When Corpus was saying “20 minutes before the stream i was cutting my face with razer blades.”, and “I f*cking hate myself, like deeply.” I felt so bad for him. He doesn’t deserve to go through that. I wanted to put on a blindfold and give him a hug.
I wholeheartedly agree and I really hope things can get better for him someday... Even if it is gradual, it feels like he's been through a lot and I just want to help but I have no clue how it would be possible to. All I can say is I hope his life and health gets better.
It’s something that a small amount of people can sadly relate to (aka me), so him openly going “oh yeah I hurt myself because of my mental illness” n shit is honestly comforting, as bad as that may sound. Like no I may not have cut my own face, but I have definitely sat in my room, gave myself some ✨lines✨ and then 20 min later gone out with friends or something. I wish I could just give him a hug and just like, lay on a roof n watch the stars or something wholesome like that. Lord knows he deserves it.
All seriousness aside, my weebness went “yet another reason he should voice Dabi” cause I mean, dabi’s got scars everywhere, corpse prolly does too based on that information, plus the black hair, the hiding his identity, the wholesome yet kinda menacing vibes, the was hella active and then something out of his control changed everything, and the “I like fucking with the world” and “hopefully I can keep inciting chaos” stuff. And like, corpse’s voice totally fits what Dabi looks like. Like perfectly. I would pay so much money to see that happen.

I always say this! Anyone can have a nice voice, but if you're a jerk and give off bad vibes no one will stay. Corpse's personality Is what made me stay watching his videos and the fact that he's freakin funny as well. I totally get that. Originally I wrote music reviews and noone knew what I looked like. I was a 16 year old w braces and I couldn't even get into a club to see the live music (I'd just get the cds sent to me.).
I film beauty reviews now so I do have to technically be in front of a camera but I can just do the written review if I'm having a rough day (I have lupus/chronic pain).

Man I felt that so hard. I was so angry and lost when my chronic illnesses started. It was awful. My therapist helped so much with that mourning process. I'm starting to get a bit more able to do things I want to do, but on bad days sitting upright longer than a few hours is painful. Other people talking about things like that is really great. Chronic illness is lonely, but we're not alone.

Every interview I see with Corpe Husband makes me feel better about myself and the issues I have. I too have crippling anxiety among other disorderes that make my life alot more difficult that it should be, and that has impacted my life for years. Its comforting to say the least, to know i am not alone.

I remember when i had a really deep voice, its not as deep as Corpse but it was there. I changed my voice to have a higher tone due to the strange reactions i got from just talking naturally deep. I have a voice incredibly close in pitch to corpse's bc I've ALSO had GERD forever + a genetically deep voice, and people compare me to corpse ALL THE TIME but I've learned to ignore it by now
Im a new follower of both Anthony & Corpse, I loved this interview..the compassion shown & real talk of mental health issues is exactly what the world needs to hear.
I feel so much compassion & empathy towards Corpse. This world is a scary place, but Corpse, know that you have reached so many people who may be going through similar situations as you, who are needing someone to follow who understands.

@@bentaylor395 he said that there are no pre-youtube photos of him with his face fully in them, and he doesn't talk to people that he doesn't know so that no one will recognize his voice. i don't think it's inevitable, it seems 50/50 to me. but if anything i think he'll probably reveal his face before anyone gets the chance to leak it.

such an amazing good dude. as someone who has gone through depression multiple times, I can't even imagine experiencing it with the amount of pressure he has to deal with. got to be one of the strongest people ever to be able to experience that situation. Corpse, I don't want to say you're perfect because no-one is perfect but I would like to say that me personally the only thing I'll care about is your health and I want you to be comfortable, I know that's hard with everything going on and I hope with all my heart you get better even though that seems near impossible I want you to be comfortable and I hope you will eventually find a way to live, I wish you can get better with every bit of my being

Corpse is one person who SEVERELY needs to take some kind of break. Maybe he should take a month or two away from his work, and see if he can find a therapist. I really do hope he can find help.

hes probably afraid since he said that his supporters woould leave. I mean he did a take a break that one year because of arms and it took a lot for him to get back cause he was afraid of what would happen.
@@chelseaaudreyy and it's only going to get worse. If he were to take a break, and a bunch of people were to leave, the people who would stay are the people who truly care for him and his work. And besides, even with him going incognito, pushing yourself to work 24/7 only causes you to burn down and crash. My stepdad is the same way. I've seen it happen first hand.

He's taking breaks in the past I think unfortunately he needs more than a break. He's an amazing person and he truly deserves the best and I wish there's something I could do to. Back in the day he took a break for so long because of sicknesses and mental health. But I think with his life it's more than just needing a break.
Dang, when he was talking about his Nerve issues it hit home for me. I've struggled with nerve problems and other chronic pain issues my whole life and really related to it. The pain and not being able to do what you used to be able to do really screws with you. I already related to his mental struggles with anxiety and then I also have severe depression, but then finding out about this on top of it makes me really relate. Not entirely the same experiences but I feel for him.

It sounds horrible to be so scared of people finding out who you are that you can’t even answer the phone or go to the doctor. I really hope he finds a happy medium where he don’t have to worry as much about anything other than his illness :/

That’s anxiety for you, it’s fucking stressful. I get edgy talking to doctors over the phone, I can’t be in big crowds etc. It’s so fucking draining
as someone with anxiety, it really does suck. i can’t even go school half of the time because of all the people and how overwhelming it is, can’t answer the phone or even go shopping, really does suck so i hope the best for corpse
I suffered with anxiety for 5 years until I got therapy and then treated with meds. now 2 years later I’m off meds and feel in control of myself. It takes a lot to just seek for help but it really will save ur life
I have Transverse Myelitis and hearing corpse talk about his issues and being diagnosed really resonated with me. It gets better, I think for me, not knowing that it’s completely incurable for a while, and realising I’ll be deteriorating as I’ll get older is hard. But it doesn’t define you, and it gets better and you’ll learn to cope with it, and there’s always medication to get back your feet.
i respect him so much, he knows better to not show his face because who knows what people will say about him. i just wish him to be happy and to reach his goals. theres nothing wrong with being anonymous and hes been for years so people should just leave him alone and accept what he chooses to do with his life.

I find Corpse to be a fascinating and funny person. I'm very glad I got to watch some of his Among Us videos with the other UA-camrs who helped me through the pandemic. Anthony is becoming one of my favorite interviewers to watch on UA-cam. Thank you for another awesome video.
