Great job Dustin, you have good commentary throught the whole video and the step by step without cutting anything was easy to follow. It's a fairly long video but if you cut anything it wouldn't have need as good. Keep up the good work!
hi Dustin i have a 1986 Kawasaki bayou 300 2x4 it pops i have r/r the carb and have put on over 4 carbs still pops will run but trying to accelerate it will pop and no power also did the timing and valve adjustment and checked al electrical and is good pulled the head and valve lapped and no leaks piston and rings are plenty good and compression timing is dead on for the 300 voltage is 14,30 charging replaced the spark pick up is new plug is new lol so any ideas as what i might be missing just incase i have a new ome carb coming in thanks p/s i did replace the cdi and coil just incase

Also you can identify jis screws by the small punch mark indented into the head of the screw

It's probably the pickup coil or pulse trigger coil inside the stater cover or the key could be sheared in the flywheel
The carb screws are JIS screws. Japanese industrial standard ( JIS) screwdriver really helps to not strip those screw heads.
Like all aftermarket carbs you'll need to setup the jetting. It'll never be right out the box, thankfully jets are cheap enough though.
