A NICE FRIDAY CAMP UP SINKSIDE HILL, A SMALL HILLFORT TYPE HILL WITH GREAT VIEWS. THE WIND DROPPED AND THE SUN CAME OUT TO PLAY, IT DID GET COLD THOUGH SO NOT QUITE SUMMER YET. CAUGHT A LITTLE GLIMPSE OF THE AURORA BUT THE MOON KILLED IT OFF. TESTING THE NEW TENT BIVVY FROM ONEWIND FEEL FREE TO COMMENT ON IT AS ITS IN DEVELOPMENT. ENJOYED THIS. VERY RELAXING FOR A CHANGE, CHECK OUT THE CHANNEL I MENTION

Theres alot of press for the Lake District mountain rescue and alot of mention to idiots being rescued from gulley one on Ben Nevis, our Scottish rescue teams, very little recognition for the Northumberland team covering the 5th biggest national parks over 405 Square miles, great to see it getting so much needed fundi.

Beautiful day and evening there Andy. The one wind tent is good. I've got the Whitehills version of the same tent I bought off Chris. It's a fun tent but as I found out last week, it leaks lol, you said yours was seem sealed then?

Yeah this was a good camp. The shelter is ok. Needs pitching on a level spot though. It was a bit loose here. No porch so if it rains it’ll be a nightmare. Also no room to stash your backpack. So can be improved but that will make it heavier. It’s ok though. Night lapse mode on GoPro. It’s all pre set. Or check UA-cam tutorials. No spooky stuff. Just me scared them off 😂. Atb mate. 👍
