@@redstreak9430 i know, it’s obviously Luigi. He’s not fooling anyone with that mask or different clothing. He’s clearly Luigi. If it’s not then what does the L stand for in Mr. L’s name?
Yeah. Idk if people still agree with that theory but I just remembered this line and thought I’d point it out since nobody talks about the revaluation that much. Sorry for sounding like a stick in the mud.
Anyone who complained that Super Dimentio is too easy and wants a challenge, maybe try fighting him as Mario or Peach (since Bowser makes the fight super easy with his blasts of flame combined with if he uses Thudley to stomp on him). At this point in the game they can do like 8 damage (unless you leveled them up at the Pits of 100 Trials), and for a boss with 200 HP, and no blasts of flame to hit him with, that could make it more challenging and once he actually won an award for hardest final boss (they must have got that mixed up with the award for most evil Mario villain lol). I love how they simultaneously made Bleck's tragic story and heroic sacrifice work and threw in a final boss, with a significant and dark presence throughout the game, who is pure evil and feels satisfying to take down. (Well, unless you wanted a more challenging fight, but if you do, then don't use Bowser on him) Also love how Bowser is the final boss of the first game and now here I (and you) are him fighting the final boss of this game, far more evil but far easier. And the fact that, his host, as is the trend for many Mario RPG bosses? Not Bowser, not Peach, but Luigi of all people.
Does anyone else notice this ending is relevent the pacifist ending in Undertale. both flowey and Dimentio both trick the heros and come in a bigger form to destroy all worlds, and their power goes away by different color hearts.
Yeah, Toby took inspiration from this game, specially Dimentio, to create Flowey and his goals. Difference is that Undertale is waaay harder than this.
The fact Bowser says "Let's jump him" about the final boss, just hits me funny. Like really Bowser, that's your strategy? Bowser is going ghetto-style xD.
It's odd in how *EVERY* Super Paper Mario final fight I see, they always use Bowser because he does double damage. _You ain't a true gamer unless you used Mario only against the final boss._ And before you all try to attack me, _NO_ I personally NEVER used Bowser against Super Dimentio. N E V E R.
Theres something I need to say about Lemmy and Dimentio. So one of the most interesting references was how Lemmy Koopa was written in Color Splash. He seems to emulate Dimentio's speaking pattern and borrow parts of his battle theme. I personally head canon that Lemmy is a huge fan of Dimentio, which he is because of the speaking pattern and theme. And the fact that Lemmy is like a magician which Dimentio is one also. If you slow down Lemmys theme it sounds very very similar to Dimentios, plus when Lemmy says that he claims a spectacular defeat which Dimentio does also.
@@Tailbiter231 Well we never see Dimentio himself dying, just possessed carousel Luigi’s head exploding. So for all we know he can be plotting his next plan as we speak.
@@TheSlideCell We saw Luigi and the Chaos Heart emerge from the head, so that means all that was left in that head was Dimentio. And Bleck made clear that the only reason the Chaos Heart continued to exist is Dimentio left behind a shadow of his power to control it so that everypony else would die with him. Fawful would die in a similar manner, which was probably intentional. It is kind of a moot point though since Nintendo doesn't have it in them to make a good Paper Mario anymore. 10 years later, the dark prophecy returns to haunt you once more.
Super paper mario: Dark shadows return starring
PAPER MARIO,
GOOMBELLA
Kooper,
Ms, mouz
Peach
Bowser
AND none other the dimentio, the returning sensation on the Nintendo switch
What’s about Bleck and Tippi, they’re my favs 😕
@@nonutnovemberman their probably dead
I tried this boss battle 5 times, each time dying to super dimentio and wishing there was a save between the Bleck and dimentio battles so I didn’t have to repeat both. I gave up after 5 times and never went back, so it’s great to see how it actually ended for closure
lol the game is super easy if you know how to break it(bowser+carry)
Surprised to hear someone had trouble with this boss fight.. everything dies super easily with bowser
@@bend7726 didn't bowser also have a lot less hp tho? i was not good at this game. still haven't gone back to finish the final boss and still don't really regret it
@@B0ssguyLow HP isnt a issue when you have long range AOE attack with DOUBLE DAMAGE
@@TunaBear64 it is an issue when you suck lmao
This game is the definition of "Would you still love me if I was a butterfly?"
LMAO
why is this so high quality? I imagine you must have used an emulator?
Truly a timeless classic.
No matter what, I'll always cry for Tippi and Bleck
Dinentio: I HAVE INFINITE POWER HAHAHAHAHAHA
Bowser: yes but do you have fire
You can just stunlock him to death? What, were developers too worried about making a challenging final boss after people said the Shadow Queen was too hard?
dragonstormx I have a bit of a challenge to make the game harder, for me at least. Bowser seems to be the most OP character in the game. I just won’t use him unless I’m forced to.
Luigi: "wow.. what? where am i? Oh the world's ending and we will die? Mario?"
Mario: **Doesn't care** (doesn't even say goodbye to Luigi or hug him or happy to see he's back.... Mario's messed up)
The world was Freaking ending 🤦🏾🤦🏾
You're either joking or you're another matpat fanboy.
This game is legendary
7:03 to the people who still don’t believe Luigi is Mr L (even though it’s obvious)
PhilPower134 nobody in this comment section sure but look at other videos explicitly about Mr L such as his themes for example and to this day they think that Mr L is a clone or a separate character. Sure some of it is just joking but some people are seriously thinking that it isn’t despite the scene I posted here.
@@redstreak9430 i know, it’s obviously Luigi. He’s not fooling anyone with that mask or different clothing. He’s clearly Luigi. If it’s not then what does the L stand for in Mr. L’s name?
Yeah. I figured most of it is sarcasm like Clark Kent being indistinguishable from Superman with the glasses but I did recall a while back seeing some sort of theory that Mr L wasn’t actually Luigi but was some incarnation of his dark persona and a lot of people seemed to latch onto it. Idk if people still agree with that theory but I just remembered this line and thought I’d point it out since nobody talks about the revaluation that much. Sorry for sounding like a stick in the mud.
Nah he's lying
12:25 Dimentio's Death
Piera Darcante no 13:04
R.I.P.
(Well, unless you wanted a more challenging fight, but if you do, then don't use Bowser on him)
Also love how Bowser is the final boss of the first game and now here I (and you) are him fighting the final boss of this game, far more evil but far easier. And the fact that, his host, as is the trend for many Mario RPG bosses? Not Bowser, not Peach, but Luigi of all people.
Song is sooooo catchy
Yep
Does anyone else notice this ending is relevent the pacifist ending in Undertale. both flowey and Dimentio both trick the heros and come in a bigger form to destroy all worlds, and their power goes away by different color hearts.
Yeah, Toby took inspiration from this game, specially Dimentio, to create Flowey and his goals. Difference is that Undertale is waaay harder than this.
@@Daniel-ns71617 Wow. I didnt know Toby knew about this game!
Crazy Monkey did he say that somewhere? 👀
Me: cries from the ending
Merlon: I’m gonna publicly announce I’m hungry
Nintendo should've made a cutscene in the game where Dimentio is found when you visit the Underwhere again after the game.
And Luigi got his get back.
You made this look effortless.
This game needs more love.
Lesson learned: If you have the powers of Luigi, do nothing.
Probably the first time that I truly tryharded/sweated at a video game.
Imagine if they all just said "Wow, we're all at the start of the game!"
Imagine a Paper Mario Game with the Gameplay and Partners of the Thousand Year Door and Super Paper Mario Story
I mean ttyd has an amazing story
The fact Bowser says "Let's jump him" about the final boss, just hits me funny. Like really Bowser, that's your strategy? Bowser is going ghetto-style xD.
But it works. Bowser is OP.
Nintedo switch needs a sequel for this... Such a good game!
I'm not going to lie... I cried during these scenes.
It's odd in how *EVERY* Super Paper Mario final fight I see, they always use Bowser because he does double damage.
_You ain't a true gamer unless you used Mario only against the final boss._
And before you all try to attack me, _NO_ I personally NEVER used Bowser against Super Dimentio. N E V E R.
I don’t care if I get hate because of this opinion, but this is my favorite paper mario final boss song.
That's because you're like 9 and haven't played any other game. Guarantee it
this is by far the best paper mario final song
this game look so good in hd my god
"If they make greeting cards to thank people for help with evil plans, I owe you one."

Is it just me or is dimentios theme amazing?
It's not just you
@@Tailbiter231 this was 2 years ago
@@soda_souls eh time is relative or something 😂😂😂
I've completed the story mode and I wonder.......where is Mimi's diary!?!?!
7:28 the timing with the music here is absolutely perfect
That will be awesome if dimentio comes back in a sequel to super paper mario.
Someone would have to revive him though. Of course if they did he'd just backstab them for his own plans.
Anything past the original trilogy doesn't measure up to any of them.
I like how the actual fight lasts less than a minute
Count bleck was in love with a * bleep*-ing butterfly...
Red_Milk Tippi and Bleck both used to be human.
oh ok
No, Tippi used to be a human. She didn't care if Bleck wasn't human. She still loves him for who he was
Tippi used to be human, her soul was transformed into a Pixl by Merlon so she would still be able to survive, as she was cursed to wander through dimensions until her game ended.
Red_Milk Thot Timpani didn’t care if Blumiere wasn’t human and Bleck doesn’t care if Tippi isn’t human.
If they ever make a remake of this gem like with the thousand year door, im definitely buying it no matter the cost
Who else imagines Dimentio sounding like Bill Cipher?
Me!
That's an interesting theory. We'll never know what he really sounds like so it's up to our interpretation
this game is hilariously easy
Young me: Fuck you
Labirinth of 100 levels is not
Me: * *sweats nervously remembering when I died 4 times to the second Mr. L boss* *
Yeah try to beat Flipside Pit of 100 Trials and Flopside Trials TWICE
But it have a great story
8:16 I will tear the universe down to its last atom... thanos?
Dimentio's plan is literally the same as Alternate Thanos. Except Thanos deluded himself into thinking he was saving the world (by killing everyone?), though quite hypocritical, where Dimentio is a psychopath
Luigi being the ideal host for the Chaos Heart is the best plot point ever.
The Dialogue before the Battle: 7 Hours long.
The Battle: 1 Minute.
Up and down on this merry go round. Destinations you'll never know.
Now we find its the end of the line.
Here we go for the ultimate show!
