OK, I’m just starting this video and this is the first one of yours I’ve seen but can I say first of all I absolutely adore that backsplash so if you know what pattern that is, I would appreciate it. I’m going to listen while I drive and I can’t wait to hear, your recipe because I love baked beans

I’ve never seen anyone else use these glass lids!!! Where do you get your rubbers?

My husband loves baked beans, I’ll have to give this recipe a go. Your backsplash is absolutely beautiful, so cheerful but not overwhelming, love it! 😊

Cheryl i wish I had seen your recipe before I made mine. I like your ing. better. i soaked mine overnight and added the sauce the next day and heated it up. I processed them for 90 min but when I opened a jar the next day The beans were not done.So i processed them again and they turned out ok.

It really depends on the bean you use.
You can soak them over night , rinse the off and change the water and then bring the up to a boil.
When I’m just canning dry beans . I mainly rinse them off , go through them and rinse again . Then jar them up in pints. Add hot boiling water to them and pressure can for 75 minutes . They come out fine.

You need to do it! So easy!
And when winter sets in, nothing like reaching for something you home canned.
Always brings a smile to my face when I pop the top!

Have you ever recanned #10 can of Bushes Beans? I grabbed a few that were on sale….and would love to can them….it’s just 2 of us?

      No I never recan #10 cans .
It should take the same a mount of time in a pressure canner

i always enjoy your videos. i have a question: i have tried quite a few "better than bush's beans", none of them end up being a good duplicate in my husband's estimation. i personally love any sweet beans! what do you think i'd need to add, or subtract, that'd make your recipe a good clone of bush's baked beans? thanks so much!

I would need to know what recipe you used or what your husband did not like about it.
Before. I can give you a suggestion on adding or subtracting .
