I am always sad when I take my Christmas decorations down, but then after they are all put away, I 'm glad to have everything back to "normal." Your home is so pretty and cozy.
The struggle is real when going to redecorate your home after Christmas. I kind of cheated and left some winter decor out like a few small trees and a snowflake garland. I know in a week or so I will put out a few Valentine’s items. Suggestion for you if you do not already have one. For the cute cow lantern on your top shelf in you kitchen, you could get a timed battery operated candle. They have them at Walmart for @$5.00. I am only mentioning this because you made a comment about it being dark. I know you meant the colors but it would brighten it up at night.

Christmas always brings a warm feeling to the house but you always manage to still make it look so cozy 😉 the frame your daughter in law gave you is so beautiful. I have never seen a frame with barm doors. LOVE IT! I love your shelf’s in the kitchen as wood color because it matches your kitchen window BUT you just never know. Once it’s painted white it might look awesome!

Thank you! I certainly needed that motivation to take down my indoor decorations. We took down all of outside decorations this past weekend. It’s sort of bittersweet. Christmas decor just brings out all the cozy feelings and memories. At the same time, it’s time to start fresh (the best we can!). I’m going to try to be more mindful, live in the moment and take more photos. God bless and wishing you and your family happiness and health! ❤️

My home is all clean and back to before Christmas decor. I did a little “Wintery” decor but very little. I’ll also put a little Valentine’s Day decor up too. Happy New Year, and Thankful to God he is our strength in 2021!💕

It's always a little bittersweet having to take down the Christmas decorations and the tree.
Once it is all down, it is kind of nice to bring back the things I have stored away for the past couple of months. I love trying things out in different ways.
I still haven't tackled my front porch and outside lights. There has been so much snow here, and freezing temps. It can wait.
The good news? I look out my windows and see that the neighbors seem to feel the same way. 🤗

I’ve seen the cones but I think if you find a nice basket you might be able to cut out the center. I always leave a little fairy light in a jar with a cardinal for january

I really miss the soft glow of the tree lights. You should try those vacuum bags for your pillows they are awesome,I use them for all of my blankets and pillows, they give you so much room ,just shrink them all down and then you can stack them up without taking up a lot of space. It is a little sad to take down Christmas, but your house looks so clean and fresh after. I keep our tree up until The Three Kings, or the epiphany, Jan. 6th, a very important day in the Italian culture I grew up in. So, I'm getting ready to take the tree and decorations down Thursday. I just took my tree down today. My Son tested positive for Covid 2 days ago which was when I had planned to take it down but after his testing I just didn’t have the energy. 😔 He still lives at home so we’re all quarantined for 14 days so it looks like I’ll be doing the organizing I had planned for “the new year” in the next few days ☺️. Your house looks beautiful as always ♥️

I started packing everything up yesterday. And ran out of bubble wrap so , I have to go to Walmart today and buy some . I always wait until after the 1st to take it down . This year I left it up a few more days. You went thur that fast. I wish I could lol . Good video
