Hi bro, that was an informative video. One of the rare videos that show modding on this keyboard. Do you know what kind of akko switches I should use if I want it to be more silent as i am using it in an office environment? Thanks!
Hi bro! Really appreciate your kind words! For akko switches, seems like you'll only be able to use their older model switches such as all the akko CS switches. Sadly looks like they're running low on stock and I'm not sure if the new models like the penguin silent 5 pins are outemu socket compatible if you clip off the plastic 2 pins, so not sure if you would want to take the risk. If you want a silent switch, maybe can try Outemu silent peach V1 (Do not get V2 and above cause they're 5 pins) or other Outemu 3 pin silent switches!
Hi, yeah it is compatible with SOME 3 pin switches (Mainly Akko and Outemu)! I replaced it with akko's 3 pin switches! Maybe just verify your keyboard is the version 2 one (USB C), in case it was an update. Also, other people online have mentioned it's using outemu hotswap sockets, so outemu switches should work!
@@keebboardwarrior im so disappointed with this keyb. I was going to place an order and then i found out its outemu socket and only compatible with wraith or outemu switches im so disappointed
@@dash7330 it's alright. I'm still using it at office cause I need the numpad. But man, not a lot of switches we can swap it with... But honestly, I would rather u consider alternative ones? Unless this is much cheaper
@@keebboardwarrior im not into modding i will just use it for games u think its just fine? I also saw some posts that you can just clip 5 pins switches to make it 3 pins to make it fit or make the pins thinner a little bit
@@keebboardwarrior i prefer full size keyboard because a lot of pbt backlit keycaps are available with it and compact keyboards are so limited with pbt keycaps :(
@@dash7330 yeah it's good enough. Yeap, u can clip the 5 pins to make it 3 pins, but after clipping, you will also need to clip the metal pins in the 3 pins if they aren't outemu compatible, which a lot are. And there's a risk of cutting too much, then the switch won't work. But if you aren't doing any modding, then it shouldn't be any issue! I don't understand what you mean about the backlit keycaps with compact keyboards though. The keycaps can just swap out as long as they're MX style
@@keebboardwarrior what i mean about keycaps is when it comes to compact mech keyboards pbt backlit keycaps are so limited i cannot find one online. All pbt keycaps are not backlit which i dont like. But full size keyboards have a lot of pbt backlit keycaps

Is it compatible with other 3 pins switches? Like outemu or kailh? Because tecware claims its only compatible with wraith switches

My gateron yellows couldn't fit unless I clipped the pins

how hard was it to remove the stock switches on this board? is it tight like outemu socket mech keyboards?
Hi mate! Yeap, it felt quite tight so do use a good switch puller for this! The one provided was good but ur thumb may get tired after awhile haha
From where did you buy the keyboard bro?
Hi bro! Bought mine from these links
Keyboard: shope.ee/1AwtZJf42w
Shroud (Get the V2): shope.ee/9Uc1UkxJD7
Software: www.tecware.co/software
Thx bro@@keebboardwarrior
Im going to buy this now. Is it worth it? Good quality? No issues so far?
