This curvature makes objects come together, hence why light, which has no mass can be affected by gravity. I'm guessing this isn't what the presenter meant though when he asked his really insightful question.
And objects don't have weight, they have mass. They are not solid, atoms make up everything. You are correct, but you're being pedantic. This is an interview aimed at the layman like me
