50% people using this bike normally don't go for the proper maintenance stated by the manufacturer. EV fire is still happening after so many new laws implemented.
Those guys who are mocking CNG. Ear this ‘I have been using CNG retrofitted car from 3 yrs.. I can assure CNG is safer than petrol for sure. When I was retrofitting I saw a guy fixing a leaking valve. It was night and power went off. He ignited candle and started working next to it. I was dumb stuck taught of running far enough. I complained and they said this gas won’t ignite like LPG and it needs temperature of higher degree more than petrol and similar to diesel. If not there would be a blast that day. Later on I gained more confidence. I have ridden more than 30k. Never a hitch expect pumps scarcity that too now there is a raise. Bajaj has done a fabulous job and I am impressed how they have hidden the tank and maintained the asthetic of the bike. Wish the tank capacity would had been bit higher. I appreciate them for going in lengths to prove safety. Dumb ppl will never understand. Seriously CNG is fuel of future. I have saved so much that it feels like my CNg car is more economical than my petrol consuming scooter (access)..
There is a difference between testing in a controlled environment vs real life test. Only time will tell if CNG Bikes are safe.
