I have seen Ronald Bruner Jr. some years ago live in a Jazz Club in Vienna with Lee Ritenour's band and it has been a very impressive experience. This drummer owns an unbelieveable power on his strokes and a precision that is out of this world.
I saw him at the baked potato playing for Scott Kinsey .. there was this backing track loop that you couldn’t hear until they all stopped playing that blew me away they made 4/4 sound like something completely different ..
It may appear to be sloppy but it is the dopest drumming & rhythm keeping I have seen ever in my life! He is sick with it and has his own style and that makes him ill!!
And may i suggest adding Oscar Seaton to this list of Drummerworld & Modern Drummer Magazine..a drummer as amazing as he is with such characteristics and caliber playing with artists such as George Benson,Lee Ritenour,Lionel Richie, etc
@@carbonc6065 nahh they mistitled it, proto cosmos was the 3rd song... the second song was probably “a minute to heal” or whatever they put at the beginning of proto cosmos.

LMAO imagine being literally anyone having to play AFTER Ronald Bruner JR and this goofy guy comes in playing band stuff you might see Nick Cannon doing in the movie Drumline 🤣🤣🤣
Dave dicensos performance on this dvd was by far the best imo. That solo might be one of the greatest drum solos of all time
He crushed the entire lineup 1000%

Songs have been called or wrong in the subtitles..
What was the second song he played? The weird sounding one to be exact?
That is 'Proto Cosmos' by Tony Williams ... Actually, he's the gentleman on his shirt!

@@TheItalianDrummer I think you're right. I've heard Ronald play Protocosmos on another video and it was different than what was titled in this video.

Anybody know what kinda set this is ?
If you’re asking about Ronald Bruner, Jr.’s set, it is a custom made Tama Starclassic with abalone inlays.

THE MOST SLOPPY DRUMMING I EVER SEEN
NYPD, yes you are right
I think they was pretty solid
Annoying how all black drummers play exactly the same way. Speed, rudiments and theatrics. Zero musicality.
You know nothing..GTFOH!!
If it was not for black ones there would be no yt ones.
Why get annoyed yet you've hands too?
@@markbraand all the white ones are better 😂
Such a dumbass remark let's see you make a video of what you can do
