Amazing feat of strength and endurance! Wow!! I felt something in my right shoulder when I tried upside down pushups, and it is taking me about a month to recover, I am still training wiht caution. I wonder what is your strategy for avoiding injuries
Thank you so much Mrs. Boots! Sorry to hear about your shoulder - always difficult to stay positive through those things. My advice for avoiding injury (as much as possible understanding that accidents can/will happen) is to continually work on optimizing HOW you move. The better you move, the less things will hurt. Find a coach with a great eye for correct movement and try to move better in all your workouts. Don’t worry about your times/weights, instead focus on optimal movement. The CrossFit methodology describes it as “virtuosity” - doing the common uncommonly well. Strive for a perfect squat, a perfect push-up, a perfect pull-up, etc. - my experience has proven to me that making this your North Star is much more productive than goals around numbers (times/weights). Just my two cents!!
Outstanding!
Thank you kindly Tomasz!!
