Love the drums. More like a work of art than a drum. Not familiar with the drumming
technique used here but it works for them. I'm guessing it is rooted in tradition.
Thanks for sharing. Would love to see a longer clip about drummers training and
maybe one when new potential drummers are coming in for an audition.

It is a drill movement. The same as an infantry soldier has specific movements to perform while on parade such as coming to a halt or shouldering arms, bandsmen have drill movements that are unique to their trade.
