No licensed music, though; Some of the licensed songs in BioShock are copyright nightmares. However, at the same time, they added to the atmosphere of Rapture so it's sort of a "damned if you do, damned if you don't" approach in that situation.
You could also use the Alpha series of Big Daddies as a killer. They could only be bonded to one Little Sister, and when theirs died they’d either go into a depression-induced coma, die outright, or (in the case here) become completely and violently insane
Elizabeth Perk Ideas Constants and Variables: After running through an unused pallet, Constants and Variable will activate for 7 seconds, while the perk is active, press the Activate Ability 1 button to open a tear, replacing the unused pallet with a dropped pallet. Constants and Variable will then go on cooldown for 120/90/60 seconds. Catch!: Brown and Yellow Quality items you are holding have 10%/25%/50% more charges. While Crouched, press the Activate Ability 1 button to remove 50% of the charges from your held item, Those charges are then spread evenly to the held items of every survivor with 24m of you Peeping Tom: While you are crouched, Peeping Tom activates, while Peeping Tom is active you can see the killers Aura within 42m and your aura is hidden from the killer. Once Peeping Tom has been active for a total of 60/90/120 seconds during the current trial, it deactivates permanently for the rest of the trial.
The Mori for the Big Daddy could honestly be so goofy and badass. It could start off with the survivor spotting the Little Sister with a hatch key and attempting to take it from her. As they rip it from their hand, the camera pans around them to show the enraged Big Daddy looming over them. Promptly drilling a hole through the survivor and accidently stomping on the key, destroying it as he continues his tantrum before the Little Sister climbs up on his back, calming him down to proceed with gameplay
After Silent Hill & the arrival of Pyramidhead this is the one & only licensed chapter I have wanted personally. Now is this incredibly biased as I plan on getting a bioshock tattoo, its one of if not my favorite series ever (even with the black sheep on Infinite), feel like it would fit perfectly into the fog, and how freaking awesome a big daddy would look in a full bloody prestige outfit? Oh you bet it is.
You know that if a BioShock chapter happens that there would be skins for the Killers that make them look like they are using Plasmids and Vigors. And I know that it probably wouldn’t make sense Bioshock canon wise, but a Doctor with Shock Jockey crystals would look sick as *fuck*.
I love bioshock, it's the type of game that tried to change the first person genre for the better. And for the most part succeeded. It absolutely has a place in dbd although the big daddy may be problematic to be implemented into dbd since their not really antagonists in bioshock. They have a job to do(protecting the little sisters) and their going to do it. And thats not really an evil thing, persay. But it could work, the entity is no stranger to warping the killers minds so that they think their doing something else while in the trials. And the entity could portray the survivors as hurting/stealing the little sisters so that the big daddies feel like the have a purpose in the trials. Also the intro was flawless.
They could also just take one of the many Alpha Series models you fight in BioShock 2, which have often become so cut off from their chosen Little Sister for so long that they've gone completely insane and are now driven by uncontrollable rage. (One of TWO outcomes for the model, in fact. The other is simply falling into a coma.) Either way, though, you end up with a lack of personality as the Big Daddy models aren't meant to have a personality: They're the genetic workhorses that once kept Rapture's infrastructure going.
The killer could just be an alpha series who has gone berserk, a big sister, a brute splicer, or just a handyman. (Though probably not a handyman as Rapture obviously has much better map material and so a handy wouldn't really fit in. Alternate skin perhaps?)
So, years ago, when I was really into both franchises, I wrote a chapter/licence for bioshock 2. It’s showing it’s age, but i think it’s worth sharing. Killer: Subject Delta Ability: it was basically Oni, to start with, but I think it’s better if you have a limited fuel (can be changed with addons) Power Drill that can be spun up to do damage to everything in your path, including walls, pallets, and survivors. It hits fast on the powered spin and charge, so you either take 2 hits in a second and go down with hindered, or you get out of the way. The Little Sisters are of use to the survivors as they can heal survivors and provide buffs, and to Subject Delta as they can extract Adam from downed survivors, empowering Subject Delta. Perks: -Genetic enhancement: you move 20% faster, can lunge 33% further (stacks). -Seeing Red: When in a chase, your Terror Radius is doubled (stacks) and your FOV is decreased by 5 degrees (stacks). When out of a chase, your FOV is increased by 5 degrees -Best served cold: When the last generator is completed, all windows are blocked for; -4 stacks: 60 seconds -8 stacks: 120 seconds -12 stacks: 180 Gain stacks by getting stunned in by any means Outfits: -armoured bouncer Hats: Rosie Rumbler Bouncer
I think Tenenbaum survivor could also work, as she plays integral role in bioshock 1, 2 minerva den and overall the lore. Her motivation would be to find and rescue lost little sisters
Good luck figuring out Alan Wake. (stares in Final Draft) But seriously, have a good time there and Bioshock is such a good series and I'm so happy to see you look at it!
If this chapter were ever to come to DBD I can see several DBD characters getting Rapture skins, here’s my idea: Thuggish Splicer: Doctor and Huntress Leadhead Splicer: Deathslinger Houdini Splicer: Wraith and Nurse Spider Splicer: Onryo Brute Splicer: Nemesis Big Sister: Skull Merchant Rumbler Big Daddy: Singularity Brigid Tenanbaum: Felix Richter Stanley Poole: Dwight Fairfield Grace Haloway: Claudette or Elodie Sofia Lamb: Kate Denson Augustus Sinclair: Ace Visconti Dr. Suchong: Jake Park Never thought of giving Singularity a Rumbler skin but would work really well, good idea Pixel
As a long time Bioshock 2 lover who couldn't even finish Infinite, it is very funny to me to hear Infinite described as the Black Sheep of the franchise, because all I ever used to hear was how Infinite was amazing and 2 was bad. Like, when did that stop being the majority view?
@@PixelBush Plus it didn't help that Burial at Sea was shockingly bad in the writing department. Also, it doesn't help that there hasn't been a new game in 11 years so people have had a LONG time to rethink things.
I can see the Big Daddy and Huntress protecting the Little Sisters from Freddy Kruger or Springtrap. I think they would be wholesome duo to be perfectly honest.
I have dreamt of a Bioshock chapter for so long. That and a Coraline adaptation are all I want. Though its extremely unlikely I would love a double killer and survivor chapter with a Big Daddy and a Big Sister as two separate killers, with Booker and Elizabeth as their own survivors. There's plenty of legendary character options from there too. You could have the twins for the survivors, evil bad ending Eleanor as a Big Sister and good ending Eleanor as a survivor skin, while the Big Daddy could have options to turn into a Bouncer, Rosie, or Alpha, maybe even a mini Songbird. They sized down the Xenomorph Queen and Nemesis, why not Songbird. I want this franchise in DBD so much lol.
I love the concept, but I imagine the little sister half working a bit differently. A few corpses will spawn around the map that you can bring the little sister to so she can harvest adam. When she fully harvests a corpse, she can inject the adam into the Big Daddy, giving him a buff that lasts for the rest of the trial. But it takes time to get adam. So you can either leave her alone to chase survivors and preasure gens, or guard her. Survivors can try to purify her like Jack can do in Bioshock 1. This will remove her from the trial, preventing Big Daddy from gaining any more adam. The Big Daddy will become enraged when someone tries to harm (purify) his little sister. This means he can easily end the chase he in, or drop chase and quickly return to his little sister. There is huge risk/ reward for both killer and survivor. Get the little sister out of the match, or the killer gets a buff that last the rest of the match. The the buff could be anything from faster pallet breaks, movement speed, etc. Breaking pallets shocks nearby survivors making them scream, Seeing the gen that has the most progress, All the way up to being Enraged Add ons can change these buffs too. Your idea of the teather seems pretty fun, and can work really well, but I'm afraid of how it might work on some maps/ some bad map tiles. I love Bioshock, and it NEEDS to be added to DBD.
Honestly i think it would be cool playing as a little Sister. Every time she hits a survivor she gets Adam, which fills up a meter.Once full she calls in Big Daddy and you switch over to Big Daddy for awhile. Little Sister: low terror radius (Scratch mirror myers), 110 speed, and can get into vents to move around the map. Ability can track injured survivors “smell their path way” but drains Adam meter. Big Daddy: large terror radius, 115 speed, drill dash that goes through pallets and can damage gens for extra reduction. Drill dash is an instant down. Drill Dash drains Adam time (Big Daddy’s usage) +Big Daddy can’t be stun -+Drill Dash works like demos lunge but further distance and has a stun effect if attack hits wall, miss) -Big Daddy can’t Vault Survivor: Tenenbaum -Just a quick: thought
I know I am late but I would like to add that it's absolutely possible to use Elizabeth's Tear abilities as perks. Remember back in the anniversary where you grab an invitation you get an ability to summon pallets and block windows? It works very similar to her weaker version of tears in Columbia where she can only summon one at a time!
Honestly, when it comes to Survivors, it's either just doing Elizabeth or some kind of hybrid survivor imo. (That being a DBD original character placed into Rapture right around when things start to go to shit; Kind of like how Ghostface in DBD is an original character, but wearing the mask associated with Scream.) Eleanor Lamb from BioShock 2 would also be a good Survivor choice being that she's essentially a Big Sister minus all of the brainwashing crap and even escapes to the surface at the end of the game while wearing the Big Sister suit; The only hiccup being that, depending on your choices throughout BioShock 2, she can either be calm and forgiving or ruthless and devoid of humanity, meaning it gets a bit more difficult to choose which one would fit best as a Survivor. (Though without any alternate dimension crap.)
I think Tenenbaum survivor could also work, as she plays integral role in bioshock 1, 2 minerva den and overall the lore. Her motivation would be to find and rescue lost little sisters
Personal opinion before watching: eleanor from the bad ending of bioshock 2 would be an amazing fit for a killer, given where the story leaves, with her adrift at sea, alone and embolded with the conscience of a subject delta who knowingly and willingly killed everyone to achieve his goals, including the innocent little sisters. As for survivors and maps, one of the many elizabeths could be cool, but might break infinite's timeline even more than already. Maybe having atlas (yes, atlas and not fontaine) as a survivor could be great for a character that gets buffs to the detriment of the other survivors (for example, making this up on the spot, if atlas and another survivor are on a generator, instead of progressing twice as fast it now progresses 2.5x faster, yet the other survior gets extra hard skill checks instead of the normal ones). Mapwise, its gotta be fort frolic, closest competitor would bethe fontaine department stor from burial at sea
12:21 BHVR: Did you hear something? ....must've been the wind. Alrighty, let's have the Big Daddy have a charged up straight line midrange dash that breaks pallets! 18:34 And I think their mistrust is completely founded in BHVR's case.
I think that if BHVR does make a Bioshock chapter, they should add cosmetics that turn some of the other killers into Splicers. Like, imagine a Splicer version of Doctor, Blight, Legion, or Oni. Those characters already kinda lend themselves to the Bioshock vibe, all being killers who place their own personal values (be it knowledge, discovery, freedom, or personal pride) above everything else. Hell, Doctor and Blight already have powers similar to what the Plasmids give you in Bioshock 1.
Dead Rising would be a fun, if light, chapter for DBD. I've dreamed about having Frank West as a survivor since I started playing. Plus it's a Capcom title, so there is now a pre-existing relationship there.
I'd just like you to know that despite having quit DBD due to frustrations with BHVR's balancing team and how they treat killers' powers, I still find your analysis and dry humor entertaining enough to keep listening to prospective chapters of a game I've given up on. Keep up the good work!
I love all the moving parts you gave thr big daddys kit. Id say the only change id make is there being four survivors their odds of finding the little sister would be too high vs the bid daddy so maybe make it so if the survivors find her she will relocate to another locker ans the next time she is found by them they can return her. You could even add a cool little animation where the survivor tries to pick her up out of it and she throws a fit and Decisive Strikes them with her needle, stunning them for a bit and running away. Also ill say BioShock made me feel paternak fatherly feelings for Elizabeth i didnt know i had in me. It somehow got me to be incredibly over protective of a bunch of pixels. If that aint stellar writing i dont know what is, oh and amazing performances from the voice actress too.
I always imagined having the Little Sister as an AI that roams the map, casting an area of effect that heightens the Big Daddy's speed. You could guide it to certain areas by the hand for a mild speed penalty. A survivor could make the risk of trying to temporarily remove a little sister from the match via chute but then gets exposed while holding one. Also maybe consider adding Night in the Woods to your radar of chapters, I think it'd work well.
I had a idea where survivors could pick up little sister like in bioshock 2 multiplayer, buffing some of their stats. However, this would anger the big daddy, perhaps making him knock down the survivor in one hit? And when big daddy picks up the little sister, he can place her down to corpses of splicer that spawn around the map. If she sucks adam out of the corpse without being picked up by survivor, she Injects the adam into the big daddy, making him temporarily stonger
I find it funny that I wasn't the only one to think of big daddy as the killer (and using the little sister as a part of the power for him) and Elizabeth as the survivor. I think the only difference is that I would have the power be plasmids that you can use (I'm thinking lightning which would be a straight shot, fire which would be a AOE, and bees which would linger until the survivor shakes them off) and you can sent out the little sister to get a randomly generated one for you. (And if the survivors come too close to the little sister, the little sister will scream, and the big daddy gets a massive boost because he's angry.)
Thinking of a big daddy, I think the bouncer’s ground pound would make for a good starting ability - and the little sister gives the drill dash as a boost. So it would be something like: Base Power - Drill Pound. On a cool down; the big daddy charges up the drill and slams it into the ground. Survivors in a radius are staggered/pushed off generators and let out a shout. Little Sister - the little sister starts next to the big daddy, then runs off to find one of the three bodies placed around the map on the ground. After 30 seconds, she begins harvesting the body. This takes 30 seconds, and she sings a lullaby during which allows killer/survivors to hear/find her. After the 30 seconds, she calls out to the big daddy and becomes immediately visible to them. If the big daddy approaches and interacts with her, she injects him and he gets a buff to speed for a duration, and in that time his drill is revving. After a ground pound in this period, the big daddy can charge up and dash forward on its primary attack. This reduces the duration faster. If a survivor interacts with the little sister, they grab her and harass her. The big daddy can immediately see them both/they’re exposed - but after 3 seconds she have the survivor to get them away. This resets the direction of her Adam collection and causes her to run and hide in a locker - weeping until the big daddy finds her again or after 60 seconds. The jabbed survivor gets a haste bonus to actions, speed increase and if injured immediately gets healed one state by the adams effects.
As a bioshock you have done more this justice beyond what I could have hoped and come up with the best power idea for this chapter and no shock Elizabeth would be the survivor choice (though I really do not like her character after burial at sea). This has been the dream chapter for me and my sister who have been playing this game every year since 2010. I can already see the trailer being a little sister gathering Adam when a survivor goes near her and she just scream "Unzip them mr B!" with the big daddy appearing from behind a wall to shot their drill at the survivor. I really hope that the day comes that my dream chapter comes out. So 2K and Behaviour would you kindly make this happen already.
I would’ve made Subject Delta the killer of the Chapter. He’s the main character of Bioshock 2, and has a backstory that’s actually rather in depth. He could’ve been nabbed by the entity after he was shot in the head at the very beginning, or at the end when he finally gets his little sister back, enraging him once again.
@@l0sts0ul89. Except that's not really true; Depending on your choices throughout the game, Delta can either be a kind hearted soul or a ruthless monster.
I just thought of this, the red stain would totally make sense with the big daddy as a killer. The Big Daddy's "lights" for a lack for a better term are red whenever they get pissed i.e. when a little sister is in harm's way.
I’m so happy this video got made, a Bioshock chapter is one of my top wishes for DBD since it’s one of my favorite games of all time. (also the Big Daddy and Elizabeth is also my pick for the killer & survivor, so I was very glad to see both of them here)
I feel what would be even more interesting is if you were playing as the little sister instead of the big daddy, and you were ordering around the big daddy by riding on its shoulder.
I have 2 questions about the power: 1. How would the little sister obtain the ADAM? Would there be an ADAM-filled corpse somewhere on the map, or is it just within a locker? 2. Is there any counter-play if survivors find the ADAM first? Could they somehow hide the body from the little sister or lock it within the locker so the Little Sister can't open it? I watched the power concept twice to make sure I wasn't missing anything and while I can see the point of playing Hide-And-Seek with the Little Sister to calm down the raging bull of her Daddy, could be entertaining, but it could also be cool if we could hide something from her as well.
Actually, BioShock 2's multiplayer might have the answer to both of those questions, but ESPECIALLY the first; In the multiplayer of BioShock 2, one of the modes was a sort of Capture the Flag mode based around capturing a Little Sister with the goal of delivering her to a vent to score points. However, when the Little Sister spawns, she's harvesting a corpse for ADAM and the player can snatch her during this point in order to capture her; If BioShock were to get into DBD, that mode would be a good template for how to treat the Little Sister in gameplay: Spawning on the map collecting ADAM from corpses with the Survivor having the ability to capture her and starve the Big Daddy of extra power. (Minus the vents, of course.)
I think BHVR should do what they did with the Silent Hill chapter and bring a bit of every game of the franchise into one chapter Like have the Rapture map from 1 BUT have the little sister from the second game as the killer (My concept would be that they have a Plasmid roulette similar to Knight's, where they have 3 different plasmids they could use to chase survivors or buff themselves, meanwhile the Little Sisters would have another power that allowed themselves to jump to walls and grab onto them before pouncing into the survivors) And the survivor would be Elizabeth from Infinite, with her character bio being that shes the version that tried to chase after Comstock, but ended up in the Entity's realm by accident, and now she can't escape the trials
Bioshock is a deeply personal and important franchise to me. You’ve certainly done it justice here, and I can admit that even if I don’t precisely agree with your choice of a Killer (Big Sister or bust!) Personally, I’ve been working on a Big Sister Killer concept for a while but writers block has been kicking my ass in that department. My personal picks for a map would be between Fort Frolic and Outer Persephone, specifically Eleanor’s Quarantine chamber. Fucking exceptional atmosphere. And for a Survivor, it’s between Elizabeth and Tenenbaum. I think Tenenbaum as a character is very interesting and seeing her in the Fog would be really cool given how badass she is.
What I want from this series but even more so from behavior itself is exploration of ideas and how they'll interact with console not just pc. Folks like Nurse and Blight are top tier in PC matches but way harder to control on console so I'd like more mobility stuff and powers to think of that when designing new killers
I would do something different with the power. I would have little sisters spawn around the map. Survivors could interact with them to gain small buffs (haste, quieter sound, etc.) at the cost of giving the big daddy "enraged". While he is enraged his lunges would be longer (don't stack with coup) and break pallets or walls hit. Alternatively, being stunned gives partial enraged (1/3rd maybe) and/or the big daddy can collect little sisters for haste.
Honestly rather than the little sister hiding in a locker (locker amounts vary by map) I would rather see their little vents(?) appear on the map, more recognizable from a distance and it could be a random one of those scatted across the map like xenonorph's tunnels (but more frequently than those) potentially they could replace a locker in some spots like where there are double lockers?
Id kinda like to see him as a off-trap killer, the sister just harasses survivors and they can either lead her to a hole (slowdown) or kick her (giving daddy rage) Im happy with more dash killers, esp cos he could just be single charge slam forward bringing anyone he hits with him and I guess similar to wesker but without the infection or sideways directions
Funniest part about bioshock was that Elizabeth was so popular, it boosted 3d modeling, animation, and code breaking just so people can make 34 of her. Like, literally the reason overwatch 2 had their models hacked within 2 days was because of Elizabeth.
Before playing Alan Wake 2 you must play Control and it’s Alan Wake centric dlc AWE The events of the game tied directly to the events of Alan Wake 2 Also after finishing the first Alan Wake you should play Alan Wake: American Nightmare as the story is not only an early draft of The Return something that can be seen in Alan Wake 2 only by playing it It also reveals what happened to some of the characters from the first game that are absent in AW2 As well as showcasing the extent of the reality warping capabilities of the Dark Place
My main complaint with the idea of a big sister skull merchant is that the money I've already spent on sm cosmetics would go to waste because I'd only play her as a big sister XD
2K had nothing to due with System Shock 2, it was developed by Looking Glass Studios and Irrational Games with EA as the publisher, and it was Irrational Games who would go on to develop Bioshock under the name of 2K Boston.
11:35 This would never happen, but it would perfect if the Big Sister skin made Skull Merchant’s drones appear like the flying security bots from Rapture 😍😍😍
I honestly LOVE this idea! Having either subject Delta OR subject Alpha as the killer would definitely make me want to play this game. I just have one question: What about the Drill Charge that Big Daddies have? We literally see it as an attack in BioShock, so why is it missing here?
You mean Subject Sigma? That aside, I'm assuming he cut the Drill Charge because it would basically be another lunge attack when DBD already has 3+ Killers with lunge attacks.
Usually little sisters more closely resemble actual children, being more scared of strangers than curius, and Also stressed out in agressive situations, tho i supose it could work, if this was a evil little sister, either twisted by the fog, gone completely insane by Adam, or a little girl that was always evil, nasty, and spoiled.
Hey Mr. Pixel Brush, how well do you think the Weeping Angels would fit into DBD? I think they would be amazing. One ability for them is already possessed by The Onryo/Sadako in being able to climb out of electronics.
soooooo excited for Alan Wake. Based on the lore drop it seems the Entity can’t REALLY get its hooks into him. Which makes sense, there’s already a Dark Presence with a claim to him. And his inclusion opens the door to things like Control and other properties! I hope whatever comes next though, it’s a killer everyone loves. I can tell Alan was a bit of a surprise for most people, even with his win at the Game Awards
Killer: Subject Theta, The Prototype. I was going to suggest him being a berserk Alpha Series as his bonded Little Sister was either cured or killed, but maybe that doesn't have to be the case after seeing your version's ability plans (DBD gameplay isn't my strong point). Weapon would obviously be a drill, and cosmetics can be Subject Delta/Sigma/Omega and perhaps even other Big Daddy models. Another Killer idea would be a Big Sister, The Harvester. Survivor: Mark Meltzer (couldn't think of any other character who would be a good candidate besides Elizabeth). He could have plasmid-related abilities as I sort of doubt he's gotten through Rapture with nothing but a pistol. Cosmetics could be things like Jack or Kyle Fitzpatrick. Maps: Medical Pavillion or Fort Frolic (complete with plastered bodies scattered around) Killer cosmetic ideas: Bouncer, Rosie, Rumbler, Lancer, Brute Splicer, Handyman, Motorized Patriot (preferably one in the shape of Comstock for reasons), etc. Survivor cosmetic ideas: Booker DeWitt, Elizabeth, Andrew Ryan, Sofia Lamb, Sander Cohen, etc. P.S. 16:28 I've played this DLC multiple times and never have I noticed Sally's doll head rolling down the stairs.
It would be interesting if the killer who plays big daddy sees the survivors as splicers instead of whatever character the person chose. Then the big daddy has a reason to attack the survivors; the splicers are dangerous, so he needs to eliminate them
That doesn't necessarily have to be the case; By their very nature, the Big Daddy models go after anyone that harms their Little Sister even if they have no ADAM in them.
Hi pixel bush hope you are well. This was imo an amazing concept chapter and my no.1 pick for dbd (have played the game before its in my top 5) can't wait too see what your next potential and problem videos to come. Btw would you ever consider 'long shot' chapters as one of these videos cause I think it would be interesting (my choice for these types of chapter would be Postal) never the less have a good day
Oh, it would most likely be RPD 2.0. That being said, BioShock 2's multiplayer has a bunch of maps based on previously explored areas throughout the franchise so there's at least some form of template to base a DBD map off of. (They could even turn it into it's own realm with the various districts serving as locations within that realm, something they haven't done for YEARS.)
Is it just me or did anyone else always wonder why BioShock one often is listed among horror games? Because I know horror like humour is kinda objective but I really don't see what is supposed to be scary about the game sure I love BioShock don't get me wrong I just never understood that part about the community
The potential far outweighs the problems holy wow the prospects of this video excite me and with Lara Croft joining I’m seeing this chapter becoming more likely.
Obviously. However, what district do you pick? There were over a dozen areas in BioShock 1 alone, and BioShock 2 still has like 9 areas. (8 given that Persephone Prison wasn't really explorable and was moreso an epilogue gameplay-wise.) Sure, not all of those areas in either game were memorable or even had that much depth to them, but even the most iconic ones from the first game still number about 5-6 between Neptune's Bounty, Olympus Heights, Fort Frolic, etc. You'd think this would have to force Behavior to bring back the Realms for the first time in over 5 years, but typically only one map is introduced with each full Chapter anyway so it still comes back to the same question.
One of the biggest ironies of BioShock is that accepting moderate Christians would have somewhat corrected for the failures of his ideology(do to having compassion focused moral frameworks that are compatible with the idea of rational self-interest), he really screwed himself and Rapture over by rejecting(including banning the Bible) the very people who could have reconciled notions of; duty, integrity and compassion with those of self-interest, free will and ambition. A libertarian society while a good idea, needs a form of morality independent from the government to not devolve into the very tyranny it decries.
Slight counterpoint. While the bouncer is a really solid platform, a skin or main look that would do well is a generic alpha series. As without their bespoke little sister, they’d already be driven to a depthless rage a la death company.
Correction: When an Alpha Series is cut off from their chosen Little Sister for long enough, they either fall into a coma or become entirely consumed by mindless rage. Depthless rage is only one of the two results and it's not instant by any stretch.
Imagine how creepy it would be if your working a Gen or Healing a survivor. and all you here is
'Mr Bubbles I found an Angel'
Then hearing an angry yell and stomps from a pissed off Big Daddy as he heads towards you
Probably the only way for me to play survivor again since launch of dbd
If they do add a bioshock chapter, they need to add the Rapture radio announcements and Ryan Industries ads in the chapter.
No licensed music, though; Some of the licensed songs in BioShock are copyright nightmares. However, at the same time, they added to the atmosphere of Rapture so it's sort of a "damned if you do, damned if you don't" approach in that situation.
@@dragonbornexpress5650 Or they could pull a PSASBR and just make up their own tracks?
@@HB-fq9nn Possibly, but that has it's own set of risks.
You could also use the Alpha series of Big Daddies as a killer. They could only be bonded to one Little Sister, and when theirs died they’d either go into a depression-induced coma, die outright, or (in the case here) become completely and violently insane
This would be a groovy chapter.
I wish I could experience playing bioshock for the first time again.
Elizabeth Perk Ideas
Constants and Variables: After running through an unused pallet, Constants and Variable will activate for 7 seconds, while the perk is active, press the Activate Ability 1 button to open a tear, replacing the unused pallet with a dropped pallet. Constants and Variable will then go on cooldown for 120/90/60 seconds.
Catch!: Brown and Yellow Quality items you are holding have 10%/25%/50% more charges. While Crouched, press the Activate Ability 1 button to remove 50% of the charges from your held item, Those charges are then spread evenly to the held items of every survivor with 24m of you
Peeping Tom: While you are crouched, Peeping Tom activates, while Peeping Tom is active you can see the killers Aura within 42m and your aura is hidden from the killer. Once Peeping Tom has been active for a total of 60/90/120 seconds during the current trial, it deactivates permanently for the rest of the trial.
Literally my number one pick for a new chapter
Oh boy been looking forward to this one, thank you Pixel for finally doing a Potential and Problems for Bioshock
The "not aggressive at everything" is never a problem for DBD. Just do some entity mind manipulation and boom done. Not worth addressing.
Killer: Subject Delta
Ability: it was basically Oni, to start with, but I think it’s better if you have a limited fuel (can be changed with addons) Power Drill that can be spun up to do damage to everything in your path, including walls, pallets, and survivors.
Perks:
-Genetic enhancement: you move 20% faster, can lunge 33% further (stacks).
-Seeing Red: When in a chase, your Terror Radius is doubled (stacks) and your FOV is decreased by 5 degrees (stacks). When out of a chase, your FOV is increased by 5 degrees
-Best served cold: When the last generator is completed, all windows are blocked for;
-4 stacks: 60 seconds
-8 stacks: 120 seconds
-12 stacks: 180
Gain stacks by getting stunned in by any means
Outfits:
-armoured bouncer
Hats:
Rosie
Rumbler
Bouncer
I think Tenenbaum survivor could also work, as she plays integral role in bioshock 1, 2 minerva den and overall the lore. Her motivation would be to find and rescue lost little sisters
I would absolutely adore Bioshock being added into DBD. I'm excited about the possibilities of it.
Good luck figuring out Alan Wake. (stares in Final Draft) But seriously, have a good time there and Bioshock is such a good series and I'm so happy to see you look at it!
If this chapter were ever to come to DBD I can see several DBD characters getting Rapture skins, here’s my idea:
Thuggish Splicer: Doctor and Huntress
Leadhead Splicer: Deathslinger
Houdini Splicer: Wraith and Nurse
Spider Splicer: Onryo
Brute Splicer: Nemesis
Big Sister: Skull Merchant
Rumbler Big Daddy: Singularity
Brigid Tenanbaum: Felix Richter
Stanley Poole: Dwight Fairfield
Grace Haloway: Claudette or Elodie
Sofia Lamb: Kate Denson
Augustus Sinclair: Ace Visconti
Dr. Suchong: Jake Park
Never thought of giving Singularity a Rumbler skin but would work really well, good idea Pixel
thats silly
@@gregdrowned9873 what’s silly?
All I need is a Drill Rush attack on the Big Daddy and I'm sold
Please dbd add Bioshock
As a long time Bioshock 2 lover who couldn't even finish Infinite, it is very funny to me to hear Infinite described as the Black Sheep of the franchise, because all I ever used to hear was how Infinite was amazing and 2 was bad. Like, when did that stop being the majority view?
I noticed opinions started to shift when Burial at Sea came out and ppl got reminded just how GOATed Rapture is as a setting.
When the game stopped being new.
@@PixelBush Plus it didn't help that Burial at Sea was shockingly bad in the writing department. Also, it doesn't help that there hasn't been a new game in 11 years so people have had a LONG time to rethink things.
Bioshock would be so perfect. Its unquie style, and is very horror like in of itself. Also the skin potetinal would be cool
If huntress and the big daddy/little sister duo would meet, there would either be a fight for the Girl, or they both would protect her together.
Breaking pallets shocks nearby survivors making them scream,
Seeing the gen that has the most progress,
All the way up to being Enraged
Add ons can change these buffs too.
Drill Dash drains Adam time (Big Daddy’s usage)
+Big Daddy can’t be stun
-+Drill Dash works like demos lunge but further distance and has a stun effect if attack hits wall, miss)
-Big Daddy can’t Vault
Survivor: Tenenbaum
-Just a quick: thought
That sounds really stupid im not gonna lie boss
Honestly splicers could make for a great tie-in skin for the legion!
Thoughts after watching?
I would love to see Eleanor Lamb as a survivor, too.
That could work, but I'm not a fan of the implications of the bad ending being the Bioshcok 2 canon ending.
Blight should get a Splicer skin if Bioshock comes in
I find it funny that I wasn't the only one to think of big daddy as the killer (and using the little sister as a part of the power for him) and Elizabeth as the survivor.
So it would be something like:
Base Power - Drill Pound.
Hes kind of a good guy though, would hate to see him be turned into something he wantwd to reject
This is actually true. The lights that make up their eyes are color coded in the series to give visual indication of their behavioral status.
I wonder how lesser known killers could work like homelander or the dude from postal 1
We need Homelander, and nobody can say he doesn’t fit in because we have a damn teddy bear in the game…
@@WeaselArlington that's what I'm saying
Only problem with homelander is he's STUPIDLY OP compared to the other killers. And he can straight up fly.
@@thedoomslayer5863 Literally my only reason to doubt he is going to be added, balancing his powers would be a nightmare.
@@Wolf-oc6tx flying would probably be his ability. His mori could just laser you in half or something.
I have 2 questions about the power:
I think BHVR should do what they did with the Silent Hill chapter and bring a bit of every game of the franchise into one chapter
Like have the Rapture map from 1
BUT have the little sister from the second game as the killer (My concept would be that they have a Plasmid roulette similar to Knight's, where they have 3 different plasmids they could use to chase survivors or buff themselves, meanwhile the Little Sisters would have another power that allowed themselves to jump to walls and grab onto them before pouncing into the survivors)
And the survivor would be Elizabeth from Infinite, with her character bio being that shes the version that tried to chase after Comstock, but ended up in the Entity's realm by accident, and now she can't escape the trials
To be honest, I think that'd be a poor route to take, particularly when taking Infinite into account as it's easily the weakest game in the franchise.
Bioshock is a deeply personal and important franchise to me. You’ve certainly done it justice here, and I can admit that even if I don’t precisely agree with your choice of a Killer (Big Sister or bust!)
Personally, I’ve been working on a Big Sister Killer concept for a while but writers block has been kicking my ass in that department.
Hello what platform do you play on?
What I want from this series but even more so from behavior itself is exploration of ideas and how they'll interact with console not just pc. Folks like Nurse and Blight are top tier in PC matches but way harder to control on console so I'd like more mobility stuff and powers to think of that when designing new killers
I honestly expected Andrew Ryan as survivor
An underwater map would be awsome, i imagine a section with a long tunnel made out of glass that lets you see the depths of the sea
Small adendum. When I mentioned 1/3rd enraged I meant similar to how spirit fury works.
I've never played bioshock, but if I'm gonna support fnaf in dbd I might as well support bioshock
Ive been dreaming of Rapture since I was taken into the fog back in 2021.
Id kinda like to see him as a off-trap killer, the sister just harasses survivors and they can either lead her to a hole (slowdown) or kick her (giving daddy rage)
Im happy with more dash killers, esp cos he could just be single charge slam forward bringing anyone he hits with him and I guess similar to wesker but without the infection or sideways directions
Funniest part about bioshock was that Elizabeth was so popular, it boosted 3d modeling, animation, and code breaking just so people can make 34 of her.
Like, literally the reason overwatch 2 had their models hacked within 2 days was because of Elizabeth.
Before playing Alan Wake 2 you must play Control and it’s Alan Wake centric dlc AWE
The events of the game tied directly to the events of Alan Wake 2
Also after finishing the first Alan Wake you should play Alan Wake: American Nightmare as the story is not only an early draft of The Return something that can be seen in Alan Wake 2 only by playing it
It also reveals what happened to some of the characters from the first game that are absent in AW2
As well as showcasing the extent of the reality warping capabilities of the Dark Place
My main complaint with the idea of a big sister skull merchant is that the money I've already spent on sm cosmetics would go to waste because I'd only play her as a big sister XD
crazy that this video pops up 20 minutes before i search for bioshock in dbd
If Elizabeth did come in as a survivor, it would be awesome if she had a boon that added/swapped pallets and walls in the affected area
Bruh 4 suevivors creating god pallets out of trash loops sounds awful.
I had a idea where survivors could pick up little sister like in bioshock 2 multiplayer, buffing some of their stats.
@@dragonbornexpress5650 No, I mean Subject Delta, the main character of Bioshock 2.
It would be interesting if (theoretically) BHVR made 3-4 maps based on the different areas in the game
Doubtful.
soooooo excited for Alan Wake.
Hopefully we can get a potential and problems with Joker and Homelander one of these days.
Thank God for me I play all three BioShock games it's great!
I hope that you will do a video like this for a possible Dying Light chapter, it has so much potential
Big daddy is one of the killers I want the most.
Maps: Medical Pavillion or Fort Frolic (complete with plastered bodies scattered around)
Killer cosmetic ideas: Bouncer, Rosie, Rumbler, Lancer, Brute Splicer, Handyman, Motorized Patriot (preferably one in the shape of Comstock for reasons), etc.
11:27
Shut up and take my money.
For real though, I love the Big-Sisters.
I'm really surprised seeing this pop up, I love bioshock to death, and it would be great if it was in the game
Hey pixel can you do a video on what if You were in dead by daylight! I’d love to see what perks you’d make for yourself!
As a huge BioShock fan if a Rapture chapter is added in DbD I'd bite the bullet and pick up DbD for once.
If we dont get this, then a thematic skin for the twins would be cool.
If they add bioshock, I like the to be big daddies hybrid character, maybe a specialist big daddies acting as conglomerate for all the big dadies
I have a 30-minute break. This is worth my time.
Hi pixel bush hope you are well.
This was imo an amazing concept chapter and my no.1 pick for dbd (have played the game before its in my top 5) can't wait too see what your next potential and problem videos to come. Btw would you ever consider 'long shot' chapters as one of these videos cause I think it would be interesting (my choice for these types of chapter would be Postal) never the less have a good day
Can you do a Thanksgiving: The Potential and Problems video?
An indoor rapture map would be so beautiful and probably poorly designed lmao
Oh, it would most likely be RPD 2.0. That being said, BioShock 2's multiplayer has a bunch of maps based on previously explored areas throughout the franchise so there's at least some form of template to base a DBD map off of. (They could even turn it into it's own realm with the various districts serving as locations within that realm, something they haven't done for YEARS.)
WE'RE GETTING OUT OF RAPTURE WITH THIS ONE!!!
Is it just me or did anyone else always wonder why BioShock one often is listed among horror games? Because I know horror like humour is kinda objective but I really don't see what is supposed to be scary about the game sure I love BioShock don't get me wrong I just never understood that part about the community
I’d say the answer on whether or not we COULD get it is a 95% yes.
Id love this as a chapter.
but I'd like to see you make a concept for A QUiet Place in DBD. I have a concept I can send you if your intereseted
Nah nah 11:28 adaptors mechanicus
Her power literally is just perfect for that skin
you ate with this one
I think I'd commit war crimes for this chapter to become a thing. Bioshock is my all time favorite game series and it would be so cool
What if big daddy was a legendary cosmetic for twins with a little sister who leaps on survivors and tears into the. With the Adam harvesters
The potential far outweighs the problems holy wow the prospects of this video excite me and with Lara Croft joining I’m seeing this chapter becoming more likely.
I knew bioshock was going to win, and was happy to see it do so, but voted for Repo in hope.
Rapture has to be a map if bioshock is visited, you can't do the series justice otherwise!
Unfortunately burial at sea introduced more plot holes than it solved
Hey what happened to the Megan potentials and problems?
Already a video about that; 4 months ago now.
@@dragonbornexpress5650thank you so much😭😭
@@goldeyexxbroly3514. You're welcome.
14:43 funny you mention the chapter system when it's not there.
