the difference in the world on passing my test with an 80 today. @Ethan Craig for sure the videos help, but don't rely solely on them. There's just so much nuanced information. I took affinity's 20 hr course, watched (and listened in my car) the videos, and took an exam prep course as well. good luck!

Passed tonight on my 1st try with an 85%. This is what I did so hopefully it helps someone. My sponsor suggested Compucram so I did their pre-licensing and exam prep. I'd give it a 10/10. I used Affinity exam prep as well due too all the videos I was seeing on UA-cam when I started to immerse myself in this MLO world. I give that a 15/10 when you utilize her system and all the resources they provide. Lastly I used a small amount of random videos I'd see on UA-cam. I watched a guy on UA-cam called Claysmile too.. he had some good acronyms and tips that helped alot. All of this in conjunction helped me pass. It's a whole lot of info that can be on the test so you have to fully prepare. I have a finance background so I didn't want to take this lightly and act like I could walk in and pass. I started pre-licensing on Feb 14-21 and started studying for the exam right after. Studied between 4-8 hours most days. With a job lined up and a family I didn't want to fail so I did alot but I did all this in less than a month!
That's awesome, congratulations!! I have zero experience in this field. I took my 20HR pre-licensing through Mortgage Education, and failed on my first attempt with a 73%. I definitely could have studied more with all of the practice tests and study material still offered with my pre-licensing course, which I am now utilizing. I take my 2nd test in 6 days, just signed up for the Compucram exam prep, and have been watching all of Atricia's / Affinity's videos on UA-cam (I will watch them all again at least one more time) Between the videos, and Compucram, do you think the Affinity exam prep is necessary?

Holy shit, thank you for this! Ive been doing NMLS practice tests for months now and I still score 60-70 because like you show every practice test is worded differently. Ive been self testing for a month now after taking my course and still am not ready. I can pass that specific test but when I find a new one Im so lost and fail again. Matthew Rojas expect all the laws, where and when they apply. Lots of hypothetical situations. Questions on timeframe. Such as, when to send loan estimates and disclosures. Hope this helps.

Matthew Rojas no problem! I was just as nervous/curious. I had about 4 math problems in my test. I'm sure you've heard there are 4,000 possible questions and you get 125 of those questions. No two tests are the same so that's why it's best to have an idea of every possible subject. The math questions involved figuring out the down payment including lender credit and other fees. Also figuring out a borrowers monthly income and debt to income ratio. The test is multiple choice. With most questions, there is one obvious wrong answer. The other 3 possible answers make somewhat sense.. you just have to choose the most correct answer. Just for reference, I took the prelicensing education and studied heavily for a week and there was still alot of material on the test that I had no clue about. Study study study!

I take mine July 10, 2020 AND already have a job offer … This is truly a miracle now to get a job in 2020. Since being laid off from my mortgage company due to COVID and being so fearful that I would be going into next year as a Single Mom without a job due to over 30 million Americans currently on unemployment. My future plans are to become a Mortgage Loan Originator. And remote!

One thing I did notice is I believe the HMSA section is now Section 8 of the 1003 so if you get questions about it, that should be the Demographics section. My own URLA recently did show section 8, not 10. 😊

Yeah, I did David Lunas like a dummy... It just wasn't good... It wasn't a natural program... I mean, he knew everything about it but It was just incredibly hard to focus when he was lecturing into the camera... And, didn't spend time on the details... He more so had to get to the stuff that wasn't so important... I like affinity because its very very personalized and understanding because she dumbs it down for you. David Luna just kind of expects you to be a professional after hearing what he says one time. lol
I want to tell you I am very much enjoying your courses. You are providing a lot of helpful information and insight. I am in the midst of studying for my test. Thus far I have wasted a lot of time because I was not aware of your training. Thank you so much. I will be watching them all. I just passed my exam yesterday. In just reading these comments I found out that Mrs Woods passed away. I was saddened by this. I wanted to pay my respects to her. I found this the last week of my study odor my mortgage exam. I thank her from the bottom of my heart. I passed my test yesterday and there were questions that her voice was in my ear as she explained things.

Couple things: I don’t recall ever seeing an instructor with such control of her environment. She is a true pro. Secondly, her content is invaluable and helped me to pass the exam on the first try. May her memory be a blessing.

I failed the test the first 2 times because I paid for a bogus 20 hour course from else where and didn't really understand anything...I then started searching on youtube how to pass and this channel came up. She explained the content so well and I ended up purchasing her crash course. Their was different words on the test that I didn't understand the first 2 times I took it but artrisha goes over these words in her courses and even on some of the videos here on her youtube page...long story short after studying her crash course I finally passed! I know FORSURE I passed because of her content and I would highly recommend this to anyone looking to pass ! it is so worth the investment! My only regret is not taking the 20 hour course with her! I just found out today that Ms. Woods passed away- what a truly unfortunate event. I wanted to come and publicly share my thanks to her. I had to leave a comment at how grateful I am to Atricia Wood (RIP) and her team for putting these FREE videos together over the years. I passed my exam this morning with an 86%. I listened to these videos when I drove to and from work nearly every day. I can honestly say I would not have done as well had it not been for her straightforward approach to teaching and making difficult concepts seem easy. Yeah, I did mortgage educators and it was an absolute drag.... Not to be mean or anything, but It was very hard to learn with David Luna just talking to the camera.. :( And, I hate the test prep. My 20hour and state are completed, but Im focusing on prepping at this point, and I'm in between going with compucram or oncourse... Not sure which test prep will give me the best material to study on... any pointers?
I am a Licensed Financial Advisor and I decided to get my mortgage license. I took an online course late January and passed the test with an 80% I took the test in under 45 mins. Between your free online content and a book I picked up on Amazon I was able to understand the material after being out of real estate for 8 year (former realtor) I would advise people to sign up for your study guide, I just stumbled on you days before the test.

@@naei23 study all these courses and take pre tests over and over as well as lots of notes. I honestly cracked my text book maybe 5 times. I also kept bombing my pre tests and was terrified. I knew I had studied hard and realized it was just a confidence issue and I needed to just read the question twice and know I had been given the answer at some point. It's not easy, especially for those like me that have a terrible memory, but it's possible. Good luck! You got this!

Maribelt Figueroa Don’t worry , I didn’t pass my first attempt myself. It’s a hard test. But you can do it. Repetition helped me. I also took practice questions , but everyone learns differently. These videos helped me , because I would tune in any chance I got . Keep your faith too, you got this!

Passed tonight on my 1st try with an 85%. This is what I did so hopefully it helps someone. My sponsor suggested Compucram so I did their pre-licensing and exam prep. I'd give it a 10/10. I used Affinity exam prep as well due too all the videos I was seeing on UA-cam when I started to immerse myself in this MLO world. I give that a 15/10 when you utilize her system and all the resources they provide. Lastly I used a small amount of random videos I'd see on UA-cam. I watched a guy on UA-cam called Claysmile too.. he had some good acronyms and tips that helped alot. All of this in conjunction helped me pass. It's a whole lot of info that can be on the test so you have to fully prepare. I have a finance background so I didn't want to take this lightly and act like I could walk in and pass. I started pre-licensing on Feb 14-21 and started studying for the exam right after. Studied between 4-8 hours most days. With a job lined up and a family I didn't want to fail so I did alot but I did all this in less than a month!

I have zero experience in this field. I took my 20HR pre-licensing through Mortgage Education, and failed on my first attempt with a 73%. I definitely could have studied more with all of the practice tests and study material still offered with my pre-licensing course, which I am now utilizing. I take my 2nd test in 6 days, just signed up for the Compucram exam prep, and have been watching all of Atricia's / Affinity's videos on UA-cam (I will watch them all again at least one more time) Between the videos, and Compucram, do you think the Affinity exam prep is necessary?

Holy shit, thank you for this! Ive been doing NMLS practice tests for months now and I still score 60-70 because like you show every practice test is worded differently. Ive been self testing for a month now after taking my course and still am not ready. I can pass that specific test but when I find a new one Im so lost and fail again. Matthew Rojas expect all the laws, where and when they apply. Lots of hypothetical situations. Questions on timeframe. Such as, when to send loan estimates and disclosures. Hope this helps.

Matthew Rojas no problem! I was just as nervous/curious. I had about 4 math problems in my test. I'm sure you've heard there are 4,000 possible questions and you get 125 of those questions. No two tests are the same so that's why it's best to have an idea of every possible subject. The math questions involved figuring out the down payment including lender credit and other fees. Also figuring out a borrowers monthly income and debt to income ratio. The test is multiple choice. With most questions, there is one obvious wrong answer. The other 3 possible answers make somewhat sense.. you just have to choose the most correct answer.
Just for reference, I took the prelicensing education and studied heavily for a week and there was still alot of material on the test that I had no clue about. Study study study!

I passed with a 75 and I worked extensively to pass and and it took a lot of time, I don’t understand the gap between our scores.
I take mine July 10, 2020 AND already have a job offer … This is truly a miracle now to get a job in 2020. Since being laid off from my mortgage company due to COVID and being so fearful that I would be going into next year as a Single Mom without a job due to over 30 million Americans currently on unemployment. My future plans are to become a Mortgage Loan Originator.

One thing I did notice is I believe the HMSA section is now Section 8 of the 1003 so if you get questions about it, that should be the Demographics section. My own URLA recently did show section 8, not 10. 😊

I just have to say thank you so much for these amazing videos!! I failed my first time with a 73%, and I just retook it and passed with an 80%! I kind of waited until the last minute to cram for the second test so I'm sure I could have passed with an even higher score if I started watching these even sooner. Im just doing some research on getting my NMLS and by chance found this video, glad I did cause she is an amazing trainer. Love how she breaks it down and has a cool way to remember the acronyms. I will look into her to see if I can take my 20 hours with her.

Yeah, I did David Lunas like a dummy... It just wasn't good... It wasn't a natural program... I mean, he knew everything about it but It was just incredibly hard to focus when he was lecturing into the camera... And, didn't spend time on the details... He more so had to get to the stuff that wasn't so important... I like affinity because its very very personalized and understanding because she dumbs it down for you. David Luna just kind of expects you to be a professional after hearing what he says one time. lol

I want to tell you I am very much enjoying your courses. You are providing a lot of helpful information and insight. I am in the midst of studying for my test. Thus far I have wasted a lot of time because I was not aware of your training. Thank you so much. I will be watching them all. If someone hasn't yet decided how to go about getting your MLO license, I went to another company and didn't get nearly the useful information that I have here in watching 5 videos and I spent 400$.
