What kind of question is that? You have to be really certain the is going to steal like actually seeing the person physically put the items in there purse or big bag etc. So sorry you had to experience that uncomfortable situation.😮
I rather buy healthy foods instead of paying medical bills. Trust. I used to frequent the ER. Now, I’m adjusting to the prices because I have no choice. I prefer that over medical bills any day.
Agree. I grow as much as I can and freeze a bunch. At least I know it's organically grown. The crap they spray food with is criminal. Europe & Canada won't even take it.
Meanwhile here in Ca twice I’ve seen people walk out the front door with full carts at target and no one says anything I’m sorry this happened to you
We’re not grocery outlet fans we got gift cards once and used them and we’re grateful but not fans but I’ll admit your grocery outlet looks better then the one we went to but it was years ago maybe they have upped their game since
Grocery Outlet in my area has no bargains. Greetings from Philadelphia PA USA
Forget those annoying people, keep vlogging wherever you want!
Thanks!
Prices are insane in CA too
Everything is going up in price. Here in Norway i try to budget my grocerys to around 500 dollars a month. But if i dont buy just price down items i would have to pay over 1000 dollar's a month. And we are a family of 5. Great videos Amanda. Love to watch. Hugs from Norway
@@karinoddan aww thank you friend! That is so much to eat! Gluten free is what’s costing the post, the two items I’m my haul that where the most expensive
Gah! I’m surprised she even comes up to people who she thinks are stealing ! Here they are told don’t say anything because it’s not worth it if the person stealing might hurt the workers!
I’m mad for you !
I'm in Quebec, Canada and I just checked---those Minute Maid juice boxes that you picked up for 0.67$ are on sale this week at my grocery store for 3.49$ 🥴
@@Jennifer.Lee.Taylor yikes you have to watch the dates on the stuff though
I loved this vlog. Sorry how you were treated. When you said outlet I was thinking cheap prices. It seems hit or miss. I see some awesome deals and others are ridiculous. I live on the Texas gulf coast. I paid $2.89 for milk. $3.39 for 18 eggs. Thanks Amanda!
How much is meat there?
@@AmandasBudgets Due to the holiday there's a lot of great sales. I paid $4.99 for ribeye and $2.99 for ground chuck.
I'm in south Texas and to my knowledge we don't have a grocery outlet near us. From what you've shown, although there seems to be some deals to be had for sure, for an "outlet" store the prices seemed to me to be higher than usual overall. I would probably shop there but just take advantage of the deals that I knew were less than I was finding elsewhere, and then skip everything else, lol.
I can honestly say that I’m Canada our groceries are much more expensive than in the U.S. I wish we had an Aldi and that the dollar trees here had frozen food section. I do envy your grocery stores
Be careful with target some stuff is too pricey there 😂 even at mine it's worse
@@chaoticallysay2625 target is way overpriced and Walmart here is very expensive as well
My best choice eggs for 12 counts was $5 and some change. But with a digital a $1.00 coming off made it to be $4.00 and my store is called Food Giant
People are casing places to steal. Stores by us have everything behind lock and key, soap, laundry detergent...because everyone is stealing. It sucks, but workers are being extra cautious.
That crazy you guys have that bad of issues I’m in a town with 7k people
I live in ny state prices are high here as well bought groceries it was 50.00 2 bags they weren't even full
I think the Freschetta pizza is the best frozen pizza made. The leftovers are even good microwaved 2-3 days later.
Amen
Some of the stuff in your groceries is actually cheaper than mine! Our H‑E‑B tends me be our low prices store here in Texas, but there are stuff that seem to be priced the same, but your deals at your grocery store are definitely much cheaper for sure. To get stuff under $1 is something I’m jealous about!!
Yes this store most definitely has cheaper stuff but some of it isn’t healthy and it’s easy to cherry pick - if you don’t know what cherry picking is essentially it’s a term from the 60s and 70s where are you only shop certain items at certain stores because the price is cheaper
@@AmandasBudgets that’s so true, the unhealthy food is the only stuff that gets the deals, that’s why I can’t even coupon cause the coupons don’t really work with what I want to buy for my household unfortunately 😢 only sometimes it works out with like, detergent stuff which I tend not to buy very often (yay for rationing soap!)
@@AmandasBudgets I gotta cherry pick more often!! I get so tired from work that I kinda don’t even wanna go store to stores, but I know it would be worth the bank if I cherry picked
Eggs!!! I went to Walmart and they were $18.99, so I checked Sam's Club and they were $11.99. What is going on with the crazy pricing?? I always buy milk on Wednesdays because the local stores sell it for $1.99. I shop the ad's weekly and end up shopping at 4 different stores chasing the best deals. It's crazy out there.
Walmart makes their money on the individual products that they sell, and Sam's Club on their memberships. They are priced differently because of that.
TX, I got 3 lbs of yellow onions for $1.99 on Tuesday and a watermelon for $3.99. I was pleased with that price. I was much less pleased that milk was $3.67 for a gallon and eggs were $3.28 for a dozen.
They had 5lb yellow potatoes at our walmart 5.99 I thought that was nuts. It just keeps going up. 😢
That was so crazy!! She was just being nosey 😂😂. GV milk is $3.30 a gallon and I had to buy 60 count of eggs for $18.98 they were only $11.00 a week ago
Some bacon has added flavors that contain gluten so its good they label the packaging as gluten free
@@hillary6700 interesting 🤨 I didn’t know that thank you
So she had no right to ask you that question. That is against the law. You do not approach the customer and ask that. I would of walked out or at least spoke to the manager about it. Oh and who doesn’t walk around and be on their phone constantly.
I was very confused 🤔
Please get yourself some veggie dip. :-)
Aww thank you 😊
In Canada butter is $8.99 😢
What an ignorant thing to say to a customer! I don't think the merchant deserves your business. And I didn't see any other customers in there. She must have run off everyone with her attitude
Right? Strange people in the little town I live in
Hey here watching
Prices have risen so much in my area.
Southern California, so yeah… HCOLA. 😑 Some of those prices look comparable to my regular store. Regular gas is $4.19 a gallon so I don’t go to a bunch of stores because it wouldn’t be gas effective.
lol people are so stupid sometimes. Smh how in the world is recording while shopping stealing if you ask me that would be a dumb idea to be recording if you are going to steal 😂. These prices are much cheaper then ours in Colorado least my side.
Yes I thought the same thing I’m like what…Colorado is very expensive!!! This is a discount store I will show you guys the Safeway And Albertsons in the area but Winco prices beat them all.
The only thing I really don’t like about discount stores is you have to look at the expiration date and a lot of times if things are really cheap you have to eat them right away
It may have been the fact that you were videoing prices that they were following you . I used to work at Walmart years ago and the department managers would be sent to other stores to check prices . One drug store would walk behind the price shoppers with a big sign saying ‘ this is a price shopper if their prices are cheaper why are they checking prices’. Now with store apps and receipts scanning apps no one price shops or even price match other stores .
@@beckyshell4649 I doubt that this is a small town of 7k people I think she was just nosy
lol they’re just not use to it. So so many videos of Costco stores so they need to get with it
From $37K to $45K that's the minimum range of profit return every week I thinks it's not a bad one for me, now I have enough to pay bills and take care of my family.
Which unfortunately takes 2/3 of congressional support in each state in order to enact
It's either we invest OR get rid of
the Electoral College and let We the People of the United States of America choose our own leaders!
It would require a constitutional amendment, so it's more something to work towards than something likely to happen any time soon I will invest for the tomorrow.
whomsoever created the Electorate College was a whimp, certainly. Haha just cash 70k from crypto 💯
RIGHT!
Vote ALL Republicans out of office NOW and FOREVER!
Bye-Bye Electoral College.
I worked for a Big Box retailer and it was against company policy to film or take pictures. Times have changed in recent years but retailers don’t want people or competitors to document their prices and sales. I haven’t finished the video but I wonder if they have a similar policy.
I found out it’s not illegal there are so many other UA-camrs out there that do videos like this. I haven’t done many at all
No definitely not illegal but a business can “refuse service to anyone” so I just know it was in our employee handbook that photography and video was prohibited and applied to customers as well. 🤷🏻♀️the assumption of theft is pretty dumb if you ask me and leaves them open for liability.
I believe Costco has a policy like that, you're supposed to contact them to get permission because they don't want their members to have to worry about being filmed and I think there's other rules that the vlogger is supposed to follow. Granted they are a membership club so they may have more ability to enforce those kinds of rules. I want to say I saw a Safeway somewhere in Oregon that had it posted that no filming was allowed (maybe had too much trouble with people doing tiktok/influencer stuff and getting in the way of shoppers). Whether people follow those expected rules and are getting permission is hard to say, I wouldn't be surprised if they weren't and if it is a public store I don't know if that posted notice is enforceable or not.
@@MistakesWereMade-MWM I see lots of UA-camrs film in Costco
@@AmandasBudgets So do I. No idea if they are following Costco's filming requirements or not though. I haven't looked into it in a while so they may have changed their policy.
Grocery outlet is more expensive IMO.
What’s IMO?
@@AmandasBudgets In my opinion
I think she probably had good intentions but still that's wild. Definitely not the right way to go about it. I have seen people vlog in the store before but I know what they're doing and it doesn't bother me. I'm glad you talked about prices in this video as that really does help me. I'd rather hear you talk then listen to the music but that's just me. I'm going shopping tomorrow for next week, I have a $20 weekly budget. Sometimes my Grocery outlet has good deals but I usually do most of my shopping at Waremart. Also, please don't feel discouraged to vlog again in the store, it's really not as weird as people think. And I think that ladies comment about the 2025 possible economic collapse and people stocking up sounds not that far fetched. I could see something like that happening.
From the way you talk, I thought your prices would be a lot higher in your area. Everything that showed prices were either the same else or cheaper than here in Tennessee! And we have a 7.95% sales tax on food and 3% county tax! Your eggs are cheaper by a little over $1.00....
@@carlamurray9634 gluten free is expensive
That chicken was nosy as all get out girl! I don’t think some of the prices are bad but they are not great. I’m in Cali I feel you but your income tax is WAY high like mine. I just made a payment to my student loan about the same as my car payment
Kentucky-our milk is $3.19 a gallon. The individual salads in the round container is $2.97 and the chopped salads are $3.48 and $3.98.
Great info thank you
Live in California I love Aldi that’s the cheapest store but if I need anything from somewhere else I just get it I like Albertsons when they have buy 2 soda 12 packs and get three free I’m a bargain shopper so I go for the sales I try not to pay full price for anything
I don’t know if you saw but a case of soda here is $10 minimum
OMG $10 for soda that’s crazy cheapest at a market is 4.99
@@lupeochoa7482 yes we try not to drink it
Packages salad was on sale for $3 today. (PA)
❤ good evening how are you doing today ❤
I’m in Ct, your prices don’t seem to bad, it’s crazy the way the prices are going so high, Blessings
She probably have limited experience with people vlogging in the store and didnt know how to react. We could agrue that if you were going to steal, you wouldnt be recording it as it draws more attention to you. Some of the things you showed were cheaper and other things were similar. Those pretzel buns are delicious and if i live close I would stock up on that sale. Hahaha. I think here they are easily at least 5 if not 6 bucks. I am going you have to look now just to confirm.
Nothing is cheaper since 4 years ago.
I know people shop differently but I try not to pick up too many items unless I intend to buy it or them. That probably made her suspicious, besides the camera. It was not smart of her to ask you if you were planning to steal. Not sure if it's even legal. Did she expect you to say "Yeah, that's what I'm doing"? It's pretty clear that there was minimal training for her position.
During the pandemic, they actually had signs out asking people to try to minimize how much stuff we touched in the grocery store. I think the attitude has rolled over and it is definitely frowned on to go around picking things up randomly.
Some stores, they have rules about recording in the stores. So maybe ask if you're allowed to record in their store. This way you don't encounter these kinds of situations.
2025 economy crash what a lunatic 😅 does she have a crystal ball 🔮
I don’t know why anybody is even questioning it. We’re in a recession.
@@AmandasBudgets if this is a recession, then we're not even close to the full impact.
Colorado milk $3.39 salad are around 3.99 to 4.29 .lol, really bacon gluten free who knew 😮. Higher than Colorado on some lower on others. Eggs are outrageous. No those bread prices are ridiculous. What is their problem? Wtf that is so rude none of your business 😒 😤
I thought about making a complaint but then thought 💭 well I will let it go, nosy 🧐 people. Meat is very high here and most dairy. I will do another in Winco we can all compare prices
Milk 3.59
Bread 3.50
Chicken 7-8 bucks for a 4 pack
Steak 27-30
Prices are crazy everywhere!
Eggs are anywhere from 3.50 to 5.00 on MN right now, even at the so-called cheaper stores.
Where do you live?
@@AmandasBudgets North of Twin Cities in Centerville
The prices in the stores and Alabama where I live or so unreal I go shopping now at the dollar tree and Dollar General. I do buy some stuff at Walmart, but I can’t afford it. My dogs ate more than I do. It’s a sad state of affairs we are in. The last time I went shopping to buy really good food I started crying in the store because I couldn’t afford what I really needed to buy. that’s when I decided it was time to quit shopping and grocery stores. It’s just too much for me to handle.
This is just grocery outlet prices I will post videos in other stores. This is very low but every month prices rise. The unfortunate part about living in Oregon as they take 24% of my check for taxes because they don’t pay tax on food. So either way I’m paying.
@@AmandasBudgets I saw some really good prices on stuff that I buy those salads two for six what the deal I think that. I guess she thought maybe you were going to you taking pictures of things and somebody else is gonna come in and steal what you had on your camera. I don’t know if I have been you. I would’ve said I’m fixing to check out, would you like to check me out, that’s done and it would’ve got her.❤ keep on doing you. It’s not against the law for you to use your camera and record anywhere ,if she had asked the wrong person that she might’ve been on the floor.
Cheese 8-12
Cereal is the one that breaks me 😭 I love it but $7-8 a box is a no. I am in Massachusetts. Why does my favorite snack have to be soooo expensive?!
Do you have a CVS ot Walgreens near you? They have sales on cereal all the time
@@desireesalas5820 oh thanks! I will check it out the next time I go ☺
OMG my bargain market is way way cheaper than yours
Yeah it’s not a bargain I might do a comparable video to Winco those prices I can afford even Gluten Free is way way cheaper
