Really enjoyed these interviews, my heart sank when she said her husband passed after 1.5 years. Nice to hear though that they received awesome care for such a affordable price. Really looking forward to my tour May 27. Thanks
Great video. Thank you. I just retired in the US. I'll be going to Panama, most likely, very early in 2025. I'll wait for the dry season before going over. I think I'll do about 6 weeks for my first trip. From afar, I'm loving the Volcan area. I'm looking forward to my trip.
Glad you both are enjoying the good life as they are learning your accent as you are learning their spanish. Really enoyed your cool attitude and your information. Can't wait to visit Panama and visiting the country and area.
Very nice video! Love the puppies! Hey, with a residential visa how long must I stay if I visit once every two years in order for the visa to remain current?? Thank you !
Very pleased to see a Volcan focused video. Let's see more of Volcan and its ex-pats and locals. More on the town proper please and transportation modes. Must you have a car if you locate in Volcan?
@@PanamaRelocationTours I have watched them but don't think my major questions were answered sufficiently by the previous ones. I will watch them again to see.
@@PanamaRelocationTours , thanks. I will have to find a spot with the best service. I am not the most tech-savvy person, so I would need to see how I could do with Zoom at 50-60 mbps. I am more fluent in Spanish than I am in mbps, 😂!
I'm thinking so hard about it. Is there a police crime issue. All the houses I've seen for sale have bars on the windows. The price of a home is the same as the US.
Thank you for sharing your experience in Panama! Why do the windows have bars if Volcán is safe? I’ve seen the same in nearly all the featured cities in Panama.
Most of Central American countries it’s normal to have bars on the windows because most people don’t carry mortgages on their homes and they don’t have full coverage insurance for the home because it’s mostly cement block construction that can’t burn. So people self insure their prized belongings and fortified their homes.
@@SilverTurtle65 interesting about the insurance. We have family & friends in South America where crime of all kinds is high. In the largest cities, affluent neighborhoods, and the small cities/towns hours from the larger cities. I keep hearing how safe it is in Panama outside side of petty theft. Thank you for clarifying!
Healthcare is extremely cheap in Panama. Where do you go to see your Doctors? The City of David? One thing I noted....and hate to be negative, but that refrigerator needs to definitely be upgraded to a stainless steel refrigerator. And your countertops are outdated, too. Time for granite countertops. The floor is beautiful tile. Volcan is so beautiful and windy/cool. Why are you RENTING???? Buy, buy, buy. Paying rent is like throwing money in the trash can. Is the Hotel Bambito still open...how about the Panamamonte Hotel with Charley Collins the world renowned Chef. I think I heard he just passed away?
stainless steel refrigerators are a pain to keep clean...totally unnecessary, as are granite countertops (which by the way are now outdated) and really...why do you care about how modern their home is?
@@glenntucker69 They chose to rent a home without a stainless steel fridge or granite countertops and for some reason that is not ok with you....none of your business.
I want my pots and pans, my toaster oven, my slow cooker and my computer. Other than some clothes, books, and videos I bet I can do it in less than a couple hundred pounds.

Beautiful Panama!! What an amazing country and people!!
This is the area we plan to land , so appreciated hearing about your experience there.

Beautiful place. Beautiful people. I'm hoping to get there one day.
You should!
Volcan has been on my radar for a year and every thing you shared with us keeps it on top. Thanks for your insights.

awesome. volcan has my vote.
A place to consider. Thanks for sharing👍🏻

Sounds very interesting. It looks beautiful
You'd be AMAZED at how beautiful it is! Come check it out soon!
Great video!

How good is your wifi? I am looking at Volcan but I need good wifi for work. Thanks!
Bill, it depends on WHERE to live in Volcan. Some areas have 50-60mpbs and some areas have only satellite with 3-5mpbs

Looking for suggestions for communities much smaller than Volcan. I prefer small & rural ......
Cerro Punta would be small and rural. Sante Fe would fit that description too
Looks great .
Hows the internet in Volcan? Can you work from home?
Wow I love it 😻
Opening a bank account never has a language barrier. Money talks!
In Panama that does not apply. Money does not talk when opening a bank account. And there can definitely be language parriers.
Great video but one thing you didn't talk about is your dogs, getting them there?

Did you folks adopt those darling dogs in Panama or bring them from the states?
some people adopt dogs in Panama and some people bring their dogs with them and some people do BOTH

BMW are very safe cars, but they have seat belts.
Poor analogy. Cars have seatbelts because it's a legal requirement.
I wondered about them, too. And the fence? Kinda disconcerting.

Temp difference Volcan and North David? yearly
David 90-95. Volcan 70-75.
Keep plugging away at learning Spanish. It’ll pay off for you everyday. 👍🏽
Most definitely!
