@Btolbertjr i totally agree. burner to me is one of the most creative and fastest drummers i've ever heard in my life. thomas on the other had is very creative also and i love his chops but these 2 drummer differ and no its not debatable lol. bottom line burner is the best drummer right now. even better that my boy royster.
Yea both of them have amazing chops but ronald digs into the set more kinda like dennis chambers but to me ronald is different breed. i dont know anyone who plays like that
the attacks are clean, sharp and fitting throughout. balanced out in between by (.42-.50, 1.32-1.52); smoothe 'n easy; still that awesome power/technique of his.

Don't compare the drummers style/technique, But Ronald plays with the same energy like Alex Rodriguez from Saosin. Massive muscle force, it's amazing and 'enjoyable. They make the drumming into an exercise and still having fun because the beat the shit out of the drums. Damn, when I see this i wanna go play drums.. but dont got time.. anyone that knows if Ronald has any Rock band he plays with, that has a record?

@Windermarin Ron's Dad was a pro drummer so of course I'm sure Dennis had some form of influence on Bruner Jr. also I wouldn't be surprised if Dennis had some involvement in his life. Heck Ron Jr. calls Will Kennedy his uncle lol....

I def. agree! Tony does more chops, Ron does too, but he has more structure
