GW2 is the one game I keep coming back to, I love it (and that doesn't mean I like every aspect of it, but it's a part of me and my life that gave me a lot of power and made me face a lot of my problems)

I'm a huge fan of the original song. Love it in every way. Even though this is a metal version, you can still feel how tender and emotional this song is. Absolutly love it

I remember hearing this first time in The Grove while viewing a vista, such a magical place. Then hearing it again when purifying Orr almost brought a tear to my eye. And then hearing it with the lyrics after the personal story was over. So beautiful.
I hope they bring this back someday maybe at the very end of Guild Wars 2.

My first thought was 'how does this only have 78 views..........oh this is brand new!
As a 7 year old GW2 player without interruptions and a super lover of this song (chills when it appears in the last missions), I have to say this is the best cover I've heard. Screams were in the perfect place, good orchestration, INCREDIBLE drumming and amazing atmosphere for an epic metal ballad. I'm in love with this.
Playing Guild Wars 2 during these tough months of lockdown made me forget why I was so upset about.

I remember hearing the original for the first time in the "credits"(for my very first gw2 toon ever) back before the first expansion, Heart of Thorns was released.... it brought tears to my eyes and every time I help new players through the end I always tell them to stay and listen to this song that plays for how beautiful it is and how well it went with all that you the player, as the Commander, went through facing the Elder Dragon Zhaitan...

Man I remember this song playing at the end of the original Story like it was yesterday. One of the best MMORPG's of all time, and definitely in the Top 3 regarding the music. Thank you for this cover, it brought me back in time.
I love video game songs, they always come with a context that makes them better (We all lift together, The best is yet to come, Devil Trigger, Fear not this night, Small two pieces, etc.)

Reminds me of a really dark time in my life when I lost someone very close to me this helped me through . Sure, it was a dog, but he saved my life and it just feels like he is still here hearing this song, even years later. A white and golden husky looked like a gold and white wolf with floppy ears . I lost him about eight years ago. Fond memories to say the least! Sounds sappy but he was amazing.
