I honestly didn’t know what to call it, Jokermode just sounds perfect for how I play lol At first it’s like I’m just playing, then I get into Aggressive “BloodThirsty” mode, which is just me going in and battling/trying to invade the enemy base, or at least play the objective and depending on how well the match is going, for this case, say it goes bad, I’m just the rager (tho I don’t really get too mad, but a lot of times just really annoyed to a point where I get mad) Which literally gets to a point where I’m like Raiden Stabbing himself to go “Rippermode” Or as you so lovingly called it “Jokermode” which I like the ring to it almost better, and I’m just out here thinking “Rip and Tear” and get the Doom Music Rolling and pop out with a crab tank or Reefslider and just invade their base as much as possible and terrorize them, ESPECIALLY THE SNIPERS, idk, I just end up bullying snipers a little too much lol, but I can’t fix my aim enough to kill someone right in front of me lol Yes, this is long, you HAD the choice to not read it
The "booyah for good luck" spoke to me. Splatoon would be terrible without that down arrow on the left joy-con. But I'm mostly a *one-trick* with splat roller😂
To be fair regarding the "Nintendoomer," they probably didn't want to get left behind when the playerbase moved on to Splatoon 3. In other words, they were essentially dragged into the game kicking and screaming.
Never played Splatoon in a while, but back when I was on Splatoon 2 I was a Feeder(though I tried not to be), and a Kensa Octobrush One trick. I LOVED Blasters and Rollers when I started, then Chuggaconroy enlightened me on the Octobrush's power and I was hooked ever since. Also, totally the Special Spammer-but come on, it feels AWESOME to wreck everyone around me with a giant hammer!
I picked up the dark tetra dualies back in splatoon 2 and ever since I only have 3 weapons in my splatoon 3 inventory: splattershot jr, hero shot, and dark tetra dualies. Just something about forcing snipers out of their spots and putting extra pressure during fights with autobombs just sold me instantly.
Honestly, me it was the Ballpoint Nouveau and Custom Squelchers that I picked up and fell in love with. Hell, the Squelchers is what helped me beat Girl Power by making me learn how to use dualies!
@@philippeleprohon4823 Funny coincidence. I was a hardcore tetra guy but I just fell in love with the ballpoint. Now there are 2 holofoil weapons on my locker.
The reg dualies are my main weapon and when I tried this, I had more success with just the bombs then the weapon cause the dodge rolls feel more elegant than the reg dualies
Im probably a little bit of a feeder, but I typically have the most ground painted and enemies splatted at the end of a round with my bloblobber so I feel like that more than makes up for it.
Here’s a piece of advice with the baby jelly rush for the middle and give the jelly as little space as possible to put cards down and you should start winning and the rick roller is probably also a newbie who hasn’t figured the flicks out yet
my go-to weapon will always be the Splat Dualies. I didn't like them that much in 2, but in 3 they're just perfect. the range, the power, the suction bombs, the Crab Tank, everything just feels perfect.
Another type I would add is the “ability farmer.” I’ve spent so long talking to Merch, playing Salmon Run, and luckily I got 10 chunks of each from the shellout machine.
I’d also add “The photographer” Their album already has 100 pics of various stuff from lil buddy vibin, to deep cut doing their thing, to a selfie with the squid sisters, or various inklings and octolings wandering around the square. Their twitter and splatnet are possibly also chock full, and some may even be edited to look fancy via apps like line camera.
don't forget the classic "inking every corner" player, the one who spends the whole match making sure there isn't a spot uninked at spawn and thus making the actual players fight a 3v4 :/
I don’t rage normally.. but when your trying to win for your team in a Splatfest and there’s that stupid gal/roller/inkbrush/splatling that won’t stop base invading.. it gets annoying..
I found two that really fit me. I'm BloodThirsty And Also A Feeder. I know it's really strange but it's because I'm always after people and the ending point for me is... well dying. Sometimes ending an entire team or just dying in the end... And I love it because who doesn't have a bit of chaos now and then.
Im sorta mixed on it, I don't charge in a straight line(swimming behind people stops me from being shot), but also I'm not exactly good at aiminf, but I will also regularly get double and sometimes triple kills
I used to be the bloodthirsty octobrusher in two, but in three I completed the story mode with probably the bare minimum of levels before ANY online play
Absolutely the Completionist. I didn't touch multiplayer until I finished story mode, which took like 2-3 days (and I totally love it!) I feel like I'm also the Bloodthirsty Battler sometimes because of how many splats I tend to get in matches :') I swear splatting isn't the only thing I ever do Maybe sort of the Clipper too? I make a lot of clips, but not to a super drastic amount 🤔 I'm also by all means the Splat Lover. I like to have an optimistic and positive attitude towards this game :]
This has actually been helpful for seeing what type of player I am and changing the bad things, I watched this vid and realized I was a feeder, so I decided to use hiding and squid roll more and I’ve gotten a lot better at the game😊
there's a type of feeder I'd call a "homing missile"- they zoom out into the map with the goal of slamming into and killing the first enemy teammate they see then they expire 2 seconds later either from a double KO or getting picked off by the rest of the enemy team. I notice them a lot, they tend to have sploosh-o-matics.
Me as the Completionist: You haven't truly completed the campaign until you beat every level with every weapon option, what all it does is gives me a tick next to each weapon option in the level select
@@isaiahleach4078 why did you mention this, I have spent three days completing every weapon in the new story mode. Why did you have to bring this up, I thought that maybe they didn't do anything like with the new one. I have already beaten inner agent three but not completed it with every weapon. Now since I know of this little background change, if I left even a tenticle behind I don't know what I'd do
I used to be the base invader but I've kinda morphed into the statue I generally play defensive and stay on the back end of the team spreading my focus around a specific area (usually somewhere in the middle but still close to spawn where the campers like to hide) to give my team an easy jump spot and keep campers out and I'll slowly move forward as the match progresses, sometimes taking my old base invader and sat chaser role up if we need a push.
Yup I am the one trick. I only use the splash o matic for almost every mode. Before I got that weapon I only ever used the splat dualies. I also tend to be the statue in the anarchy modes.
There’s also « The targeter » that when you kill him will do everything to only aims at you to get the last laugh, it’s a bit like the taunter but way worse ( even if your at your base chilling)
i'm the feeder lol that's what happens when you either matched against newbs and think you're invincible or suddenly matched against players much better so I just end up having no plan and wing it.
I’m horrible at the game, but it’s so fun playing with friends. I get so happy when I get a team wipe or manage to wiggle out of a tough situation. I always like using my specials, but sometimes I panic and forget what my buttons do 😰
Being a semi-pro modern Tetris player, you would *think* I’d be the Tableturf Specialist, but the two are very different in terms of gameplay and mechanics lmao. If anything I’m more of an aggressive player/the one guy who’s constantly pushing towards the other base edit: I guess you could also count me as a sploosh One Trick
Uhm i might be the most basic one trick ever, but damn do i love the splattershot. The combo with suction bombs and the trizooka just feels perfect to me.
I tried to be a one trick with the Ballpoint but I started using other weapons like Tetras and Dynamo more frequently. And in a PB, I rickrolled my friend with a crab tank
In 2, the day I picked up the Ballpoint Nouveau was the day that sealed my fate as a backliner/support, especially since I only go for kills when people go in our half.
7:30 another good example of Party Pooper is killing all the opponents, destroying the squid beckons, and then your teammates start spraying you with ink, the others join in, you Ngyes/Woomy/Oomi/Veemo, then the opponent comes, splats you, then everyone squidbags (this is a recap of what happened to me)

I am a mix of The Completionist and The Clipper. 100% Completing Splatoon is always a fun thing that I like to do. I usually do photos and videos in Mario games, New Horizons and Splatoon on Occasion. This name is just another Shiver fan.
I am mix of 3; the Booyah Bestie, The Pacifist and the Camper. But I think the story mode completer is my main because I finished the whole entire story mode in 1 day (6 hours)
XD not me being a mix of "the one trick" "the Rick roller" and "the squid party squad" I picked up my roller the second I could afford it and that's the only weapon I use, I'm sorry but rolling over people is the funniest shit ever, and I always try to get everyone in the lobby to party with me in-between matches, it's so much fun 😊
Definitely a One-Trick and Squid Party Squad. I love my Roller and don't want to bother with learning anything else, and there's nothing I like better than jumping up and down in octo form between matches.
Probably a mix of statue and special spammer with a teeny tiny hint of rageaholic BUT mostly only at chargers that will aim for one of my teammates and then instantly flick kill me without any issue like the heck, you were paying attention to the others, why god flick me all the sudden over the ones aiming at you?
Booyah Bestie here! I'll cheer you on when we've done a good push, wiped the other team, saved you from an opponent (and vise versa-thank you, teammate), taken lead in Ranked, completed a good/stressful wave of Salmon run; or if I have just done something dumb like dodge rolling off the map or failing to realize it's high tide and drowning before the wave begins.
I'm the weapon main, and partier. Ever since I started, I always Squidbagged in the lobby, and recently started jumping simultaneously. And once I got the Dualie Squelchers, they have never left my weapon slot.
I would definitely say I'm a combination of the camper, the bloodthirsty, and the booyah bestie. I would say I'm a one trick but I definitely switch around my mains relatively often. So far I've mained splattershot, aerospray, n-zap, and splash-o-matic, and am currently maining the bloblobber as it allows me to be an absolute pest to the opposing team. With the bloblobber, my play strategy is 100% "if the enemy isn't cursing me and my entire bloodline by the end of the match, I'm doing something wrong." (all in good fun though, no harm intended to anyone)
Definitely a salmon run warrior. Happy little worker 24/7 mix just plays in my head constantly. My locker is covered in the salmon run stickers, too. Someday when I'm old and gray, I'll finally have saved up enough scales for one of those cool golden salmon run banners, too.
Sometimes it’s worth being the base invader. When I see an opportunity to head the enemy base, even if I’ll just end up dying, it would probably be worth it in the long run. Especially if the timer is down to like 30 seconds or less. No regrets XD
Im a fusion of Splat Lover, Statue, Sqid Party Squad, Assassin, Fashionista, Salmon Run Soldier, Completionist, Invader, Bloodthirsty Battler, Camper and a little piece of Rage.
Besides being the tetris tabletop man (gotta get those specials to slam them on the last turn) I am also very guilty of being a one trick Octobrush. I use other weapons from time to time for kicks, but using a brush probably 95٪ the time I'm not in Grizco
I think I’m a mix of a couple of these things- The Booyah Bestie, Fashionista, and One trick (filthy splatana wiper main. Picked it up one day and literally haven’t used any other weapon since)
You forgot "Obsessive Compulsive Inker": I ink everything that can be inked, being sure to hit the tiny less-than-five-point box tops. Everything in my base, everything in my ENEMIES base, and everything in the middle along the way. Booyah!
I remember when you Booyah to say "Thank you." When you get saved by a teammate and they Booyah back to say "Your welcome." But those were Splatoon 1 days, sadly.😮💨
I'm a mix of blood thirsty, feeder, and base invader. But that's usually because I have a bad habit of acting as the annoyance that people focus on in hopes my teammates can focus on other areas while I distract/annoy the enemy (has worked a couple of times). I only deviate when I notice it's not working and others are congregating into the congestion area. I used to be the camper back in Splatoon 2 and mained a roller. Also kind of one trick (I tend to gravitate to melee or close-mid range weapons) and sort of completionist (there's only one stage alternative I haven't finished and rage quit for the time being). Also if I see a squid party I will join.
Honestly a big ole base invader. I be throwing my subs to ink even the smallest amount of enemy home base turf, using movement specials to get intimate with your spawn and feel SUPER guilty when the rest of my team shows up and are basically spawn camping.
I am definitely parts of Assassin, Rick Roller, One Trick and others... but as a Base Roller main with over 250 wins, I fit into a group called: Keep Rolling, you don't stop rolling unless you gotta get ink, flick to kill or throw a curling to move faster. Also you are willing to head on collide with another Keep Rolling player and end up both dead.
Completionist, booyah bestie, and splat lover. I barely touched the online until I beat story mode (including the secret kettle), and I always like to booyah at the start of a match and whenever a teammate helps me out or splats the player that just splatted me
Advice for tableturf battles from a tableturf pro: Always try to advance first. Wait to fill out your own space until after youve blocked off your opponent. Also try to only have like 2 cards with 3 or less space because your main goal is to take space and block your opponent from taking yours.
Booyah Bestie, sometime Feeder (as much as I hate to admit it), part-time Salmon Run Soldier, Tableturf Struggler, Fashionista, aspiring Locker Legend, Squid Party Squad, Taunter, and of course, Splat Lover. Every once in a while I slip into Rageaholic, but not as often as I did in Splat2.
I'd consider myself a Movement Master not because I'm an expert on the new movements (Squid Roll is still a foreign concept to me) but because I main the Inkbrush, so my specialty is _fast._ I can never sit still for too long, and I get #1 Ground Traveler unusually often. I think Base Invaders are sometimes a good thing because if you can slip past them, you can try to ink _their_ base before they eventually get splatted, respawn, and target you. I sometimes become a Base Invader on accident because I'm always running to the nearest spot that needs to be inked, which is sometimes enemy base.
31:the base inker. They make posts telling people to ink the base and spend half the game there making sure it's perfect. Not helping in any way so the enemy team pushes forward and you lose by a landslide.
I'm the squid beacon user that has three mains of sub power up to get my team back in the game faster and then rages when they jump to me instead. Jump to my beacons. They are usually hidden in a way that in order for the opponent to camp it, they would need to be close enough to it that they would show up on the map. So you know if it's safe or risky. But with three mains of sub power up on squid beacons lets you jump there soooo quickly
I’m probably a party pooper because every time I see a squid party in my games I go “NUH UH NOT ON MY WATCH” *then proceeds to splat all the enemies with his ink brush*
So I am a mix of a Booyah Bestie, a Completionist, an assassin, a fashionista, a squid party squad member, a splat lover, a one trick (Inkbrush, especially the Nouveau), a tableturf "specialist" and also a former movement master? Neat.

Yes, this is long, you HAD the choice to not read it
Oml, YES. This is 100% how I play with my brush. >:3
I'm always Jokermode, no matter what game.
I like to think I’m a mix between casual and bloodthirsty. Usually I’m just having fun but there’s moments I take out three in a row by some miracle 😂
Yep

Facts
Me, rocking my 0 star Red High-Horses:
The "booyah for good luck" spoke to me. Splatoon would be terrible without that down arrow on the left joy-con.
But I'm mostly a *one-trick* with splat roller😂
To be fair regarding the "Nintendoomer," they probably didn't want to get left behind when the playerbase moved on to Splatoon 3. In other words, they were essentially dragged into the game kicking and screaming.
This is relateable 💀
Lmao
is that anger on your thing
I played clear dapple dulies in 2 but in 3 I’m loving the splattershot
@@futurehistoryarchaeologist4480 Nice!
I do it to anyone not paying attention.
Yep, when i was new, I had NO idea how to flick.
my go-to weapon will always be the Splat Dualies.
I’d also add “The photographer”
Their album already has 100 pics of various stuff from lil buddy vibin, to deep cut doing their thing, to a selfie with the squid sisters, or various inklings and octolings wandering around the square. Their twitter and splatnet are possibly also chock full, and some may even be edited to look fancy via apps like line camera.
@@LOVE-iv2pw oh yes, I have so many screenshots lol! Keep telling myself these pics are for reference later when I decide to (attempt) to draw them
don't forget the classic "inking every corner" player, the one who spends the whole match making sure there isn't a spot uninked at spawn and thus making the actual players fight a 3v4 :/
The editing in this is CLEAN! Hope the algo will bless you 🙏
Yay, Hi Mess
@@DTgamer_Shiver-is-best-waifu hey!
Im sorta mixed on it, I don't charge in a straight line(swimming behind people stops me from being shot), but also I'm not exactly good at aiminf, but I will also regularly get double and sometimes triple kills
its giving quick respawn :D
Watch the Part TWO of this video (Splatfest Edition) here: ua-cam.com/video/cN4duTUgLBM/v-deo.html
Already did :D
my loadout is full swim speed
I used to be the bloodthirsty octobrusher in two, but in three I completed the story mode with probably the bare minimum of levels before ANY online play
I'm definitely the Assasin and Clipper. You called my storage and I JUST bought a new storage card too
Absolutely the Completionist. I didn't touch multiplayer until I finished story mode, which took like 2-3 days (and I totally love it!) I feel like I'm also the Bloodthirsty Battler sometimes because of how many splats I tend to get in matches :') I swear splatting isn't the only thing I ever do
Maybe sort of the Clipper too? I make a lot of clips, but not to a super drastic amount 🤔
I'm also by all means the Splat Lover. I like to have an optimistic and positive attitude towards this game :]
i only 100%'ed story mode cuz i didn't have online ( I classify as a Booyah Bestie )
The similarities in between us are insane. I’m the exact same lol
These were all really hilarious. The Squid Party one was definitely hilarious
In OE it would give the background of the map a new pattern but it was so worth it for bragging rights
Definitely Completionist and One Trick for me. Splatoon 3 is my first entry into the series, but loving the energy so far!
Missed the chance to call The Salmon Run Soldiers: Happy Little Workers
i'm the feeder lol
that's what happens when you either matched against newbs and think you're invincible or suddenly matched against players much better so I just end up having no plan and wing it.
If anything I’m more of an aggressive player/the one guy who’s constantly pushing towards the other base
edit: I guess you could also count me as a sploosh One Trick
sploosh is the most fun weapon in the game no cap
@@theone.whoasked it is, kinda triggering when grinding out in turf war/rainmaker tho

Salmon Run Soldier
Fashionista
Squid Party Squad
Splat Lover
2:25 - Partially Me.

3:53 - So true.
One time this clash blaster squidbagged me... he kinda died 10 seconds later by my hands.
Uhm i might be the most basic one trick ever, but damn do i love the splattershot. The combo with suction bombs and the trizooka just feels perfect to me.
I'm slowly morphing into a One Trick. Brella is fun, Brush is fun, but nothing will ever separate me from my Heavy Splatling.
Yes!
Addendum: Tri-Stringer is also fun, I just suck at aiming for some reason.
@@jacobdagun3670 Splatana and N Zap is fun too.
I tried to be a one trick with the Ballpoint but I started using other weapons like Tetras and Dynamo more frequently. And in a PB, I rickrolled my friend with a crab tank
Please PLEASE tell me more I need the story bro
@@TazukeiOtakai about trying to be a ballpoint one trick or in general?
@@terretro3623 the Crab Tank trick thing, i must know how this legendary rickroll of a move was executed
@@TazukeiOtakai oh that lol. Pretty annoying to do. You have to be in ball form and roll them over three times

23: ✖ what's wrong with having a little fun? :<
24: ✖ not that skilled with a roller to simply splat someone flat with it whilst casually walking yet. 🙃
25: - yes for the getting every clip, no for the posting it online bit.
26: ✖ with everything happening at once, the last thing I'd do is stay in place.
27: - only if at my broiling point. (Which is rarely unlike last game.)
28: ✖...though my best friends got some great examples 🙃
29: ✖ literally can't find a reason for that -3-

Im litterally this one
Im named, get this “iOS 5.1”
I am a mix of The Completionist and The Clipper. 100% Completing Splatoon is always a fun thing that I like to do. I usually do photos and videos in Mario games, New Horizons and Splatoon on Occasion. This name is just another Shiver fan.
i'm definetly a fashionista, weapon picker and 110% grizzco worker
I am mix of 3; the Booyah Bestie, The Pacifist and the Camper. But I think the story mode completer is my main because I finished the whole entire story mode in 1 day (6 hours)
XD not me being a mix of "the one trick" "the Rick roller" and "the squid party squad"
I picked up my roller the second I could afford it and that's the only weapon I use, I'm sorry but rolling over people is the funniest shit ever, and I always try to get everyone in the lobby to party with me in-between matches, it's so much fun 😊
First time I've come across your channel. Awesome video! Editing is on point. You seem fun. And you have an epic accent. Doesn't get much getter, lol
Definitely a One-Trick and Squid Party Squad. I love my Roller and don't want to bother with learning anything else, and there's nothing I like better than jumping up and down in octo form between matches.
I love how everyone has Rusty in their lobby
YES JAS YOU HAVE A VIRAL VIDEO WHY AM I SO PROUD
I can't believe it!!! You've been here for a while, thank you :)
I loved this video, it' so relatable lol
I'm definitely the Salmon Run soldier 💸
Same. I always end up saying every loadout is worse than the last even though my rank is somewhat stable at profreshional +2
I’m definitely a movement fanatic, maybe not master lol! I’m constantly using squid roll, and I would hate to not be allowed to!

6:53 Ah yes, Rusty. The person who waited 152 days for their Pearl plush to be delivered. :)
Thanking the algorithm for blessing me with this high quality splat content rn 🙏
I'm definitely assassin and battler. Learned how to be sneaky just to do well with brush and roller.
I'm the weapon main, and partier. Ever since I started, I always Squidbagged in the lobby, and recently started jumping simultaneously. And once I got the Dualie Squelchers, they have never left my weapon slot.
I’m the kind of person to switch what weapon you use every match because I want to find one
I’m the “pretend to start a squid party, get the entire enemy team to join, and then let my team ink the area” kinda player
Sometimes it’s worth being the base invader. When I see an opportunity to head the enemy base, even if I’ll just end up dying, it would probably be worth it in the long run. Especially if the timer is down to like 30 seconds or less. No regrets XD
Great for distracting the enemies tbh
I love how every time you say “angry” the screen turns red with an unsettling sound 2:27
3:30 this was literally just me because i didn't want to be spoiled, and i'm glad i didn't get spoiled
For the camper if you have any type of duelie if you seen the person you jumped to die on the map immediately dash
this is pretty off topic but i cry when i hear ebb & flow. i love octo expansion.
6:02 that’s a weird way to spell reef lux
I used that weapon a lot
I think I’m a mix of a couple of these things- The Booyah Bestie, Fashionista, and One trick (filthy splatana wiper main. Picked it up one day and literally haven’t used any other weapon since)
Once was playing salmon run the next wave, ran into a guy named Big Mac, it’s something I’ll never forget.
I'm definitely the newbie, booyah bestie and squid party
Here to learn to play and have a blast doing it
Completionist, booyah bestie, and splat lover. I barely touched the online until I beat story mode (including the secret kettle), and I always like to booyah at the start of a match and whenever a teammate helps me out or splats the player that just splatted me
Advice for tableturf battles from a tableturf pro:
Always try to advance first. Wait to fill out your own space until after youve blocked off your opponent. Also try to only have like 2 cards with 3 or less space because your main goal is to take space and block your opponent from taking yours.
The best thing is when you have a party in the lobby and then the party friends all have a truce and just vibe mid battle
Heck yeah Booyah Besties!!! 2:08 is me!
@♡milkshake_123☆ booyah!
Lol
Wait, I can play other things than just Salmon Run?
So I am a mix of a Booyah Bestie, a Completionist, an assassin, a fashionista, a squid party squad member, a splat lover, a one trick (Inkbrush, especially the Nouveau), a tableturf "specialist" and also a former movement master?
Neat.
I’m a bloody thirsty person, but I’m not like all the others!
