- I am starting to paint a 15mm Aztec army to play l'Art de la Guerre (ADLG) I found some figures on a Kickstarter to 3D resin printer, Children of the Sun, and decided to try this army although I understand it is not very good for competition, the important thing is that I have fun painting it.
I started with the light infantry, which do not involve many figures and at the same time dress a little of each to test what I will find in other units with more figures; skin and hair tone, color of clothing, feathers...
The figures are from www.kickstarter.com/projects/... that offered them in 28 and 15mm version, my friend Teri has been so kind to print all the necessary figures for a 15mm army... a lot!

It's at times like this that I wish I was just getting started in wargaming. The availability and variety (not to mention the excellent quality) available have totally changed the acquisition and development of wargames armies. I'm envious. . . , but I congratulate you on another spectacular paint excursion. Well done!!
Well, it takes time for anything to mature and even more so in this industry based on small and volatile companies, every time one leaves the business a lot of talent and knowledge is lost. It seems that now a technological change is beginning that we will see where it takes us, I suppose that it also needs its process but it is exciting! Thank you very much for your comment
Splendid paint job with this interesting theme ! Painting Aztecs is always fun . Greetings , Robert .

Gracias a ti por tu comentario!
Precioso conjunto como te han quedado. Me gustan algunos podelos concretos por el dinamismo de los modelos.
Las figuras son estupendas, muchas de las esculturas tienen pathos
Alex, those miniatures are perfect for your painting style. And wow, you painted then so well! The poses are so diverse and visually pleasing and your basing highlights that. Are they true 15s or 18s?. I couldn't tell what sort of priming you performed first. Was it a light wash to preserve detail? It just so happened I was looking at 15mm Mayan miniatures to see if that would be an interesting army to build.
The figures measure between 15.5 to 17 mm from the ground to the eyes, so they are 15 mm slightly generous but still 15 mm. The primer I used as a base is white so as not to lose luminosity with the subsequent painting, and it is true your appreciation that I applied only one layer and quite thin, although I did not dilute it. I would also paint all the pre-Columbian American armies! Too bad they didn't have cavalry to make them competitive enough on the table. Thank you very much for your comment and for watching the video with such interest!
