she probably didnt wear a bra, and the guy interpreted that as a dogwhistle.
btw, if she cashes that out and doesnt call him, the guy just tells his bank that it was fraud -> she has to pay the consequences.

I mean I’m a girl too. It’s not hard or special for a guy to know girls don’t want to be called ‘sweet nipple princess’ or whatever it was. I actually didn’t like how he thinks the most important thing to a woman is success. Like personality is quite important, then when people were calling him out, he said these people were calling him out for saying girls don’t like being harassed, when actually they were probably calling him out for being so adamant that success is the most important, when he’s dated, what? 10 girls max

I don't know too many men who have seriously dated more than 10 girls, yet they still understand many aspects of a woman's life because they observe and reason (like Asmongold). The degree of the things that make you attractive is diminished or enhanced by your other qualities that many you unattractive / attractive. In other words, just because you have one very strong attractive trait, doesn't mean it's enough to carry a set of abysmally terrible traits. Your positive and negative traits have to balance out in the end, so it's difficult to paint a broad picture of what works and what doesn't.
Sure, there are obvious traits that are attractive, like being successful, wealthy, good looking, in shape, but like Asmon said; if you're a really shitty person to be around and nobody likes you, then your positive traits mean significantly less. I think this is pretty important discourse. My husband and I have talked with our younger sisters extensively about being careful which boys/men they accept gifts from. (IE, if you're not romantically interested in a guy, do not accept random and/or expensive gifts). A lot of young girls accept gifts without understanding the strings attached. A lot of men seem to think that a woman accepting a gift from them gives them some sort of entitlement to them. Sometimes it's more sinister than that, and other times it's just that they aren't socially developed enough to understand. So glad I don't have to participate in the dating scene nowadays. There's a lot of nuance that neither men nor women are taught, and some never learn.

    • @Tommonius

Maybe it's not that people are clueless. Maybe accepting a gift but refusing to tug along in those so-called strings is a way of demonstrating to the gift giver that such a transaction is not okay. Maybe if the gift givers get disappointed enough they reevaluate their unreasonable expectations.

Both are common courtesy. The correct way of handling it is to just be open and honest from both sides, and if one side is not interested then no exchange of gifts should occur. If you're exposed to physical or emotional terror long enough, it shapes your subconscious. You end up viewing everything through that lens, always calculating and *expecting* the bad stuff. You live in fear - and you can't stop it. Cause it's at your core, all the way at the center. Some people are helped by therapy, but it doesn't work for every person. Not that deep. You end up neurotic/anxious/etc.
It doesn't really matter whether you're a guy or a girl during childhood, it'll happen to eithr gender equally. But if you *did* have better parents and got through childhood without being damaged like that, girls will still have to deal with being physically smaller and more easily threatened. Guys will have other problems, problems that often place anger and hurt at your center, instead of fear and hurt. At least, statistically. There'll always be extreme environments, like jail, that do it to guys too.

Still people ended up being paranoid because media keeps pushing narrative that we are living in country were if you go outside you are begging for being attacked by somebody which is not truth at all but it makes people to feel like they need to be more cautious, that maybe somebody will attack them and so on which again can happen but around here hardly and if ,it's gonna be some drunk idiot that you could kick into leg and he would fall on the ground.

I think it depends. Men are victims of more crime in some areas. Obviously the odds of it being a sexual related crime are incredibly low. But being assaulted or even killed over something as small as the shoes you wear happens so much. Plenty of criminals have a code of not fucking over a woman or a kid. But a man, all day. Run that mans pockets. He can handle it cause hes a man. Happens every day. I agree with a lot of your point here but most crime happens to them.
And i agree. Plenty of men are just straight up afraid to get involved with women period. I had a coworker nearly get me fired because she said i harassed her. Which never happened. Other workers. Literally all of our other female coworkers fought for me. She wasnt even reprimanded for it.

@Kunoichi4ever4 I completely get where you are coming from. And I don't disagree. I am only pointing out the point that just because men might be more equipped to handle a situation doesn't mean it cannot happen to them. There is also far more options and care for women who are victim of any crime compared to men. It is a unfair standard based on biology. It is the primary argument for the bathrooms logic with people who are transgender. When in reality, a criminal is a criminal. He isn't going to care if he should be doing something or not. And you should always protect yourself. Dave Chappelle had a really good skit on women. Talked about how he was paid in cash for an event and it was like 12,000 cash. He had it in his bag and said, if people knew I had this on me, they'd kill me for it. And that's when he knew how women feel being around certain kinds of men.
Trust me I get it entirely. I can't stand people like this and would shut it down immediately. But men gotta deal with this kinda shit too. And if they ain't ready they can be victims too. Keep yourself safe! I don't trust nobody myself as a man for the same reasons you said. I got into a fight I didn't want cause I bought a game coming home from work one night. Don't go to that side of town anymore. I was okay but man it was scary. So I can only imagine how ladies must feel dealing with that.
Asmon is right on the money with everything else though. Plenty of men don't know how to communicate and misread things. It's a serious issue.

Turning the advances down, leads to their ego being hurt, they either try harder and build more pressure, get way to close, get physical, stalk, or they give up and slander them. I'm not trying to say it's a useless skill to be able to read non-verbal communication, but the problem is that we are basically just guessing. Most of the time it's easy to read people's NVC and most people get it right most of the time. But that doesn't change the fact that it's still just us taking a guess and I think we've all tried some kind of NVC frying right over our heads.
I think it would be a better solution to just teach people how important it is to be as clear and direct as possible when are communicating with people outside of your inner circle.
If you are actually interested in communication and the problem that sometimes comes with it, I would recommend you read Tractatus by Wittgenstein. It's really hard to understand and but it's worth the effort.

One day she decides to grab me where she absolutely shouldn't at the end of the lesson. I leave and two days later get a test from her saying no need to come anymore. I was so terrified because what do you do? I can't go to her parents or the police and say I (the white foreigner of 36) was molested by a 15 Chinese girl. Who would they believe if she decided to reverse it in a panic? The only saving grace was I found out a few weeks back that the age of consent here is 15, as opposed to 16 that I thought it was before.

Men are significantly more likely to be the subject of a violent interaction, and it increases depending on where you live in the world, like here in some parts of Scotland, you'll see plenty men with the scars from having their face slashed, in 50 years i've never once seen a lassie with those scars.

As a guy these days you're damned if you do damned if you don't. Trying to read the situation and do what you think she wants can easily be turned on you and staying more passive and respectful letting them make the move so everything is clear just ends up being a turn off for them because they expect you to lead. You literally have to calculate the perfect balance for every girl without them giving you anything to go on. Is it any wonder some guys say fuck it and do crazy/hilarious shit like this lol?

Yeah, agree. This obviously isn't the way to go about it, but 70% of young men are single and women rate 80% of men as "below average." So if you're an average guy -- and most guys are average -- then you can either act normal and get completely ignored, or you can do something outrageous to stand out and take the 5% chance that the girl is into exactly the outrageous thing you did. So I get why people take the 5% chance. After all, men aren't mind readers.

    • @Kyronetta

@@Evelyn_Okay You wouldn't. But its not always a choice. Far more women behave that way than those who don't and even the ones who are more straight forward can still say one thing and mean something totally different. It's not new its just the way society always was, its just far more extreme and unreasonable now.

Guys tend to see themselves in a vacuum and are a bit unaware of the difference in threat level. They don't think of themselves as a bad guy and don't think about the impact that they have. The PVP server is very accurate. It's why we go to the bathroom in groups and wear headphones without any music. You get ganked if you seem approachable.

I remember I had a turning point in high school. I used to be proud of my lightweight, I thought I was petite and cute and then one day my dad picked me up and I realized from which the ease he lifted me, how easily I could be victimized by a stranger. From then on, my mind would send me a periodic nightmare to remind me that no matter how safe I felt, I was an easy target.
