That was a lot of fun! I'm looking forward to your Animorphs video. I started reading them back in April -- I had never read any or seen the show -- and have 15 left to go. Some are surprisingly deep, and there are frequent ethical dilemmas. And there is some really gross horror. I hope you enjoy them as much as I have. My only quibble is with the titles -- they tell you next to nothing about the content of the story. I take quick notes when I'm done so I'll be able to remind myself what each was about.

I found you a long time ago through Neeks and am grateful for her shouting you out in one of her vids playing your TBR game. I have found my love for middle grade because when I was younger there was no middle grade in the library, it was children's, YA (which was 4-5 small bookcases in my library at the time), and adult as well as nonfiction. I may have read middle grade and didn't know it, but as an adult I can appreciate these books even more and be able to pass them on to my kids or grandkids someday. Also, I remember the original movie of Flowers in the Attic and there were some traumatizing scenes, I think I know which one you're talking about. I was anywhere between 8-10 when I saw it which would be the years of 1989-1991 and even worse still my grandma let me watch it although between her and my mom I watched a lot of shows and movies I shouldn't have watched...lol. I think I read the book once, but I would have to read it again to be sure. And Then There Were None is a good place to start because that's where I started as well and I loved it and am hoping this year to read Murder on the Orient Express and then maybe get my hands on Death on the Nile. I read the webtoon of Lore Olympus and I love it sm. The drama gets wild in the later seasons of it! sometimes I forget it's a retelling of the myth tbh.
