it seems the rear DaylightRunning light wont stay on even with Bimmercode coded them on.
For the V2 style, do they stay on even during the day light with lighting in auto mode?

No you can’t. Honestly I wish we could tho because I’d prefer it like that too
For the inner brake lights(4 scales) to work, you need to connect the long 2 pin black wire from the outer light to the inner light.

What was the reason for choosing red as opposed to the black line?
I like the oem look of the red

No not yet but they are being developed!

Not too sure to be honest I never bought another pair but I know yitomotors has them for about $320!!

V1's look much nicer, cleaner turn signal, clean scales, and startup is more muted.

I agree too! However, safety first in my view therefore the inner breaklight on V2 is much better since you have inner and outer breaklights. V1 is missing the inner breaklight.
I dig them but think they look better on a M3 because of the widebody

I guess you guys in the states don't have this option as standard (if at all) but does it have a rear fog light? It's mandatory where I'm from so I was curious if you knew lol
Yeah they both do the v2 tho the fog light and the reverse light is the same and built in one

my scales don't work when I turn them on. anyway to fix this?
Do they turn on at all? If not maybe something is wrong with the wiring, either you didn’t put them in right or connect them to the right places or it’s the tail lights. I would contact whoever you got them from and ask for their help
Also if you’re talking about them not turning on during the day but they do at night you have to code it into your car so they’re always on. You can code it into your car using bimmer code I believe

Sorry just realized I didn’t answer the question right haha there’s 2 wires one for each side that connects the outer tail light to the inner one for the inner break light to work

Aye I got a 328 so stock is 240 and I got an intake, intercooler, downpipe, running stage 2 it’s just the beginning 😆

They’re anywhere from 650-800 depends on where you get them from and nope no coding needed plug and play

F31 I’m not too sure it seems like they are the same so yes? But I’d do a little bit more research maybe going to a dealer and asking them if the f30 and f31 have the same tail lights?

2nd tail lights have different brightness of drls on trunk and quarter panel.
First one not work properly with turn signals and brake inner part. Products are far from being quality for that price.
Bmw EOM M-performance tail light in 2 times cheaper and works better.
Also, all Chinese/Taiwan tail light have seal issues, after a year of usage you’ll start getting condensation inside the lights.
I made this video almost right when they came out lol and other stores did have them that high priced 😬 they dropped the price after realizing people wouldn’t pay that much for them lmao

The reason why I got these first is because of how much these stand out and not many people have these plus a good way to get a lot of views for the start of my channel haha. Also I have plan for the body of my car hopefully soon to come🤘
