I haven’t even been able to use the top January baits yet! Obligations, events and/or weather impacted my Jan weekends. You know, life in general. And Feb looks wrapped up for all but just one weekend. Ugh! Need. Fishing. Now!

I do like that Luhr -Jensen too , there is just something about that crankbait that catches em
I totally agree the skill level has declined. I mostly wish ponds and rivers but kids today think in terms of magic lures, instead of understanding bass

Go to Temo not the most expensive baits but they do catch fish I guarantee it because I bought some from there and I have caught a ton of bass on them very very reasonable price give a shot
I've had great success on a 1/3 oz. Cleo spoon in February and March. A simple long cast and slow retrieve. Especially on warm windy overcast days.
I have a mud bottom like with no steep drop offs. All depth changes are very gradual. Should I disregard all of these lures since rock and steep banks were mentioned in every lure profile.

Randy, Your a pro. All baits work year around in open water, just say let the fish tell you what they want. Wake up. I can use any bait I want and catch bass on them. Fishing is always an experiment every day.

Try Berkley Stuna Jerk Baits good bait about $10 less. Also Bass Pro has some good crank bait much cheaper
Strike King makes an affordable flat side. It wont go as deep as the Z-3 but Strike King has never done me wrong.
The mega bass was the only overpriced one.??
Go TAMU they're not the most well-made but they do catch fish you can get cheap lures give it a shot
