Here's my top 3 1-The Last MYF cover seeing everyone grown up makes me cry 2- Ichi the Witch Debut its so petty 3. Kagurabachi first cover I love the how Chihiro and Hakuri look honorable mention Nue's Exorcist cover gives me fighting game vibes for some reason
Yay its out!!! Definitely some great covers this year, didnt notice all the colorful and yellow backgrounds till you pointed them out but yeah thats interesting. Its like how last year they used red a ton, maybe they default to certain colors if the artist doesnt have one in mind. Anyway highlights for me! -the dragon and dance crew group covers are great, the former had some really cute chibis and i like how theres some that break the color mold, and the latter is really fun with how its laid out and you can tell all the artists had fun drawing the outfits -Ichi cover is great, welcome back Usazaki -MHAs final cover is fantastic, i love the softer colors and the shift from green to orange as you go down. Its very serene and contrasts well with the darker colors used in the previous covers from the final arc. Great note to end on, rest well Horikoshi -MYFs final cover is also great, i love that they bookended it with a callback to the first cover because not only does it allow you to see how much the artists grown (Taiyo and Mutsumi look....off in the first one, especially Mutsumis face) and i love the contrast between the firsts harsher colors and the lasts more soft colors and pallets. Its a great note to go out on -Sakamotos TV cover is great, glad im not the only one who got Persona 4 vibes lol -the Elusam timeskip one is beautiful, i love the moon in the background and it makes Tokiyuki look very ethereal, just really pretty great video as always! Im excited to see how the covers for 2025 turn out! (the recent Kagurabachi and Ichi ones were great, and i thought the group cover of everyone as stitched dolls was adorable)
My Little Story on my experience with My Hero Academia's final chapter: I was in Mexico, and for i, unfortunately, I nearly missed Chapter 429 due to slow internet/all night party. Furthermore, there was a all night party with family, THE NIGHT BEFORE THE FINALE! So i truly dedicated to waking up early before 9 A.M., and i walked to a house with internet (i was in a rural area), and I MADE IT! Beautiful satisfaction when i read the finale!
25:53 it’s cool whenever seeing a character that won’t be seen for a bit on early jump/chapter covers, makes me think of how nami is one the first chapter cover of One Piece a dozen or so chapters before she appears
22:57 I remember this one from people being like “lol stupid lame Deku getting pushed out of the magazine 😂” which was really annoying but in a vacuum I thing it’s pretty cool
