Marin is so fussy about other people's behavior on court when she herself got an abysmal behavior. The way she scolded An Se-young for taking too long to shake her hand at the net and instead celebrated with her coaches as if Marin herself didn't spend a literal 1 minute celebrating with her coaches first before shaking her opponent's hand in a final (Rio Olympic is an easy example, and so many more tourneys) is just so hypocritical.
Her screaming like a rabid maniac to an injured Li Xuerui. The way she always rushed thing up when she's in the lead but will stall the game when she's behind, she's a fighter and she's a good player, but gosh her personality sucks

Most of the time I saw Marin wasting time during the game and too much check her shoes grab the leftovers feathers from the floor and too much screaming and yep the way she is ruin the opponent's mental.

Marin took the shuttle from Pusarla's half - even stepping slightly onto Pusarla's court in doing so. You can see the shadow below the court and how the shuttle was around ~50cm still on Pusarla's side. So clearly very unsportsmanlike of Marin.

Jonathan Christie when he's in winning momentum does it all the time .😂😂 Picks the shuttle early (as he's in a rush) even if it's on his opponent's side to keep the momentum 😂..
Because as the match in progress the momentum can shift in a blink of an eye, so when you're in winning position you have this tendency to get as many points as possible before the momentum switches.
Psychologically it irritates the opponent, but there's no rule yet whether it's right or wrong.
So I don't think Marin has done something against the rules here...
What shindu should have better done here is to sort of delay (asking for mopping the court, medical timeout or whatever) in order to break marins momentum (a lot of players do it), instead of interventing on Marin's action of picking up the shuttle early.
Marin used all sorts of delaying and annoying tactics to throw her opponents off. It is unpleasant and unsportsmanlike. She will not be missed when she retires.
An Se young will educate Marin next time.
To celebrate every point with a shout is going a bit to far she probably does it to get in the opponent's head

Ok, I fully get it that it is totally annoying to play against Marin with all the screaming, but Pusarla was just weird about trying to prevent Marin from picking up the shuttle.
Just shows how Marin is pushing her opponents buttons. In the game for the quarterfinal Marin's opponent also got a yellow card, because she was overdoing delaying the game, while Marin was ever so slightly not overdoing it.
every player has a right to check the shuttle condition when it's on their side. And moreover, marin picking the shuttle push the rest timing of the opponent, and it's not cool

Marin took the shuttle while it was obviously still quite a bit on Pusarla's side of the field. So in a way she 'stole' the shuttle.
PV lost her head, she has always been weaker than Marin and was getting slaughtered in the third game. She lost her mind, simple as that. Bad umpiring too, Marin did nothing wrong.

Asian player always seem to say sorry often to their oppenent if they hit the shuttle to them

To be fair it was Sindhu who ran to the front of the court to take the shuttle away from Marin when she didn’t have to. I agree Marin has bad attitude but this one was on Sindhu.
