I never intended to finish this series all at once, but neither did I plan to wait such a long time in between designs either. Next in the series may be blue although I'm not sure as I've done no other testing to speak of.
(I initially read the Fifty Shades trilogy just to see what all the hubbub was about ... sometimes it's really strange to me what books become so popular. My opinion, if you're curious: they're just OK. It was difficult for me to adjust to the writer's style at first, she phrases things in a way I consider awkward, but it got better as I went along or I just got used to it. Not the best books I've ever read by a long shot but worth a look if you want something with lots of sexy bits.)
►Nail polish (darkest to lightest) and products used◄
-Base coat (of your choice)
-Finger Paints - Meet Me at the Met

-Seche Vite Fast Dry Top Coat: amzn.to/1K9HQUE
-5 oz paper cup: amzn.to/1MFYfk5
-Room temperature filtered water
-Orange stick: amzn.to/1U20nmV (or your choice of sharp tool)

-Cleanup brush: amzn.to/1P0lvH9
-Clean up with acetone: amzn.to/1TlzxtI
►Step-by-Step◄
-Start out with clean, dry nails and apply a base coat
-Use Meet Me At the Met as your base color
-In a cup of room temperature, filtered water, build your bullseye using all 6 colors. I used a total of 18 drops but it may vary depending on the polish you use
-Draw in the design with the tip of your orange stick
-Dip you nail(s) into the design
-Clean the top of the water
-Slowly pull your nail out
-Remove tape, clean up around the edges
-Finish with a top coat!

This might be my favorite of the addicted to color water marbles. Such a pretty color combo and I think the "wigglyness" really showed off the colors well

So glad you did this using more then one nail. Most videos show one nail per cup then you have to do the whole thing over. I can sometimes get 5 in a cup and they all look great and different. And, they're gorgeous!

I'm a big SOA fan, have watched it from the beginning, so of course I was disappointed my man "Jax" had to back out. He would have made a great Christian Grey. I absolutely love your tutorials. love the 50 Shades of Grey look on your nails. Your styles are so elegant; not overdone with too many, if any, embellishments. i'm a new subbie, as of this very moment!!

Just what I've been wanting. In the midst of a colorful summer, I've been missing my grays. I was thinking of just doing a simple charcoal gray under a lighter gray (more summery gray, lol) & using nail tape to make random lines of charcoal peeking through. Last week, I did a similar with pale gray under lavender, but I still wanted more gray. I remember everyone & their cat reading the series, but I didn't because from what I gathered from the online talk was that it wasn't for me. Hope you're doing well & enjoying this summer.

I am SO excited to watch the movie 50 shades of grey!! Like omg the books were awesome, but I also heard the movie is gonna be different, which sucks, but I hope it's a good movie! I lived the books. Idk if the 'Christian grey' they have casted is hot enough though like u said. He is cute, but idk about the hotness.

I haven't read Fifty Shades. I really wasn't interested in reading it until I saw the trailer. It interested me enough that I want to see the movie, but the books are usually better so I always have to read them first.
I don't know if you got into Twilight at all, but the same thing happened to me then. I was completely uninterested in the books or movies, until one night around the time Breaking Dawn (the movie) was coming out, I saw Twilight on TV and got sucked in. I then had to read each book and watch each movie on DVD before Breaking Dawn stopped being shown in theaters, because I HAD to see that wedding happen on the big screen. I got lucky...there's one theater in my town that keeps showing movies longer than the rest, and their ticket prices are much cheaper. I got to see BD the week before they stopped showing it lol.
I loved Twilight - even though I only started reading it because a friend bought me a copy of the first book for my birthday after I said I hadn't read them LOL

Love it and love Fifty Shades of Grey. I am obsessed with the book and I feel the casting is perfect. Ana...A.K.A Dakota is perfect. Christian...A.K.A. Jamie is perfect as well. I want to see the film. I am so overly obsessed I look up everything about the book, movie, author, cast, Dakota Johnson....I even obsess over Ana and Christian and want Ana's style and Dakota's style.

I totally agree with you about Christian. The actor is cute but not drop dead gorgeous like I thought or envisioned him to be. I wanted to see what all the hoopla was about so that's why I started reading it. I know they are not going to do it justice because it is just too risque for anything other than an x rated film in my opinion. As regards to your nail design I absolutely love it.

Loved the books , they were perfect in every way , not too sure about the casting though , didn't fit right with me. I love this manicure , not sure how I feel about the lavender though it kind of throws it off but its still cute !!!! ;)

I totally agree on the casting of the characters!! He is no where NEAR sexy enough to play Christian, but Ana is perfect. I think if you maybe didn't read the book then you would think he is ok, but if you read the book then he is really lacking! And btw, I'm just starting to get into water marbling and I LOVE all your tutorials!
The funny thing is I found him really sexy in Once Upon A Time. But the something about their styling of him for the movie is just really mehhhhh, doesn't do Christian justice. ALTHOUGH I will say the shot of him in the infamous jeans is pretty sexy.

Lol about Jamie Doran causing debate in his casting as Christian Grey. In real life he is lovely, I went to University with him, although he left after a year to perdue a modelling career. As for him being Mr Grey. We all have in our imagination a picture of what our Christian Grey would look like so whoever was picked was going to cause outrage.

Love the gray!!! I got the OPI 50 shades of gray and its odd to me that there is a red. I haven't seen the movie or red the book so maybe it makes sense there. What do you think of the OPI collection??

well i did read the books in 3 days and man it was good. but i saw the trailer and i didnt like it at all it look like a rental movie.. but i love this water marble i like how it came out,,
