Now I’d appreciate if they did that in mid since it can drag in and occupy the enemy team but what’s that gonna do in base? We’re down a player and if any of our teammates join him, we’ll lose!
i'm a mix of the salmon run and the person who can't commit. Despite having 860 hours in the game, i still am 200k freshness points away from getting my first 5 star weapon, but i'm happy that way
I'm actually a mix of pretty much every type you mentioned. I'm super competive and worked my way up to S+10, and stick to my main. I dress for fashion, but I also put the correct gear on my clothes. I get tilted every so often, but I definitely acknowledge skillful players that outplay me. I've got a cool splashtag, and love eggstrawork (especially when I get to choose my main)... But after all that, I sometimes spend a few hours in turf war for lighthearted target practice. Then again, now that I think about it more, I fit into your "Too Committed" type and I'm proud of it.
I'm definitely a casual. As you were describing it especially the part about outfits based on appearance though I have taken that a step above and made a bunch of characters with different appearances both in terms of outfits and customisation.
You forgot me. The ultimate casual player that get 27 kills per games whitout tryharding, can never choose what to pick, know all the lore of splatoon, played for all the 3 splatoon games, 100% every story mode, play 90% of the time whit his friends, spend half of his life to get the most beautiful gear whit good abilities, hates salmon run and finally play 90% of the time in turf war.
You forgot the 10th type, the Artist, who usually sticks to an identifiable name and outfit and who can often be found hanging around the square with some new Splatverse post. I'd personally fall into the casual, focusing on style over optimized gear, and while I'll dip into ranked and Salmon Run I'm not nearly dedicated enough to be more than mid-rank.
Casual and story player. Haven’t 100% story but I played all the kettles and had a fun time with the credits. I’m not the best at splatoon but I still have fun and enjoy splatfests a ton.
Im a mix of a Try-Hard and Non-committal. I love the variety of weapons and I always end up playing like 10 Weapons at once. Though i still have a main and usually the one weapon i always fall back on, The Tri-Stringer.
i'm absolutely a "too committed" player, but only for the dualie class. i've five-stared light tetras and ndapples + four starred squelchers and splat dualies, and honestly, i couldn't be happier with it! the dualies are such a fun and versatile class that always keeps me engaged. great video, and fantastic dualie squelcher gameplay- i'm so impressed !! liked and subscribed :D

I’m a mix between a casual player and a competitive player. I play Splatoon 3 for fun but also mostly play anarchy battles to climb in rankings. So I like to call myself a competitive-casual player.
In turf war, i'm an inkvader, i go to the enemy base splat other players just for my own pleasure... And sometimes is for strategy. I stick on mains abillities like ninja squid and the one that mask the super jump point when being far ( i don't know the name of it in english, i usually speak french. 😅 ) because i like being discreet in that game and my strategies depends of it. I also stick with dualies but i use one particuliar on tower control and another main for everything else.
I'm a mix between The Player Who's Too Committed and The Player Who Can't Commit. I know that sounds so weird, but it's true! 🤣I stick to being my avatar the whole time, same hair, same everything; the only difference is that I can never fully commit to a weapon because I'm an all-rounder. I have like, 5 favorite weapons to use, but I swap between them all AND also use some that aren't from the 5 mains if I think it suits the mode well enough. I do however have some outfits that I'll use over and over because the abilities are filled up and effective (like the Pro Player, and the outfits look so strange at times;) but I never fully commit to an outfit because I am ability chunk HUNGRY. I keep trying to earn some new abilities whenever I get some more food tickets... So I take gear with non-full abilities and start unlocking!
I’m probably a mix of casual & can’t commit with the smallest ounce of pro tendencies. I’m not interested in sticking exclusively to the meta weapons or going to tournaments or picking based on gear abilities alone, but I do keep track of the competitive scene, try and work to make my good-looking outfit have good enough abilities, and will avoid playing any strictly low tier weapons such as the Undercover or the Clash. I tend to rotate between 2-4 weapons (Ballpoint, Octobrush, and sometimes Big Swig and Slosher Deco), but can’t decide on a definite main, and while I try to make my Splashtag look good (name of Alchemist and title of Yesterday’s Youth as a reference to “The Kids from Yesterday” by MCR), I also filled my locker with a ton of Autobombs because it’s funny. Ultimately, while I am competitive and try to win, I also try to accept that it’s just a game and having fun should always be the #1 priority.
For me, I’m 100% a casual player: maybe I have a bit of Salmon Runner in me but even then I’m casual in that- I just like vibin’ Also I do care about fashion and what abilities are tied to them, not that that matters lol
New Players having the “protecc” status is like people in Sky: CotL loving Moths (Moths is fandom term of New Player) I went from New Player to Casual to Tryhard (but backing out if I got a migraine which lasts like two days), then I went to Salmon Runner most of the time. Currently wanting to help new players by sticking to Go-Getter since I found little fun struggling in keeping EVP all the time. I don’t personally understand being too committed to one weapon because I am polyamorous with my weapons in comparisons 😂
I'm literally a mix of every one of these (exept noob) One day I'll feel like a salmon runner Another day I might feel like a casual Some other time I'm a committed player
Normal people: "How do you not get bored of exclusively using a single weapon?" Me (probably autistic): "Because this is the one I'm skilled with... if I switch off it, I underperform. And doing well at the video game is kinda where my fun comes from."
I for the most part fit into casual, I've been playing ever since November 2015 when I bought a WiiU on Black Friday that had Splatoon included with it but I'm in it for the fun. I regularly go back to the first game, especially now that it's back, yay! Mostly because I prefer those maps & it's easier to just have a good time in that game. Sorta also fit a little bit into can't commit. The N-Zap 89 was my main in the first, still is the fallback weapon I use because I know it, it's comfortable, & I easily just fall into line while playing it but I ended up LOVING seekers, they're my favorite sub weapon so I ended up playing the Carbon Roller Deco a lot in the first game but also Tri Slosher Nouveau so I ended up being a little varied like I can easily pick up a Carbon Roller or Tri Slosher & know how to handle the weapon at least, I played regular Carbon Roller sometimes in S1 so I can play the Deco somewhat alright in 3, I just am bad with the Trizooka. I have always been open to trying different weapons & yeah, I change up my inkling/octoling up all the time.
I loved playing the og splatoon when it first came out because there was mainly turf war, no salmon runs meaning that everybody who played that game, has at least played turf war once. I absolutely think that splatoon was one of the most best games on Wii U but that’s just me
And how can we not forget about spawn campers who will literally position themselves & wait until the player has landed and will immediately take them down with a roller or with a charger.
I like to think myself as the Casual player, because I always love having on different kinds of clothes and outfits to try and match with what I’m wearing or come up with something interesting and unique.
I'm 100% the too committed one. I WILL marry the Hydra Splatling and my wedding outfit WILL be my usual Takoroka Mesh + Manatee Swag Sweat + Punk Whites.
I think I'm a Salmon Runner Casual 😊! I only play for fun and I HATE the meta! In any game, I can't stand it.... My gear, I only wear for style, and I look at my bonuses extremely rarely! I really enjoy playing Salmon Run because it's a lot of fun, and it allows me to get to grips with new weapons! I've had the pleasure of playing Mini Splatling and Splatana Wipper Deco alongside my beloved Big Swig Roller! I've never shouted at my team-mates, because everyone's at a different level, and I don't consider myself a strong player! Everyone contributes to the effort of the match! In short, to all the unknown players who have been in my team, and even my opponents, who were just looking to have fun like me, I can't thank you enough for all the good times spent painting territory and zones! I'd also like to thank those who accompanied me on the Tower Control, those who escorted me when I was carrying the mighty Rainmaker and those who helped me launch the Clams! Splatoon is and always will be a fun game for me, and I hope I don't get too competitive! Sometimes I worry... That's it for me, stay cool fellow Splatoon Players 😌!
i'm a mix of the not committed and too committed types i can't decide on a main weapon and keep switching between the ones i'm good at but i'm too committed to a gear set and splashtag so i have to keep the gear set good for every weapon i play which is a bit hard lol
Luckily Last Ditch Effort and Swim Speed Up are useful with almost every weapon! I use them in my hat and shoes (keep utility subs like quick super jump and ink resistance up in the sub slots) so I really usually change the shirt! So I guess I'm committed to a set but I have room for flexibility in there.
In Splatoon two, I only played a roller then and Splatoon three I only played roller until Kraken roller became a not so good weapon anymore so now I’m drifting into trying out more weapons and stuff. I mainly use a very basic shooter weapon that has a shockwave special
You really explained me with casual lol. I’m also the player who’s too committed and salmon runner. I’m like 1/4th of the ??? because I am “Alternan Wall”
It's so fun to change titles! I used "Wahoo-World Shield" for the first Big Run which took place in that map. Also "Inkopolis Square's Blade of grass" (DLC when???) But my favorite title combo is "Lost-and-Found Lead" which is the title that I use when I play Anarchy (pretty fitting for what Anarchy is, methinks!)
I'm totally the indecisive one I cannot for the life of me decide what gear, gear abilities, locker, splashtag, or weapon I want to main. I've probably spent more time tinkering with my locker or contemplating what gear I want with which abilities than actually playing the game.
I'm def the casual and non committed type. I have like 7 Weapons at 4 stars, yet I love playing every weapon, especially during the first month of a new season.
I am a: - Casual player: I do love Splatfest and Turf War. Still a bit cautious of Anarchy battles, they are a bit intimidating. As for weapons, I did stick to one recommended weapon for a long, long time before I had the courage to try something else. I also freaking love customizing things, especially my character and locker. But I have worn some ugly clothes just to fill up the slots and scrap them for abilities for a while (I don’t do that anymore, it’s too tedious to do) - Story Mode player: I completed all of Alterna and have 13 Splatoon Amiibos so far. And that’s about it for this one. - Salmon Runner: I LOVE Salmon Run! I use the badges to tell others which three enemies I’m good at taking out on my own. I think I’m at level 45 now, I don’t think Turf War makes you level up that quickly either from the looks of it. I always play Big Run until my fingers feel like they are falling off, but I don’t keep track of random and gold rotations, I’ll definitely play them though if I happen to catch them. I don’t think I’ve played Eggstra Work yet, the first one was impossible to join and the one after that I think I wasn’t able to play or just forgot about it. - Player who can’t commit: I have several main weapons now after I started trying out new ones. I’m currently leveling up all my favorites to 4 stars so I can easily find them in my weapon list. The front of my locker is all holo (and some placeholder non-holo) weapon stickers. I got 5 outfits saved to Amiibo/Freshest Fits, 1 for each of 5 favorite weapons that matches the color and/or vibe of that weapon, while trying not to repeat gear for every outfit to make them unique to that weapon. I don’t change my splashtag that often, but when I do it’s because I just unlocked a cooler title, banner or badge, or it’s Splatfest time. I do spend a lot of time perfecting my look in the character creation screen, especially during Splatfests, where I match the eye color as closely to my team’s color as possible. Or I pick a team’s color I was torn between and didn’t end up picking. Like for example I picked team Vanilla, but chose a pink eye color to show I also appreciated/liked Strawberry. Edit 1: Grammar and spacing out paragraphs on phone is hard. Edit 2: I can provide some examples in the comments under this post if someone is curious about what my in game clothes and weapon combos look like.
casual and salmon runner!!! i used to be such a tryhard in splatoon 2 but idk i feel like i’m so bad at splat 3 👀 just hit level 30 the other day and i’ve had the game since launch
I’m definitely the player who can’t commit. I say I main nautilus (which is my most played weapon) but it’s only 4 stars. Also the thing about having a bunch of holographic stickers on the locker is 100% true 😂
I am somewhere between "casual" and "committed" (honestly, I change my outfit depending on the actual real life weather, so in summer, I wear t-shirts, in autumn I wear stuff like hoodies and sweaters and in winter I wear coats, lol).
I'm the salmon runner. I have both top 5% badges and 999 EVP on every stage. My locker is also exclusively salmon run themed and I have trophies from every Big Run so far
I am definitely a mix of a casual player and someone who committed too much. Don't care about meta, don't care about rank, got one amazing set of clothes and stuck with it, play only Flingza roller and absolutely refuse to go other way around because this is a playstyle that I enjoy and having fun with. AND ALSO I HAVE COOL LOCKER WITH A BUNCH OF STICKERS ON IT-
I know of another type that falls between casual and tryhard/pro I call it "challenger"; wants to be the best version they can of how they naturally play. Someone who wants to be good at the game but isn't going to sacrifice fun for it.
Uncommitted Salmon Runner for me Idk I just can't find a weapon for me. I mained sorrela brella and wasabi in Splatoon 2 and 1 respectively and the weapons that replace them in this game just aren't good, so I've been going through a bit of a Splatoon identity crisis weapon wise. If you have any ideas for me just from the weapons I played in the last two games please tell me what I could play now. I would really love the help!
Options I recommend: -Tentatek Splattershot has basically the Wasabi kit but with Triple Inkstrike instead of Inkstrike. -N-ZAP ‘89 has Autobomb like the Sorella and has Super Chump as a semi-replacement for Bomb Rush. -Tenta Sorella Brella doesn’t have a sub or special similar to your weapons, but it’s a really synergistic kit for the weapon and is currently the best Brella in the game. -Splatana Wiper also doesn’t share a kit with your weapons, but it’s one of the better frontline weapons currently and is just fun to play (Torpedo is a good substitute for Autobomb due to sharing a focus on location seeking and distracting the target) If any of these sound appealing, then give them a try! They’ll likely feel slightly off for the first couple matches, but once you get into a flow with it, they could turn out to be a new main. (And if I may, I personally recommend the Slosher Deco, not because it’s super similar to these weapons but just because it’s one of the most fun weapons to master in my opinion)
I'm honestly the casual and the random, except I do have stickers and just a usual username. Tbh, squid parties can be fun in Turf, and I'm a Turf person, so it's all just fun
I'm the competitive player with over 1k hours in the game and my X power is somewhere on 2300p but my gear doesnt look bad cuz I farm a lot of ability chunks to have good looking gear but also optimal stats. I also 100% completed alterna but I dont use an agent name
Hi, I am a fairly new player, and have a peak x power of 2400. I hope you don’t mind me asking, but how would you suggest I get into competitive Splatoon?
I am new to the game and my only complaint so far is being matched against people with maxed out gear and weapons and im still trying to figure out whats going and also not exactly know what to do to get new clothes
I'm a casual and an overcommitter. I haven't quite found a look I like yet but I have a pair of goggles I never take off and can only play with one weapon. I am not incredible but not awful either, but I care just enough about meta to consider thst when constructing an outfit, and just enough about fashion to consider that too. I do not care about ranked, don't even look at it, I'm just trying to have fun.
I fall between "casual" and "pro/competitive" like I mostly play Open/Series for fun. but I do care to a great extent about playing good with my main and my gear is optimized
I'm a weird mesh of Casual and Non-Committal with a smidge of Pro tendencies. When I first played S3, I'd played Splattershot, Hydra Splatling, and Undercover mostly, but currently cycle around Dark Tetras and Custom Jr. I have 4-starred a handful and currently have only 5-starred Undercover (Been wanting to 5-star D.Tetras) Over the months, I have made many secondaries/tertiary weapons such as Bamboozler, Explosher, even played with Squeezer and V.Dapple Dualies. At most, when new weapons are introduced, I get it to 1-star. I take pride in being flexible. I've been fairly lucky with some of the gear I have, such as for Undercover and C.Jr, but I have made some for specific weapons, though I've also made it so that it looks appealing too. I do want to be more adept to this game, but man is it a heck of a mental discipline.
I'm Non-Commital for sure. I'm S+0 with my highest X Power being 1910, but you'll never see me play the same weapon twice in a row. I am yet to 5-Star any weapons. I've four-starred five weapons.
Im a mix of a casual and too committed/ tryhard player ( The Old timer player, if you will,) Recently ive come out of X and im slowly getting worse due to life being more demanding and having less time to play splatoon then i used to Im going to B+ and im branching out to all the weapons class and I like where im going and hopefully i can get back good into X with 2400 one day
Mix of a few here Casual to Tryhard (seriously I tilt way too easily, it's a problem) Storymode (What made me realize I might prefer single player games a little more at this point in my life) Salmon Run (The one mode I don't feel awful losing) No Commitment (Love my Splatlings, but variety is the spice of life)
Lol, I'm the player who can't commit for sure since I change weapons and gears based on mood. However, I'm a bit of tryhard as well, though I'm able to recognize when I tilt and stop playing immediately when I do.
I'm mostly new to the splatoon and i definitely fit more under the new player category, I've played all of 1, 2, and 3's story mode mostly and got into all of the splatoon games late, splatoon 3 is the first splatoon games I've actually decided to play the multiplayer of outside of a few matches, I just use the aerospray because I find turfing to be the most fun thing in splatoon and i don't feel like being a sweat, no offence to people who like ranked though, seems fun but it's not for me
Im definitely too committed. I just feel like i can always do better with my stamper... defeating people who use shooters fuels me so much, knowing how much harder it is for my weapon to function in it's current state compared to their shooter buffs. I use anything that sucks so i can get only the most respectable kills. I have 4 stars on gloogas and stamper and im hyperfresh on both as i type this.
Casual describes me best, but I'm also kind of a salmon runner, and I'm not sure completing story mode and going back to find the rest of the sunken sea scrolls makes me kind of a storymode player. Also I often play for the sake of getting the gear I want or getting more money.
Honestly, I'm at most a mix of a casual due to my lax disposition, however; desiring to do better tilting to try hard. Ones I find a player whos skillful I often attempt a duel for fun and a test between our skills in regular Turf Wars. In a way I respect other pro players. Ones I tilt though, I either close the game completely or vibe on Salmon run. I'm passionate of the games charm and its story; the only reason I play the game.
I'm definitely salmon runner and player who can't commit. I'd argue the second ties into the first in that salmon run forces me to be ready to use every and any weapon across multiple shifts and particularly during random ones. I have every stage's 999 badge and have been top 5% in every big run and eggstra work. I have both current kings to silver but no bosses or kings to gold yet. On the other end of the spectrum I have 17 weapons at 4 stars and the remaining 74 all at 3 stars and fully intend to shoot for every new kit to at least 3 stars and 15-20 kits to 4 stars every season going forward. I'm in S+ but the highest I've gotten is S+7. It's really hard to hang up here when you keep jumping between weapons and I haven't tried to attempt X rank just yet because of it. I also haven't managed to top 5% a challenge yet so I only have my top 20% on that so far. I really want to be able to put all 3 top 5%s on my banner soon though. The only thing that doesn't really fit is that I'm committed to weapons until they hit target goals. Right now I use a handful of weapons (some weapons i only like using in certain modes so I have a backup weapon for the other modes that I work on at the same time) until those weapons hit 4 stars and then switch. So at this point I'm using each weapon for about a week or so. Sometimes less if I have more time to dedicate.
I have over a thousand hours in Splat3, and the vast majority of those hours have been with the Splatana Wiper and I even have the golden badge, yet I'm still dog doodoo at the game...
I'd say I'm a mix of a casual (I will go for good looking gear but still make sure it has good chunks) variety (still no five star after 500 or so hours) and tryhard (I don't actually feel that I fit into most of this description, but I tilt more easily than I'd like to admit...)
You forgot about the thrower. Who only stays at base spinning.
The Beakon?
We call that person the no lifer thrower is too nice
they’re the chaotic evil version of the squid partier
Now I’d appreciate if they did that in mid since it can drag in and occupy the enemy team but what’s that gonna do in base?
We’re down a player and if any of our teammates join him, we’ll lose!
HEY! thats my 7 year old and shes trying her best 😂
i'm a mix of the salmon run and the person who can't commit. Despite having 860 hours in the game, i still am 200k freshness points away from getting my first 5 star weapon, but i'm happy that way
Same!!! Salmon Run 4 lyfe!!
I'm actually a mix of pretty much every type you mentioned. I'm super competive and worked my way up to S+10, and stick to my main. I dress for fashion, but I also put the correct gear on my clothes.

What’s your main?
@@WitheredBonnie6408 Z+F Splat Charger, and the original Splat Charger but only for tower control. Both unscoped.
I'm definitely a casual. As you were describing it especially the part about outfits based on appearance though I have taken that a step above and made a bunch of characters with different appearances both in terms of outfits and customisation.

I'm the one who mains Big Swing Express and Flingza Rollers trying to spam the ultimate more than anything.

The saddest part is when you fit in neither of these types of player categories 💀
For me, I’m 100% a casual player: maybe I have a bit of Salmon Runner in me but even then I’m casual in that-
I just like vibin’
Also I do care about fashion and what abilities are tied to them, not that that matters lol
New Players having the “protecc” status is like people in Sky: CotL loving Moths (Moths is fandom term of New Player)
I went from New Player to Casual to Tryhard (but backing out if I got a migraine which lasts like two days), then I went to Salmon Runner most of the time. Currently wanting to help new players by sticking to Go-Getter since I found little fun struggling in keeping EVP all the time.
I don’t personally understand being too committed to one weapon because I am polyamorous with my weapons in comparisons 😂

One day I'll feel like a salmon runner

I'm a salmon runner for sure (both gold badges for the events). I'm also a hardcore splat dualie user
Normal people: "How do you not get bored of exclusively using a single weapon?"
Me (probably autistic): "Because this is the one I'm skilled with... if I switch off it, I underperform. And doing well at the video game is kinda where my fun comes from."
In retrospect... what I just said was pretty much just a rephrasing of the arguments made in the video.

I loved playing the og splatoon when it first came out because there was mainly turf war, no salmon runs meaning that everybody who played that game, has at least played turf war once. I absolutely think that splatoon was one of the most best games on Wii U but that’s just me
And how can we not forget about spawn campers who will literally position themselves & wait until the player has landed and will immediately take them down with a roller or with a charger.
casual + commited player here. you can pry the custom jr. out of my cold dead hands
SAME
I'm definitely intimidated by anarchy...
Good to know someone will protect me in the next splatfest!
I’m pretty much the salmon runner but I’m also extremely uncommitted and intimidated by regular battles and anarchy battles…
I’m chaos itself I have way too many weapon badges am a heavy slayer S+20 have Evp 200 love fashion and abilities and have a cool splashtag and locker
“The player that’s too committed” *starts talking about yourself in 3rd person* LOL
Nah there's other people who are as insane as me about their weapons trust 🙏
i'm a mix of the not committed and too committed types
i can't decide on a main weapon and keep switching between the ones i'm good at
but i'm too committed to a gear set and splashtag so i have to keep the gear set good for every weapon i play which is a bit hard lol
I’m a mix of too commited and pro
Luckily Last Ditch Effort and Swim Speed Up are useful with almost every weapon! I use them in my hat and shoes (keep utility subs like quick super jump and ink resistance up in the sub slots) so I really usually change the shirt! So I guess I'm committed to a set but I have room for flexibility in there.
In Splatoon two, I only played a roller then and Splatoon three I only played roller until Kraken roller became a not so good weapon anymore so now I’m drifting into trying out more weapons and stuff. I mainly use a very basic shooter weapon that has a shockwave special
I see, so I’m a casual story mode player who can’t commit, fun!
You really explained me with casual lol. I’m also the player who’s too committed and salmon runner. I’m like 1/4th of the ??? because I am “Alternan Wall”
It's so fun to change titles!
I used "Wahoo-World Shield" for the first Big Run which took place in that map.
Also "Inkopolis Square's Blade of grass" (DLC when???)
But my favorite title combo is "Lost-and-Found Lead" which is the title that I use when I play Anarchy (pretty fitting for what Anarchy is, methinks!)
@@HeartAce59 I became "Mahi-Mahi Resort Lucky Duck" after losing 2 100x battles in the same fest there
I'm totally the indecisive one I cannot for the life of me decide what gear, gear abilities, locker, splashtag, or weapon I want to main. I've probably spent more time tinkering with my locker or contemplating what gear I want with which abilities than actually playing the game.
"If they could marry their weapon they would"
Heavy splatling my beloved-
I'm am a hybrid of the person who can't commit and the ??? That is me lol
Too committed to blobber, but those salmon ain't gonna run themselves.
She just described my sweaty salmon run existence... my god, extremely accurate... Nice fun vid btw! :)
I'm def the casual and non committed type. I have like 7 Weapons at 4 stars, yet I love playing every weapon, especially during the first month of a new season.
I am a:
- Casual player: I do love Splatfest and Turf War. Still a bit cautious of Anarchy battles, they are a bit intimidating. As for weapons, I did stick to one recommended weapon for a long, long time before I had the courage to try something else.
I also freaking love customizing things, especially my character and locker. But I have worn some ugly clothes just to fill up the slots and scrap them for abilities for a while (I don’t do that anymore, it’s too tedious to do)
- Story Mode player: I completed all of Alterna and have 13 Splatoon Amiibos so far.
Edit 2: I can provide some examples in the comments under this post if someone is curious about what my in game clothes and weapon combos look like.
im allergic to commitment. there are so many weapons that i play, my sendou build tab is becoming an issue
4:19 this called me out HARD
I think the best splash tag I’ve seen is “funny cat ⬇️” with the arrow pointing at a judd badge
I'm between casual and committed. I love chargers and making my character and locker look fun. Squid parties are awesome too.
For me I just love ranked just ranked and get upset when my teammates forget about the objective.
I for sure fit the last 2.
I only play brush or occasionally Luna blaster I can pop off or throw hard.
casual and salmon runner!!! i used to be such a tryhard in splatoon 2 but idk i feel like i’m so bad at splat 3 👀 just hit level 30 the other day and i’ve had the game since launch
I’m definitely the player who can’t commit. I say I main nautilus (which is my most played weapon) but it’s only 4 stars. Also the thing about having a bunch of holographic stickers on the locker is 100% true 😂
the one whos not committed
the front of my locker is full of the holographic stickers
and i never know what weapon to use
when playing
I dont really fit into any of those
I am somewhere between "casual" and "committed" (honestly, I change my outfit depending on the actual real life weather, so in summer, I wear t-shirts, in autumn I wear stuff like hoodies and sweaters and in winter I wear coats, lol).
I'm the salmon runner. I have both top 5% badges and 999 EVP on every stage. My locker is also exclusively salmon run themed and I have trophies from every Big Run so far
I feel so incredibly called out... having a weapon crisis since splat 1
I’m storymoder and salmonrunner😭😭😭
You did not need to call me out like that with salmon run💀
I am the Too Committed Squiffer player and not ashamed of it! I never get bored as the Squiffer requires you to adapt all the time.
I am definitely a mix of a casual player and someone who committed too much. Don't care about meta, don't care about rank, got one amazing set of clothes and stuck with it, play only Flingza roller and absolutely refuse to go other way around because this is a playstyle that I enjoy and having fun with. AND ALSO I HAVE COOL LOCKER WITH A BUNCH OF STICKERS ON IT-
I felt so attacked when u described a person that couldn't commit cuz i related to every point🤣 i love this video cuz ur so right abt every player
i have graduated from being try hard and getting frustrated with myself for not being better and now i’m a proud casual 👍
I know of another type that falls between casual and tryhard/pro
I call it "challenger"; wants to be the best version they can of how they naturally play. Someone who wants to be good at the game but isn't going to sacrifice fun for it.
You forget the painting only when they focus on painting instead of kills
Uncommitted Salmon Runner for me
Idk I just can't find a weapon for me.
Options I recommend:
-Tentatek Splattershot has basically the Wasabi kit but with Triple Inkstrike instead of Inkstrike.
-Splatana Wiper also doesn’t share a kit with your weapons, but it’s one of the better frontline weapons currently and is just fun to play (Torpedo is a good substitute for Autobomb due to sharing a focus on location seeking and distracting the target)
If any of these sound appealing, then give them a try! They’ll likely feel slightly off for the first couple matches, but once you get into a flow with it, they could turn out to be a new main. (And if I may, I personally recommend the Slosher Deco, not because it’s super similar to these weapons but just because it’s one of the most fun weapons to master in my opinion)
You just got a new sub. You are awesome and I can’t wait to see what more you have planned for the future
Thank you!
I’m a mix of salmon runner, the unknown one,and casual but!it’s not about how cool my outfit looks it’s about gear and style
“Casual i am… nuts I am not”
-Yoda-
2024
At 2:23, haha let's go! Something silimar that my physics teacher say in high school.😂
I do not care about ranked, don't even look at it, I'm just trying to have fun.
casual and too committed. once i find a weapon im comfortable with i never let it go
Yup, I'm a casual... well, a cross between a casual and Salmon Runner.
i think im a mix of the casual, salmon run and the ???, but mostly the ??? for sure
I fall between "casual" and "pro/competitive"
like I mostly play Open/Series for fun. but I do care to a great extent about playing good with my main and my gear is optimized
I didn’t even know splash-o-matic was meta until recently, it was my main in splatoon 2 and for some of splatoon 3 😭
Im a mix of a casual and too committed/ tryhard player ( The Old timer player, if you will,)
Recently ive come out of X and im slowly getting worse due to life being more demanding and having less time to play splatoon then i used to
Im going to B+ and im branching out to all the weapons class and I like where im going and hopefully i can get back good into X with 2400 one day
I’m the one who gets weekly obsessions with a weapon and then after that week I do terrible and do great with a new random weapon
I think im too commited to snipers.... 5 star e liter 4k scope,4 star normal e liter, 4 star splatterscope
dunno what the mix of the Tryhard and the Casual Players would be called if they were fused together but I think that's me
I guess I fall into the "too committed" category mostly, ha ha.
Mix of a few here
Casual to Tryhard (seriously I tilt way too easily, it's a problem)
Storymode (What made me realize I might prefer single player games a little more at this point in my life)
Salmon Run (The one mode I don't feel awful losing)
No Commitment (Love my Splatlings, but variety is the spice of life)
Ive had splatoon for a week with my switch lite (also for a week), and the first one described me in the beginning lol
I’m a mix of casual and story mode player but go part try hard during splatfests
Sometimes less if I have more time to dedicate.
i cannot stick to a single weapon because i get bored of it and i swap inklings all the time lol you got me XD
I'm the kind of player to disguise myself as a new player (ie wearing the starting gear and changing my splash tag)
I have over a thousand hours in Splat3, and the vast majority of those hours have been with the Splatana Wiper and I even have the golden badge, yet I'm still dog doodoo at the game...
I'm a casual, I played for 6 Months now and exclusively play Turf War because I just don't enjoying playing the Ranked Modes. ESPECIALLY Tower Control
I'd say I'm a mix of a casual (I will go for good looking gear but still make sure it has good chunks) variety (still no five star after 500 or so hours) and tryhard (I don't actually feel that I fit into most of this description, but I tilt more easily than I'd like to admit...)
“The player who can’t commit “ it’s me lol
