Yeaaa Dev definitely is a major glass cannon. It's super hard at first but becomes a lot easier the more you play it so keep your head up and keep grinding! You go this. Also we feel a bit undertuned in prepatch imo.

Yup! I've always said this haha. It feels very similar imo (I've also played a bunch of WW) It's funny to note that a bunch of better WW players transition super easily into Dev (Venruki, Chunli, Trill etc.)

@@Grimlocked Yeah I never thought much of it during the xpac seeing like chun and trill playing it in awc, I guess especially cause they'd end up swapping off it to other stuff anyway. Then I actually spent some time playing it and its just what you're doing during the fight and how you think directly aligns with what a ww wanted to do during a match in DF. I'm really not enjoying the ww overhaul so far, dunno if I just need time to adjust but I find dragon looking more and more appealing.

Yea I noticed this too, I couldn't 1v1 like anything on beta lol. Hopefully some stat adjustments when it hits live servers will help!

@@Grimlocked How does look pvp wise in the war within ? I know its considered a monster in pve. but i havent touched aug since maybe a month after it came out.

@@LeCaptRage Augmentation is looking far better then Devoker in PvP on Beta currently. So as of right now - Both specs are looking pretty good for PvP in TWW!! :)

@@Grimlocked They're both looking pretty good, but Aug is way better ? It kind if suck if that's the case... If Aug is good, it just replace dev technically.

@@LeCaptRage Aug is definitely significantly better on beta sadly; but I will say Dev has its place > Aug in certain situations. Aug does have significantly higher burst currently on like a 30 second rotation on Beta. We'll see how it balances out with stats, I think dev struggles with low mastery in PvP.

Yea honestly scale commander looks insaneeee, very good stuff! I realllly hope they consider changing up Flameshaper a bit but with that being said - I'm still gonna give a shot at it and make a guide for it when TWW comes in! I cannot wait for it honestly. Pretty excited and hopeful for this expansion!

I do have a weak aura package but I honestly forget it's there all the time. It's just Mes' weak aura pack I think. I honestly use weak aura's purely to track my proc trinket proc, and weap enchant proc to line up big damage.

Yes for everything except for Rescue, I think it's far faster and easier to use Rescue if you use a: /cast @*Insert Teammates Name/Party1 or Party2* Rescue macro.

I was 2.4 back in MOP; and have been 2.4 multiple times since MOP. I do dispel curses from myself, but it depends on comp because I'm not going to dispel a curse off myself just to get kidney'd into a death mark and not be able to dispel the death mark etc. I could explain all of my plays but I don't need to. Haha this applies to pretty much everyone in my opinion; I try really hard to keep my tier lists not biased to the best players in the game because that could definitely sway the opinion on how some classes play LOL It's also for every bracket as well, I will say Demon Hunter and Arms Warriors are VERY good in 2v2s (They're also good in 3s, but they are kings of melee in 2s imo.)

Going into TWW, I HIGHLY suggest going Death Knight (Rider of the Apocalypse) in the current build for the game (patch wise), they're looking very solid in my opinion. Thanks for watching!!

It's lowest in PvE because mobs health isn't volatile like health is in PvP. As a fight goes on in PvE Mastery decreases it's value, where as; as a fight goes on in PvP Mastery continues to hold it's value and towards dampening Mastery actually becomes an incredible asset to devastation evoker. Very nice.

Definitely! I think it has a really really high burst and that helps substantially in Blitz/RBGs because there is no dampening to hinder any healing; being able to deal massive damage to a bunch of people within short periods of time makes you a pretty valuable asset imo. In TWW Mass Disintegrate from Scalecommander hero talents will just further help that imo!

Hey! I found my healer from LFG and luckily he was an amazing guy, very consistent - a rarity in LFG haha. And my DH I found on Twitter from talking to other PvPers and kind of networking my way to finding teammates. I will say Twitter is a great way/on Discord theres a great server called World of PvP (I'll link in a sec.) that has a pretty active LFG that people can post their experience and find like-minded teammates in, far better then actual LFG imo. discord.gg/ynTJWcVu

It shouldn't have tooo much play on PvP at least in the way I play my Dragonrages because I eternity surge > tip the scales fire breath instantly, so I usually only get an extra 16 seconds anyways because I get one extra surge/fire breath off after the first set of surge/breath. The only way to get more value out of it would be to space the cooldowns like surge *wait 6-8 seconds* breath, surge *wait 6-8 seconds* breath etc. But that playstyle isn't viable for arenas because we try to get off our damage within specific short kill windows. The nerf to Animosity is almost entirely PvE related I think with people being able to reset their empower spells quicker with Pyres and have Dragonrage up a LONG time.

from having watched on twitch i think it's safe to say there was a pretty good number of shadowplays as well (sp/lock)

Not sure if you mean what other comps we saw Devastation Evokers in or just comps in general: If you were wondering on devoker comps - we fought majority DH Devoker, some Devoker DK like Myth said - we also fought a Devoker Boomkin but they didn't do too well into our DH Devoker even if we played poorly. If you were wondering in general - we fought a bunchhh of Cupid Cleaves (Ret Pally, Hunter), Shadowplay (Shadow Priest, Warlock), and a decent amount of DH Cleaves (Demon Hunter, DK/Ret Pally mainly).

I highly suggest Frost DK Devoker X, DH Devoker MW/Hpriest, or Unholy DK Devoker X really. All of those are pretty straightforward. I have also played WW Devoker Hpriest, Destro Lock Devoker Rsham/Rdru. All of the above are pretty good - I'm currently 2.5cr in 3s as DH Devoker Caster MW.
