I totally agree he has done a brilliant job in changing the culture and mentality of the England team as well as knowing how to set is up against different teams but it when it came to playing the very best he was just to indecive in key moments in the biggest games. Hopefully the next manager will take us to next stage
I agree the next manager probably should be English, but I would be open to foreign managers so long as they get the English culture and the English team. Thomas Frank could be a good one for example
Goodbye South Gate what an incredible 8 years he has been as Englands 🏴Manager we hope has a great future journey ahead farewell Mr South Gate ❤😢 now that question is who will take over and i think it was the right decision for him to step down but he has been an incredible manager and I am sure England 🏴 fans will miss him with the nations league in September and world cup in 2 years let’s hope this new manager whoever it is gets England 🏴 a trophy 🏆
Felt this was coming all summer really but I think he would have finalised this decision after the beer cups/booing incidents which is really sad but it's still the right footballing decision. He's bought England back to relevance as an international team and it's been a pleasure to be on the journey, but now it's time for a higher calibre coach to progress the group on.
This England 🏴 manager will go down as a true legend the memories of this England 🏴 team Kiran Trippiers free kick against Croatia 🇭🇷 in the world cup semi final in 2018 Jude Bellinghams overhead kick against Slovakia 🇸🇰 in Euro 2024 and Cole palmers ice cold goal against Spain 🇪🇸 In the final we were so close to a trophy but he will remember those memories goodbye MR Southgate 😢
My thoughts on the favourite names about if I want them. Graham Potter: No Lee Carsley: Yes Eddie Howe: No Maurichio Pochettino: No Jurgen Klopp: No Thomas Tuchel: Yes (2nd choice) Frank Lampard: No Joachim Lowe: No Ralf Rangick: No
Graham Potter has been out of work for over a year, I don't think he makes our best players better, I don't think he makes us much better than what we are now and he doesn't international experience. Howe is a decent option but I don't know if he would be adaptable enough. Plus I have at least two preferred options. Rangnick has been impressive with Austria but I doubt his style benefits our pool of players
I share your thanks to Gareth Southgate. 5 things he has brought us: - Much better culture within the England team. - Being back to competing with the best. - Winning penalty shootouts (3 out of 4 won) and the physiological aspect. - Winning opening games of the Euros. - Getting to Euro finals.
Losing games we could have easily won. Being afraid of teams we are objectively better than. This isn't 1996 - England actually have many of the best players in thr world these days.
Will be interesting to see if the next manager does any better. I doubt it very much, I think Southgate will be sorely missed and we'll go backwards. He had to go though, media and fans were becoming too toxic. The exact same is going to happen to Potter, Howe or Carsley, except I fail to see how they are an improvement. Hope we all enjoyed getting to finals, won't see that again for a long time, just madness, not been to a final for almost 60 years, Southgate gets us to two and he gets more criticism than anyone? Anyway, I can see some sort of future where Southgate goes to manage the USA and beats us in the world cup 😂.
Yes I see your point but there was a predictable pattern with Southgate to many times in big games he became to hestistant and not pro active enough to win anything. If the next Manger plays more on the front.foot and be more proactive things will be different
2 finals when southgate is manager that's achievement just because england are not like man city not all the blame is on him so stop being a hater and be a supporter
mush i can tell you’re young believe me if you ever had to experience anything pre-southgate you’d give him some respect - although then again maybe not you get some weirdos who saw us lose to iceland and still say he’s our worst ever manager 🤣
Gareths got my everlasting respect but as for who replaces him I've no idea...I don't like any of them on that list...I like klopp but how realistic is that?...not very...I like poch and I've heard he actually wants the job but Christs sakes he's Argentinian! ...he'll get very little leeway with the fan's...potter?...yeah right ...Howe maybe...so yeah not sure
🎶Looking back on when we first met🎶 🏴🏴🏴 Thank you Gareth for everything! 🙏💔

This man deserves respect 🫡 good luck on your next adventure journey South Gate
He should get a job at the FA he’d be perfect overseeing things

Absolute idol of mine and will be forever

Best England manager of all time.
To be honest, he said he came to improve English football... He did exactly that.
@@22carmoon absolutely mate.
Goodbye Gareth!
Great journey, sad for him that he couldn’t achieve it

Good players, average manager.
Let’s hope this New England 🏴 manager gets us over that important line

Sad to see him go. He got so close. I'm excited to see what our next manager has to offer
Grapham potter will probably be our next manager
or Thomas Tuchel
@@dariussalepetru6770 I'm not a fan on thomas tuchel as I just can't see it happening when graham potter I can

Thanks for being better than Steve Mclaren, a guy who couldn't speak English and not losing to Iceland.
Idc About Gareth Southgate He made us lose
Ridiculous comment

@LiamGwilt-qj8ke he has done more for English football than we know and I don't think it will be obvious until he has gone and someone new comes in

Yeah Made 2 Finals Yet Alone Not winning One and I'm not Hating I'm just Saying His Tactics Was Crap
