    Love your recipes! Ignore the comments from those who judge you for what ingredients work for your family rather than figuring out the commenter can substitute ingredients they prefer. You do you and we viewers can adjust! 😊 Keep the videos coming!!! I love how enthusiastic your kids are in eating their meals. You rock!

      @lucydio273,The comments make sense, if you're eating healthy than all that salt in the better than bouillon plus the the light salt is so lot of salt,to me if you're eating a healthy plant diet there's a better alternative to use,plus all that salt is not even good for kids,my nephew had high blood pressure at 10 years old,most people with high blood pressure crave salt,maybe try educating yourself before saying someone is judging, there are many videos I have watched where people comment I can't have salt what do I do?I love her recipes on here but in every video that I have seen I say to myself boy that's a lot of salt she uses.

    I get a 1lb bag in my regular grocer in the inter foods aisle for less than $3. It’s used a lot in Indian and some Caribbean cooking. Hope this helps someone not get duped into buying 15-20$ bags online, if you can find them at a local place 😂

    Lite coconut milk is just regular with water. They charge the same price so you're better off using regular but half the amount and the same of water! Recipes look lovely. Soy chunks are so good.

    In the recipe with a yogurt you talked about making sure you evenly distribute everything. If I may make a suggestion, I would put the yogurt in the bowl first and add all the spices and mix it up very well and then put the protein chunks in

    I live in Europe. Obviously I have a different palate. (I am American.... but lived in Europe for the past decade)
    I recently had a friend bring me "better than bullion" paste from the US, to try to understand the hype. And I have to say....yikes. It taste like pure salt. I could not see me adding a full tablespoon of that paste and extra salt? Yikes..... there are better ways to infuse real flavor.
    Sorry, but for you to be so concerned about salt intake, using the "lite" salt, and the suggesting this stuff....one tsp of the "reduced sodium" is still 22% of the suggested daily intake. Meaning a tablespoon is 66%. Plus extra salt? Yikes. What do you do for the rest of the day. Drink water to avoid any less sodium?
    You can do better....

    • @swissmiss4u76
      @swissmiss4u76 12 днів тому +3

      @@lucydio273 yes, I am sure glad I also have the option to voice my opinion, too. I like her recipes, and adapt them to my taste. I just think it pretty hypocritical to make sure to showcase the "lite" sodium container and yet use a sodium bomb like that. What if I wasn't an experienced plant based cook, but someone that followed her recipe to a tee because I didn't know better... anyway. You are right, everyone has different preferences. Mine are true flavors, and not just salt, over salt, with extra salt on the side... but maybe a sodium laden diet has its health benefits, as long as it is plant based?

    That's not tikka masala ...spice mix ..just not the same .. infact they're not even remotely similar..
    And btw.. chicken tikka masala isn't the same as tikka masala..
    There's also something called paneer (cottage cheese cubes) tikka masala ...
    And what you made could be called soy tikka masala except for the fact that your gravy simply can't taste like tikka masala
