I’m a little surprised by this video because in my experience unwanted facial hair is a taboo subject. No one wants to discuss it, ever (even though they’d talk about bleaching their bum!). But as a woman with embarrassing facial hair, I started shaving years ago but never told anyone! Thanks for this great, honest, plain speaking video.
Mother Nature definitely has a sense of humor. The thick hair on my legs that I had all my life is almost nonexistant now. However, the hair on my face has thickened and gotten longer. Not fair, Mother Nature, not fair.
I've been shaving my face for about 10 years now and it makes a huge difference in the texture of my face . I have no bad side effects from doing so. I'm 69 and hardly any wrinkles . Shave about once a week . It grows back slowly . I'm sure it's different for each individual . Shave my arms to along with my legs . Makes everything look smooth and more attractive .
I shave my face once or twice a month. My face hair is blonde and fine. It doesn’t grow back prickly at all. I’ve been doing it for about three years now.
I have a very hairy face and have been shaving it for almost 30 years and for more than 20 years I've been using a Gilette Mach 3 men's razor following a recommendation from another woman. I stopped using shaving foam because of the soap in it and simply do it with my ordinary cleanser. The results are much better when the skin is warm and wet. After this procedure I use my serums and moisturiser.
I am Hungarian and I had to start shaving my face about 10 years ago because the hair on my chin and neck started growing in very dark and gave me a negative complex. I have to do it every other day, but it hasn't grown in thicker at all. I feel great about myself now though.
I’m new to your channel. I’m 59 and I’ve been shaving my face for years. I’ve never seen a video about it so thank you for sharing your experience. I’ve been doing your workouts, they are awesome!! I’m trying out your eye make up methods and loving it!! Your a beautiful inspiration!!
I used one of the shavers like the pink one in this video. I am telling you, using it nearly erased these deep set wrinkles in my smile dimple area. The old dry skin that came off was crazy. I can't even feel the lines anymore. I do use it around my lip area but I'm more excited about the amazing exfoliation these little things do.
I am 56 and I first started getting course hair on my face at 19 years of age. I plucked for many years but about a year ago I started to shave. I now alternate between plucking and shaving. It's just one of those necessary things I do to make myself feel more confident.
Yes!! I never had more than just a tiny bit of peach fuzz. Then at one point I really noticed along my jaw and hairline. As long as I didn’t wear makeup… no problem. But with makeup on-YIKES!!
Love this. I have never had an issue with prickly hairs growing back because of the blunt ends. I have always had really fine, nearly imperceptible face hair. After a while it just reappears and the only way I know it is not the feel but the look. My skin does, however feel amazing afterward. Just have to be careful if you use retinol or Retin A. Don't dermaplane and then put on Retin A. OUCH! And dry skin works best.
After shaving, I use a gentle toner to remove all the loose skin cells and make sure it’s clean and to soothe. Follow with moisturizer. I love it. I used to use Veet and that was so irritating, smelled and was a real production to do.
I love your positive messages about getting older. You make me smile every time. I have been shaving my face similar to you, for many years now. I love it. It's so easy and I agree with all the pros you listed. It makes me feel much more confident. I only have to do it once/month. The hair does grow back slowly and I just shave when it bothers me again. The hair is slightly blunt at first when it grows back, but then feels soft again after a few days. My daughter had some waxing done, it was so rough and I thought there was a better way, so I converted her to shaving. If it wasn't for YT I probably never would have tried it, but I'm so glad I did.
Your friends meant well. Shaving your face is good for your skin it removes dead skin cells as you stated. Applying serums and creams work better on a clean, exfoliated face. PS, Happy Birthday Week!! Thanks for the video too.
I use an eco-friendly stainless steel safety razor so it's really cheap and easy to replace the blades--they're also recyclable so no plastic goes into landfill or the ocean. Works a treat!
I'm new to your channel, and I just seen your January 24,2020 5 makeup mistakes. I laughed so hard when you were talking about " old Lady mouth" so true. I love you. You are the best. I've seen lots of others, but your voice is calming and I'm learning so much . I feel your my Best Friend in your personality and I've needed a REAL woman to understandably understand my flaws and how to correct them. I'm actually happy and more knowledgeable about what to look for in shopping. I'm 62 years old and am fighting with an auto-immune disease , which I almost gave up all hope. And I'm 100 pounds over weight which means an uphill battle for someone who never was overweight. So THANK YOU FOR YOUR CHANNEL AND ENCOURAGEMENT. 🙏 ❤️
I had a lot of hair growth on my face being a natural brunette, I ended up having Laser Hair removal and it was the best decision I ever made, now I just every now and again use just a normal razor 🪒 to remove any of the stubborn little hairs that grow back, but I’ve never had the hairs on my face grow back like stubble on your legs, I even had my legs, arms and underarms all lasered hair removal and sometimes if the spa I went to are having a sale, I’ll just go back and get a touch up done on those areas, I haven’t shaved my legs in years , the Pros definitely out way the Cons. My makeup and skincare products work a lot better for not having any hair on my face, I’m at 60++. 💖💖
I like that you covered both pros and cons because you mostly see people raving about it on UA-cam. I did it once and hated it. I have very short peach fuzz so I probably don't need it, but I did it to see if it would help with wrinkles and product absorption. It didn't really and my skin was very dry after. I also had tiny pimples the next day, and I never have more than 1 pimple at a time. Your video was very informative and just really good for anyone wondering or considering if they should do it.
thanks! i don't notice the hair on my face at all. but the beauty bloggers are all like shave your face! so you are the first one who said the cons. i mean im not pretty like you, but i don't have facial hair. so thanks to you, im not gonna shave!
I started shaving my face about 10 years ago (with regular razor) but last year, I started using the same blade thingy that you have and I prefer this tool, it's so quick and easy and as you've said, it exfoliates the skin at the same time.
Thank you. I was actually wondering about that scratch stubble. You are the only one that has shared the truth. I even heard a Dermatologist talk about shaving and not say one word about the stubble reality. Very nice to have The facts 💫😃
I use the Flawless brand battery operated circular shaver. There are no exposed sharp razor blades. It takes seconds and I know I won't cut myself. I do it daily to maintain and it's very quick and simple.
I use that as well plus I purchased the razor set, the derma planer by the same brand and have used it I like it so far. I have very fine facial hair not that noticeable. When I shave the makeup goes on so good. Have a great day 👋.
Hi Schellea, I still pluck the hair on my chin, upper lip and occasionally a few on my neck. I have very fine hair, what I call fuzz on my cheeks. I have thought about shaving and have tried shaving my upper lip. I have also waxed my upper lip and chin. I think at 75 im doing pretty good. I have always used a moisturizer on my face so my wrinkles are minimal and the hair growth is slight. Once again thanks for the advice.
Works great! I only discovered this when I started laser hair removal and could not wax. I’m two treatments in and wish I learned about it sooner as the laser hair removal would not have been necessary! Thank you for the tip about the barrier after.
Thank you, Schellea. Most women don't have the opportunity to see their own facial hair outside in the bright sunshine. I'm so happy I started shaving my face. I began like you, with the tiny razor but ended up like Beth. In the shower, no mirror with a full-size razor! Bless your heart, I lost patience. Great video.
I shaved my face until I saved enough money to have laser hair removal. It was worth every penny. My face is always smooth and soft and I never have to think about it. I highly recommend it. It cost about a $1000.00 . I had a big yard sale stopped buying my lattes and within a year had the money. So worth it. I hope this helps somebody.
@@isabelkimble4879 it has been 14 years so I can’t remember exactly but it was about six. All included in the $1000. I had breast cancer back in 2006 and lost all my hair everything. When I was done with chemotherapy it all grew back and it grossed me out. So I went to the laser place. I had my legs, arm pits, bikini area done. Haven’t shaved anything in 14 years and all my surfaces are baby smooth. It’s wonderful and you wouldn’t believe how much time it saves getting ready.
I used to use hair removing cream before and it really was uncomfortable and it would irritate my skin,so I just gently started to shave my face and I thought I was the only one doing this and that it was weird for a woman to do it,until years later I saw a video about facing shaving for women.I find my skin becomes so soft and glowing after a gentle shave.
Thank you thank you thank you! I was always embarrassed by the fact that I shaved my facial hair and thought I was in a minority. It’s great that you did this video to illustrate it’s not such a taboo subject or something to be embarrassed about. 🙏🏻💕
Whenever I had my eyebrows waxed at my hairdresser she would always ask “and your top lip too?”. So I took to face shaving & have never looked back. I looked into it in great detail & the little face shavers that I’ve pick up online are perfect for me 🥰😀🇦🇺
You are the only YT'r who has said "you will get a bristly grow back" .... or words to that effect! I have asked many, many people the same question : "does it grow back prickly? " and every single person has said "NO"! I don't shave as I have very little hair on my face - masses of the stuff on my head though 😂😂 Thank you for this very candid "Tell All". I appreciate it so much. 😊 💗💗
I have shaved my face for years and my regrowth has never grown back prickly, thicker, darker etc. Its one of the best things I’ve done for my skin. The exfoliation is so great
I watched a program from the USA about 15/16 year's ago now, the guy is called Dr Oz and he covered women's facial hair and shaving... He said (which I was worried about beforehand) that it's fine to do it, the hair will not grow back like a man’s does all dark and thick, But I still wasn't sure. My top lip was fine but I had some hair on the corners of it, so aged 48 at the time I went for it with a razor. I'm 59 now and never looked back the key is to moisturiser after and let the skin settle before applying make-up. Plus I think women of my age still find facial shaving taboo I did... But I'm glad I went for it 💪🏻
I started shaving my face about 4 months ago. My daughter in law got me into it. Loving it. I currently use the ones by Flawless. But will try yours. Thank you.
Thank you for this video. I’ve always been very hairy all my life thanks to my dads side. I was ever so excited to finally shave my legs at 13. So now that I’m older my hair pretty much stopped growing on my legs but surfaced on my face, chin and neck. I’ve always had peach fuzz and afraid to shave in fear it would grow back like a beard. I’ve plucked the stubborn hairs but now I can’t see them as well UGH!! So I saw three videos on shaving your face just this week, yours included. So I’m shaving my face and neck. Thank you for sharing.
I started shaving my face when I started menopause due to it growing in thicker. I have never regretted it. I do it all different ways. Sometimes with the edge blade like you use and sometimes with a disposable regular blade. I usually shave maybe twice a week.
I'm so happy that you are posting this so thoroughly and cheerfully. Ever notice, after menopause, that the hair on your legs has now been transferred to your face (moustache and chin areas)? :) Of course now it's graying in some spiky areas in one chin corner. Sometimes, if the hairs are long enough, but most times I used a touch up shaving wind (several times a week). Since hair grows in patterns, sometimes the hair is in one area and other times -- it's in another area of the chin, etc. Years ago, I went to the bp for waxing and my hair was gone but with boils underneath!!!! What a mess.
I started shaving my face sporadically a few years ago and got tired of plucking those dreadful hairs, so I started shaving more often. I have very sensitive skin and the shaving is not irritating. I love how velvety my skin feels. I now shave several times a week.
Hello Shelly, I don’t shave for the very reasons that you have shared with us, but I do use two different devices that pull out the hair ( I think this is termed depilating, but not sure). This keeps you from having stubbles, like you do with shaving. I’ve been doing this for more than 20 years and I’ve never had stubbly skin. As a matter of fact, I’m always getting compliments on what great skin I have and I’m 64 years old. The two devices are both made by Emjoi. The one is called Tweez’e or Tweeze. It pulls out the little hairs. I use this on my upper lips and all around my mouth. The other one is called Prestige by Emjoi. I use this on the rest of my face. I used to do it once a week for years, but now I’m getting lazy and only do it about once a month. I don’t have rough or stubbly skin at all. My complexion is very soft and smooth. Hope this helps. I myself, would be afraid of using a razor.
I had a few thick hairs grow in on my chin and I would use my tweezers to remove them. I heard about sugaring and waxing. I tried both. I went from having a few hairs to pull to a bunch. I am afraid to shave because I am scared I would look like my husband. Any advice?
I am 64 and have used an electric depilator by Braun for about 5years. I usually use it about every 10 days. It pulls the hair out when it's only about 2mm long and takes seconds. I'm very happy with the results
Sheallea, thank you so much for addressing this very sensitive subject. I am a dark haired 65 year old women and have been shaving my upper lip since my 40's. I cannot stand a women with a mustache and waxing HURTS. Anyway, I applaud you for talking about something we all do, but don't even talk to our best friends about. I have just ordered the blades and barrier cream that you recommend.
I had the worst breakout after my first face waxing. It was a severe case of folliculitis. I do have oily skin. So shaving is the absolute best. Its easy too. I pluck once in awhile in my problem areas, but I get ingrown hairs in those areas, so shaving is the best.
Thank you for making this video. Why women feel shame for doing this is beyond me. I felt bad when I first started but I wanted the pros of it. Now I get compliments on how pretty my skin looks. Thank you!
Good information, thank you. I tried this a couple of times and I did not like that my face felt a little bit prickly. I rather bleach the hair on my face.
I am 50 and my facial hair has been increasing in number over the years. I find my little Maxim travel shaver that takes 1x AAA battery is a godsend - just whizz round the upper lip & sides, and round the chin - takes seconds, job done. Well worth buying!
I love to shave once a month. For me the tinkle razors scrape my skin & irritate my skin barrier. I like the stacked razors. Love your pro / con review.
I'm a fan of shaving. I would get a couple wiry hairs that were bothersome. I don't mind touching up the shaving twice a week to keep the fuzzy hair away. I'm also happy with my results and the ease of it. I like the Schick Hydro Silk blades
So it affects the protective skin barrier for women, but not for men? I find that hard to believe especially since the person who told you that works in the beauty industry and it potentially takes business away from them. I have not seen any negative effects from it and I’ll continue with this method at a fraction of the price. Thanks for reviewing this for us.
IF her friends are correct, it could be because men use after shave that may be the protective barrier replacement. I am curious if men's facial skin is different to start with because they do have natural facial hair and ours is due to hormonal imbalance.
With peri-menopause my facial hair started growing in thicker. It's blonde but I could so relate to yourself about being embarrassed and worried about the light hitting it. So far I've been having it threaded. What a wonderful feeling it is everytime I have it done. My skin is so soft that I can't stop feeling it. But... that's expensive and it's not nearby so I am going to try this. Thank you! I've needed a solution for awhile and I appreciate you sharing your experience.
I’ve seen a few videos and then tried it. I have always had a lot of blonde peach fuzz that increased after menopause and now is turning white and more prominent. I’m a substitute high school teacher and teens can be quite observant! I have a few “hag hairs” that I must pluck. So I tried shaving. I got one of those electric battery ones for about $10 that does @ decent job. The single disposable ones burned my skin, even with lotion. I liked the look and feel until it starts to grow back and then I have sharp stubble which hurts my upper lip and is also more.noticeable oddly. The hairs a straight as they grow out and pick up the light. So I do it occasionally and let it grow in then start again. But it looks so much better when I do it regularly. Thanks for making it simple and easy. And thankfully the cons are minor and it’s easily reversible!
Yes. This is a problem and I appreciate your honesty on pros and cons. I am looking for a more permanent solution for blond hair. (I think lasers work best on darker hair.) This seems like something I will regret if I start.
You are amazing! I love that you answer my questions!! It's like you hear the questions in my head and answer them ! I love how you have a mind of your own and always mention how unique we each are! Ty
I’ve been dermaplaning (face shaving) my patients, and myself, (I’m a medical esthetician) for almost 20 years. If you stick with it, it’s a true method to slowly down the aging process. I think daily is excessive as this an exfoliating treatment… once a week is sufficient. I’ve never seen it affect the skin barrier, as it’s simply removing the stratum corneum. BUT using the right products afterwards DOES make a huge difference
Thank you for your honesty as another UA-camr who resides in France (hint hint) says the hair does not grow back prickly, which I found an odd things to say as hair is hair. Yes hair protects the skin, it’s actually one of its physiological functions. Great video - thank you 🙏
I think the you tuber that lives in France meant it doesn't grow back thicker. It doesn't but for some and just for the fact that hair is thicker when not at its full length it is more blunt.
I started doing it after seeing one of your videos. I love the result. Once a week, or more if I have an event. The results are exfoliated skin that takes much less makeup to get the results I’m looking for. Thank you! I love your channel.
I've been doing this for a while and am happy I started. Good tips about the sharp blade and the after skin barrier. I'd been using plastic razors and now I realize Ive been using them too long and they get dull... yes, skin bumps happen but didn't know that's why it was happening! I will look for a stainless safety razor so I can reduce the plastic use too. Thank you! ❤️ LeeAnne
I watched you explain and I have always had my face threaded or waxed and my skin reaction after was always dreadful so I will give the shaving a go......: ). Thanks fo sharing my Dad used to shave then put cream on his face....
I absolutely love you.....you have made a lot of us ladies feel tons of better about ourselves. Being a dark-haired brunette, facial hair has been an embarrassment to me. In the American culture, women are not supposed to have facial hair....which is actually ridiculous as we all have it to varying degrees. Thank you for your sweet honesty and best wishes for continual success in all of your endeavors.
Beautifully said!!! i too have been shaving my face for 20 yrs. i’m 61 and had long blond facial hair. i had some hiccups during the first 2 yrs &?switched up my frequency. also had a skin barrier issue . 2 weeks of cb no shaving fixed it! love the clean, smooth results! i use the Gillette no strip razors. i keep my razor in a cup of alcohol. and throw it away often. thank you!!✨
I have been shaving for about 15 years. I also have my face professionally micro bladed about every 10-12 weeks or so and I shave in between. The results are amazing! My face is softer and my makeup glides on. I’ll never stop
Thank you Schellea! This facial hair of mine is rather annoying so I am glad you broght up this subject I have been plucking with a twizer the longer ones and so have put off shaving or waxing, but I trust you and weigh the pros and cons ! Sending you a Big Hug!
The UA-cam channels "Doctorly" and "Dr. Dray," both created by board certified dermatologists, have offered positive opinions on face shaving. Neither has mentioned anything about damage to skin barrier. That's good enough for me, and I've had great results shaving my face over the last year. Plus, I save a lot of money by not having to go to a salon for waxing.
thank you for this video!! people just dont share the cons and those are important ... i hate the prickles of hair regrowth on my legs ... i'm gonna try the face anyways but it's good to have the confirmation of what i was suspecting!
I am from India and I went to clinic Dermatech for hair reduction. A few sittings were enough to reduce hair. Now I shave my hair and the little hair that grows is soft and very minimal.
I am half Italian and my chin hair is plentiful. I am also fully in menopause and 60. I pluck every day and that causes redness and bumps. I shave the fine hairs on my face and have for a long time but darn it these chin hairs are an issue. I am considering laser to get rid of them for good. Love your channel. You are so lovely.
Coconut oil rubbed on your face after shaving feels so great and keeps any bumps or rashes at bay. ..Also I don’t experience the prickly hair growing back.. it’s always the same soft peach fuzz except for a few stealth hairs on the upper lip that get plucked. Could that be due to the coconut oil?..not sure! ..Wonderful channel ..just found you and will be binge watching🤗
Hi, S! I do minimal shaving… and some plucking under my chin…. For years I had TWO hairs that returned after plucking on my chin, but eventually they have stopped! Hormones are so weird!!! Good advice from you! Thank you! (Remember “bearded ladies at the circus?!!!!)
I just love your honest opinions. And you are just so lovely. Favorite channel! 🙌🏻 I started shaving my face last year with the small blades you use and I LOVE how soft and smooth my face now is. I hated all that peach fuzz! Lol
I had peach fuzz it never ever bothered me till meeting friends for lunch and I was teased about it my hair makeup and clothes are important to me always have been always like to look nice even if I'm just in the home I was so upset returning home so i thought I'd give waxing a go I get in a blinking mess but I do it and very happy with the results enjoyed watching the video very informative xx
I agree with the skin barrier. I shaved my face and it felt soo smooth, But when I was outside, particularly when it was cold, my skin became patchy, red patches.. So I haven't shaved since.. But thanks for the advice..
This is such a great video! I hadn't shaved my face in a while, and noticed it was feeling smoother, but when I saw it in the sunlight, ack!!! I had blonde stubble, so embarrassing! It made me wonder if it was just me-all the UA-camrs I've watched say is it grows back the same. Thanks for talking so openly about the 'prickles', lol!
I’m so glad you did this video. Iv been do this for a while now but I stopped for awhile because my razor was so sharp and I didn’t know what I was doing and cut my face and boy was that embarrassing to be going around with cuts on your face. Now I know how to use it and when I’m on vacation it’s so much easier to take care of those chin hairs. Thank you 😊
Thank you so much for such an informative video. I've been scared to shave and have mega hair grow back. I have noticed fine hair on my lip and jawline since menopause. It's not terribly noticeable, but my skin was always very smooth and I notice it when applying makeup. I'm going to give it a try. I trust you and think I will feel more confident. 🥰♥️👍
Since you shave years ago as said would you tell us how it grow is it taller and thicker
Mother Nature definitely has a sense of humor. The thick hair on my legs that I had all my life is almost nonexistant now. However, the hair on my face has thickened and gotten longer. Not fair, Mother Nature, not fair.
Me too. Lol
So true!
Me to lol
Some dark hairs too!🤷♀️
Thank you all. Great to know I’m not alone.
I've been shaving my face for about 10 years now and it makes a huge difference in the texture of my face . I have no bad side effects from doing so. I'm 69 and hardly any wrinkles . Can I ask what you use to shave with?
Do you use a razor? Do you put anything on your skin first?
So true,me too I'm 65
You have the sweetest most delicate and kind personality . 👌🏻
You’re everything girl , keep it up
❤️❤️❤️❤️
I shave my face once or twice a month. My face hair is blonde and fine. It doesn’t grow back prickly at all. I’ve been doing it for about three years now.
I have a very hairy face and have been shaving it for almost 30 years and for more than 20 years I've been using a Gilette Mach 3 men's razor following a recommendation from another woman. Ok
You should get laser hair removal on your face then you would never have to worry about it again
@@lpg8518 Lazer doesn't work for Grey, blond or red hair unfortunately.
@@jenrutherford6690 It's not laser, Flawless is a lady shaver, like a men's electric shaver but for women. It's excellent for peach fuzz
This happened to a friend and she had PCOS and did not know. She received treatment and it went away.

Thank you for your help. All these little pieces of info are so valuable to people like me looking into doing it ❤
Tx for the affirmation! I've done it for a while and was worried by the warnings of the blunt regrowth. A woman's gotta do what a woman's gotta do! 💜
I've been dermaplaning for years and I've never had my hair grow back blunt. I guess it's different for everyone. Thanks for sharing!
Me either

My makeup and skincare products work a lot better for not having any hair on my face, I’m at 60++. 💖💖
I like that you covered both pros and cons because you mostly see people raving about it on UA-cam.
I did it once and hated it. I have very short peach fuzz so I probably don't need it, but I did it to see if it would help with wrinkles and product absorption. It didn't really and my skin was very dry after. I also had tiny pimples the next day, and I never have more than 1 pimple at a time.
Your video was very informative and just really good for anyone wondering or considering if they should do it.
Thank you for taking the time to research shaving, exercising and so much more for us women over 50. I enjoy all your tutorials!!! ♥️💄🥰
Been doing it for about three years, used to have threading done. I won’t stop shaving, so easy to maintain.
Thank you ! I have a lot of hair because of hormones and I've been shaving my face for a long time because I don't like the way it looks on my face
thanks! i don't notice the hair on my face at all. but the beauty bloggers are all like shave your face! so you are the first one who said the cons. i mean im not pretty like you, but i don't have facial hair. so thanks to you, im not gonna shave!
Yes me too. Except I am 57. I need to get a good pair of tweezers. Do you find any better than others?

I have been shaving my face for several years. It makes such a difference and I use a shaver device made for women. No knicks or cuts.
Sadly, it’s not an option for everyone. My hair is blonde on fair skin. It needs to be dark hair agains fair skin.
@@missmayflower You are right. I guess it is the rare time I’m lucky about something. Hope they find a way around this soon so anyone can benefit.
How many treatments did you need?
@@isabelkimble4879 it has been 14 years so I can’t remember exactly but it was about six. All included in the $1000. I had breast cancer back in 2006 and lost all my hair everything. When I was done with chemotherapy it all grew back and it grossed me out. So I went to the laser place. I had my legs, arm pits, bikini area done. Haven’t shaved anything in 14 years and all my surfaces are baby smooth. It’s wonderful and you wouldn’t believe how much time it saves getting ready.
@@carollutton3340 that’s great, thanks for the info.
I don't shave as I have very little hair on my face - masses of the stuff on my head though 😂😂
Thank you for this very candid "Tell All".
Thank you.
Beth@ fifty plus beauty is one of my faves. So kind of you to refer people to her channel. You're a sweet soul. 😉
I shave also on my face after 3 days i put egg yolk on my face after 20 min remove and wash my face, after drying it like a baby face so smooth.
I started a few years ago and I love the results!
I started shaving my face when I started menopause due to it growing in thicker. I have never regretted it. I do it all different ways. Sometimes with the edge blade like you use and sometimes with a disposable regular blade. I usually shave maybe twice a week.
I’ve started using this razor and I love how easy my makeup goes on and looks so nice. I’m new to your videos and love them
I am 32 and I just love this channel!
@@DendyA4321 Thank you!
I don't shave my face, but if you put coconut oil on first you'll get a cleaner cut and it will feel smoother afterwards too.
Sadly, it blocks my pores and I break out. I only use foaming Cetaphil
Me 2.
I have peach fuzz, but shaving it off helps my moisturizer and makeup goes on evenly
That is so great dakotahstr! Stay fabulous! ❤️🌸
I’ve nicked myself too many times doing it & I get better results with my pia cleansing, exfoliation & dermaplaning with blue light.
I started doing it after seeing one of your videos. I love the result. Once a week, or more if I have an event. The results are exfoliated skin that takes much less makeup to get the results I’m looking for. Thank you! I love your channel.
Laser hair removal is another option. A few sessions and practically hair free after that.
I was literally wondering today what your thoughts were on this!
I've shaved my face for 30 years and my skin is healthy.....
Hi Laura, what brand of shaver do you use? I don't want to buy anything through Amazon.
thank you for this video!! people just dont share the cons and those are important ... i hate the prickles of hair regrowth on my legs ... i'm gonna try the face anyways but it's good to have the confirmation of what i was suspecting!
I use the Nair Cream for the face.
Absolutely great information. I didn't know that you could restart after shaving if you change your mind.
You are amazing and I am thankful for your content and honesty. I’m in the too hesitant group but may reconsider now.
I’m blonde, in my 60’s & use the Flawless razor system on my upper-lip & chin & really like it.
I do it to exfoliate as I use retin a . No problems
I started shaving my face last year with the small blades you use and I LOVE how soft and smooth my face now is. I hated all that peach fuzz! Lol
The part about it growing back prickly makes me nervous . But the benefit of makeup going on more smooth is enticing!
I have a little battery-operated face razor called VersaTrim and it works great! I have never cut myself and it doesn’t cause breakouts/bumps either
Get new friends 😁😎✌️
Can you talk about how you did your hair in this video and how you cut your fringe? : )
I agree with the skin barrier. I shaved my face and it felt soo smooth, But when I was outside, particularly when it was cold, my skin became patchy, red patches.. So I haven't shaved since.. But thanks for the advice..
I have shaving for years. I use a good quality, face only razor. I put on moisturizing sunscreen immediately. I have my coffee while it absorbs.
Great points! The cons are very true! I don’t shave my face because it would be hell for me.
Thank you 😊
I will probably be do it i am over 55 and i have nothing to lose but will gain silky face ❤
It's also good on the nose area..You will be surprised how much dead skin accumulates there...Blackheads and open pores are no longer.
Thank you so much for sharing this info. Love all your videos. Keep up the great work.
THANK YOU for your candidness and knowledge!
