Not all fights are Highway Star and Sheer Heart Attack fights, that's would be to ask too much.
But the only fight from Part 4 that I kinda disliked was Josuke vs Akira Otoishi, because I think that fight wasn't on par with the other fights we got in that part.

... Diamond. Is. Amazing. It gave me the best feels of the entire series. More re-readable than part 6 (depressing), better characters than 5 (most everyone is just another asshole, even GioGio is an asshole) and part 3 is Araki's Vacation gone horribly wrong (I jest, it's alright)
I've finished Jojo's yes. Currently reading Jojolion. I'm reading raws but my Japanese is slowww so it does take some time.
That is a really good question. I kind of want to marinate in it for a while because there are a lot of answers I can give you but they wouldn't be as thought out as I like. A quick one to sate your curiosity for the moment is the varying topics that part 4 tackles: male mentorship (Joeseph and Josuke, Jotaro and Josuke, Kira and his Father, Kira and his adopted son), Morioh's culture as a living entity (figurative), Rohan as an analgue for adult Araki vs Koichi as an analogue for child Araki. Those are just a few things that contribute to creating the feels I've experienced. I hope that helps :)
+WhiteBlood I re-read part 5 [translated by JojosColoredAdventure (in color this time) which I find is a HUGE improvement on the Ignition One translation]. While I still have some reservations on a couple of the characters (I dislike a majority of Passione, but I think that is the intended point.) I find Giorno to be more sympathetic this time around. I feel like a lot of these characters would be more likable if their mental and personality disorders came into play more with the story as apart of it just being a part of who they are. The most useful effect of it is definitely Mistah's phobia of the number four. His superstition is used as a gag for a lot of the story but when it comes to battle it becomes a really serious problem which I GREATLY appreciate.
I'm glad you turned out to be reasonable. I was simultaneously having a discussion on a streetfighter trailer on how one or two of Chunli's moves are inspired by Jolyne and a fanboy just FLIPPED OUT. I had to mute him at the end of the day. Just goes to show: Jojos Fans > Streetfighter fans.

Bitch, DiU was better than Stardust Crusaders as a whole. SC had better moments that were actually relevant to the plot, but I felt that DiU was a lot more ridiculous.
