I loved that so many good things happened to Chandler in Thanksgiving, telling Monica he loved her and being accepted by her parents, that he eventually warmed up and even offered to help with Thanksgiving.

It's weird seeing scenes like this where Rachel is kind of odd man out where everyone else knows each other more intimately since she joined the group that was already close with each other.

Well, it would have made more sense if she knew all of this already as they all hung out when they went to colleague. There were many episodes about it. So she must have heard this story just as much as Monica and Ross
@@Ruslana_Bobrivska Rachel would have only hung out with Chandler a few times as he was Ross’ friend in college. It makes sense that she wouldn’t really know much about him or remember him. Chandler and Monica had the chance to make friends with each other as adults.

That's why it's always a bad time for parents to tell their kid that they're getting a divorce during a holiday, I feel really bad for Chandler for and I get why he hates Thanksgiving.

I soo would love to have friends like these! Everybody is genuinely caring and loving each other like family, that you can trust. Joey - the protector food lover type of guy, Chandler - the goofy funny type of guy,
Ross - the drama queen but sweet type of guy,
Phoebe - the story-teller have faith in you kind of girl,
Monica -the motherly love obsessive cleaning type of girl,
Rachel - the silly caring type of girl.

At this point, she only knew Monica and (less closely) Ross from before. The writers later changed it, giving her a history with Chandler. Genius show, but the continuity wasn't the best...
@no way I agree. Too much suff got connected, kinda like prequel movies, and some stuff, like Monica causing Chandler to lose a toe, was so obviously not thought of until the episode where they showed it. They rewrote the history.
Because it's Rachel. Queen Rachel does whatever she wants in her little Rachel land. Why should she has to care other person life than her, and her not attractive friend?
So basically, Monica was not just a friend, but also a mom to everyone, a HOT MOM......
