I think the origin of the name also comes from cachaça itself, since it was what the country people drank (other than artesanal wine), it got called like that. Some people started adding the basic sour formula to better shug those rough beverages, and then the name got associated with the drink. Nowadays most people will do it with vodka (or sake, if it's a strawberry one), some also use Jambu cachaça, since it has a more interesting taste than the normal one and leaves your tongue numb 🤪 (we have some orange lemons that go really well with Jambu)

Great recipe Rico! But a suggestion from a Brazilian: remove the white part from the lime and be careful while pressing the limes in the glass. It releases a lot of zesty flavor and the results is a super strong drink.

I like my whisky sour as shake and dump as well, putting it on a martini glass and all that feel like too much ceremony, specially if I'm not using egg white hehe

      @@absolutdrinks both!
The old videos had a very high quality. They where on point. No time wasted, purely informative. Perfect for sharing. Unique as far as i know. But due to their nature very repetetive.
The new style is a common cook show. The only special part from its resume is its about drinks. They are also very long for something rather simple. But due to their nature they have more effort in them. They mimic a casual set fairly well (you are funded by ABSOLUT after all).
The extra info is for the most part very handy. At least to tell something to your guests while making some of the drinks. Folks love trivia.
So its good and bad. Both have their appeal.
The only thing I generally dislike are the thumbnails. I know it works but they are such boring clickbait. Looks trashy imo. But thats me and Im a singular. Which is lowkey unimportant for a business, isnt it?
