Hey! I really appreciate that man, if you have any questions or want any specific content, please feel free to recommend an idea :) I hope you have a great day.
I just wanted to say thank you for your previous Infinite lava burst build video, this is my first time ever playing shaman and I've been enjoying it so far. I was using a stormkeeper build, utilizing earth ele for the 5% reduction in dmg, I was using the ghostwolf speed talents but it seems I get trained every single game no matter what and was just dying anyways, this really seems to help out a lot. Definitely made a subscriber out of me and I look forward to your future content.
I'm really glad this helped! Sorry I haven't put out any content in over a week - I've been super super busy irl. I'll explain in a video soon BUT I'm really happy you're enjoying it man :)

been playing ele at 2.1 in solo shuffle and i can't describe how bait it is to take gust of wind over spirit walk. spirit walk seems to be so much more valuable. getting out of charge root or dracthyr root is just so important. i run spirit walk every game and never change it, you can always find a way to use it even vs a wizard cleave. i do like that you're running surge tho.. i was running aftershock. i feel like i'd still run aftershock into caster cleaves but run surge into melee for the root on frost shock. great video man - i subbed and threw a like to ya.

Hey! Sorry for not responding sooner! I have updated this build a bit and will put out another video soon on it. Rogues definitely are super hard for us to deal with as a shaman, but if you can force cloak early on and keep them defensive it definitely helps the most. Spamming roots (Earth Grab, or Earth Shock > Frost Shock) while training their teammates tends to help, as they feel safer using cloak offensively and then punishing their cloak use by popping as much burst as possible followed by a lightning lasso really will set the tempo.
Can you p lease make a video on elemental shaman solo shuffle where you show exactly how you are kiting double melee and what your thoughts are as you do it? I would just like to see the amount of ghost wolf stuff you are doing to get away and have them "Swap targets".
Hey man! i have a question? what should i buy with conquest first? i was about to buy the shield BUT i notice the stats are not good so i got the one from world pvp. Not sure what to get instead. Ty!
Hey! I suggest getting your weapon or neck first, the only reason is because the enchant/socketing gems for those is the most expensive part, so its just nice to get it done first. I was contemplating getting Gladiator's Badge because the crit strike is nice on the trinket as well as the on use increasing your main stat by so much. So its kinda hard to say! TLDR: Main-Hand Weap OR Neck imo. :)
I wouldnt take the ice frost shock buff nor the healcrit and pick up stormkeeper for some massive burstage and less waiting for procs. And also not take the surge increase but flat 5% reduction per pet - your ele will be up almost all the time. And i find the pvp talent for the shields very strong, its an additional root/blastaway so you can rotate or counter charges/pulls/step on almost the same cd. On top of that... NS does not work for me, as in its bugged ? Itll not cast anything instantly
Hey! Thats an awesome idea! :) I personally don't like the 5% reduction, because even if it was permanent, 5% reduction just doesn't feel like enough to sacrifice 30% increased healing surges. I do like stormkeeper and have another build I'd like to show utilizing stormkeeper soon, I've 100-0'd multiple people with this build so it could be kinda crazy.
Thanks for this guide ! Very usefull What is your mindset when being focused in 3v3 situation (ex solo Shuffle). Do you try to kite first, or spam LB procs, or LoS as much as possible, or try to get their counterspell out to enable your healer to be free to cast, put totem down ? Thanks in advance ! Elem is my forever spec but I struggle with 2 people on me
Hey! I can absolutely explain this! My mindset when being focused depends on what team compositions I'm fighting, a lot of the time we struggle with double cleave melees (TSG, Survival KFC, DHD, Survival Cupid Cleave ETC.) As they put out an immense amount of pressure early on. While being trained by melee, a lot of the time you'll be spamming frost shocks, earth bind, and ghost wolf form. Keeping this up will eventually lead to distance between you and the melee you're getting trained by. Eventually they will be forced to swap targets if you continuously are kiting. Vs Casters you can either play defensively on a pillar (also known as pillar humping or turtling), or you can play upfront aggressively. If you choose to play aggressively immediately, you need to recognize when you run out of damage to keep them defensive. Once you run out of damage, you will want to be on a pillar, as you have no way to instantly to a pillar I.E. an ability like Blink, Demonic Portal, Shadowstep, Transcendence, etc.. TLDR: Vs Melee - Kite a BUNCH until they either - give up on you as a kill target, OR you have an opening like a multiple target cap totem, a cross CC that your team has set up, or you just gain pressure on them and force them defensive. Vs Casters - Either LoS early on and play for the long game, bait out CDs and try to capitalize on them, OR play hyper aggressive early on, take center field and start putting out as much damage ASAP to force them defensive, by doing this you'll either get enough pressure to lead to a kill early, OR you'll end up running out of damage and they'll live, when this happens you HAVE to know when you're running low on damage, when you run low kite back to a pillar and begin to play defensive until your next burst opening.
Its possible! It was not I, but I did play back in wrath as ele and I loved it back then lol. I used to watch videos all the time but I didn't put out content back then because I was like 12-13 years old LOL.
It depends pretty heavily on what composition I'm fighting against. Hex was and has been pretty worthless vs most mage rdru teams, and they're very prevalent currently. BUT with that being said, in order to set up cross CC, utilizing earthgrab into cap stuns or having proper thunderstorms alone help massively. I intend on making a video entirely based around proper thunderstorm usage soon that can show just how over the top strong it is especially on specific maps like dalaran sewers and blade's edge. I play Ele with a WW currently, and plan on playing Ele WW to 2.2k+ish this season most likely, focusing a lot on my evoker. So set up wise, we're really going for kills within kick windows/paralyze into leg sweep windows. With how bursty the game is currently, you almost don't even need cross CC to kill off a majority of classes even through defensives.. Which is insane.
Honestly I run icefury purely because of Flux Melting - Flux Melting is just a fat 20% damage increase to Lava Burst and you don't have to icefury to get Flux Melting, it applies on normal frost shocks!
@@Grimlocked Youd only have LB procs, if you forgo the frost shocks and pick up storm you do very little less damage with lava and gain guaranteed minimum quadruple lightning's - ES in there with surge proc and youll far outdo the frostshock buff.
