talk about staying power. what artists wouldn’t want to still be appreciated a couple hundred years later. and major props to the musicians with the talent to bring it to life for our time
May anyone, tell me even only approximately how many times master music like the above one, has been played and much more, listened to, and classical music fans never get tired of? Beethoven is one, but not the only. Just a couple of examples. Happens to me, but no doubt that also to the millions. Take, for instance, Chopin. Pieces listened to, even three consecutive times while it happens that I know by heart every single note. It does not really matter at all. The good sensations received, never shall make you feel fed up. Another example. Hallelujah, The Messiah, Händel. Is its wonder to last "for ever and ever" or not? That is enough. I will tell what all this looks to me. A gift from Heaven given to only a handful of humans, the composers, for free, to be finally enjoyed by all those who are ready to feel like elevated to a better and higher level. All right. Less talking and more listening to music. Let us enjoy while listening to Beethoven. Many thanks to all of you who may have read my opinions.
I agree. With a great piece of music, even one well known to the hearer, each time one can find something new. I liken it to hearing a great speech; one may never tire of the speaker's humanity and compassion. And after all, the listener also grows. I've been listening to some of this music for almost 60 years and by now it is ingrained in my soul, making me a far better person for it.
On MY "thing" the cough was at 27:04. I heard it. No headphones. But I am not surprised. Someone always coughs during live Classical Music performances, even during those pieces performed and recorded in a studio. HAhahahaha. I am SO Laughing!

"greatest hits" lol, sounds a funny title to give to Beethoven's compositions. Sounds like top 40 on the radio. (light humor, no offense). Thank you for the hard work in making these vids. I appreciate it.
Try the Beethoven cycle maestro Järvi did with the Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie Bremen. I discovered these recordings a few years ago and they quickly became my alltime favourites. And if u need the emotions and power of an entire symphony condensed in 10 minutes there is the Egmont Overture.
Thanks, Dieu Donné for your "attention call" regarding my bad English. I have realized that even when I cannot understand the reason, several times I wrote "write" when I meant "right". Now I have got to understand your sentence "And you write quite wrong". Thanks a lot. On the other side, we all were discussing music and not about English grammar. Many others make much more important mistakes, but I understand that is something common and never, ever, have responded making any kind of direct observation about it, for they do as far as they can. Regards.
I agree. Comments should be about the music, and nothing else. Correcting someone else's grammar is considered in the worst taste. It is on a par with discussing the conductor's haircut. Just not done.

Dear Abdellatif 2F. Please, never call "song" to a symphony, a piano or violin concert, a choral, etc. Search in the internet the different types of concepts, according to the different kinds of music. It shall help you to have a good introduction the the fantastic world of good music. I imagine you are young. If you are and enjoy classical music, never leave it. It shall help you much in your life, because many times it is the only place where you are always, and ever welcome.
Hello, HalidonMusic, thank you for all your wonderful collections throughout these days! They're some of the best ones! Anyway, could you make a collection of 'angry music' (similar to your earlier collections like happy music)- signifying anger and rage. For example, Shostakovich's String Quartet No.8 . Thanks and keep up the good works!

You are really funny...;)
Beethoven is my favorite composer of all time. He seems to bring out the very best in me.
Color is the keyboard, the eyes are the harmonies, the soul is the piano with many strings. The artist is the hand that plays, touching one key or another, to cause vibrations in the soul
Beethoven's music is sublime. It is a language with words which cannot be sung, and expresses thoughts that cannot be spoken.
it’s kinda like he is telling us stories through music language

Even in a studio you can still get a cough if a member of the orchestra has to do one...
It was recorded by human beings.... Or what did you expect?
He looks like someone just interrupted him when he had the idea and he can´t get it back.... genius!!!
This Beethoven fella has written some snappy tunes, eh what?
