I cannot believe how long I’ve been following this channel. I had that one posse shirt. UA-cam just stopped showing me your videos at some point. Still dig the videos can’t believe the backlog I have to go through now lol.
Remember the fighting combos in this game that could allow you to freeze cars and what not? I also remember all the secrets like hoolywood sign and eiffel tower
Did you ever play Twisted Metal: Head On? It's the absolute best TM game ever made, it's an official sequel to TM2 by the same people who made that one.
@@L33PL4Y yes. I bought a psp just for tm head on. And then bought it for ps2 when it came out. That’s my second favorite twisted metal right behind tm2. I like tm2 slightly more because of the high damage the weapons do, ramming has a nice crunch to it, and mostly because of nostalgic reasons. I wouldn’t knock tm head on though it’s online and fantastic
Up down left right right left down up holding the triggers for God mode then up up down down left left left right right firing napalm for homing napalm is burned into my memory from 25... Jesus, 25 years ago 😓
Guys thanks for being awesome. I was listening to a very old episode of Continue Cast and even 8 years later I still don't know if they ever came out with Steam Boxes or not.
...Metal Gear Solid...Crash Bandicoot...Final Fantasy VII...Silent Hill...Resident Evil...I could go on and on and on about reasons to have a PlayStation
TM: Black is also great, but I'd give 1 3/4's of my kidneys for a faithful remaster of this (I'm ok with new content, as long as the core and original content is preserved)
10:05 Josh: "How did you save that?" A better question is, "How is that not an epic maneuver?" I know they don't do that bit as often anymore, but that was definitely one of those instances where I heard the music in my head.
The first "Twisted Metal" game I ever had was "Twisted Metal Black" on the PS2. Been decades since I've played that game. I wouldn't mind seeing a Twisted Metal movie in the future, it'd be like Paul W.S. Anderson's "Death Race", but with more macho and oddball characters.
I played thenfirst two Twisted Metal ganes for infinity hours when I was a kid. My favorite game in the series was Head-On (PS2). It was a slightly enhanced piet of the PSP game, which was kind of a remake / reinvisioning of 2 (which is the real best one). Rogue Trip 2012 was made by some of the original Twisted Metal 1 and 2 team and was also very good (and had a Ska soundtrack for some reason).
well speaking of death race heres a little fun fact there`s a character in the movie who`s name marcus kane ( who`s the driver of roadkill ) but he only appear in the 2nd movie as the villain though
I grew up playing this game with my dad until I could beat him consistently and he didn't want to play anymore, lol. I still play it with my younger brother sometimes. Our battles are so fast paced that we see some lag and the battles can ultimately be decided by whether the Playstation would register our energy attacks (ice, force shield, rear attack,...). Something interesting we found by accident is that in Hong Kong if you race towards the water and high jump over the guardrail, you can ricochet your vehicle off the water by hitting the surface with the side of the vehicle and bounce back into the arena before it can pull you down.
I played TM 1 and 2 a lot as a kid. Got all the endings, knew all the special power inputs, and all the easter eggs. Spent an insane amount of time with those games. Last one I played was TM Black, which I thought was pretty good in its own right.
Random, but I had to rewind to hear you guys say the word tournament again. Reminded me I have a “Chicago” accent. We bastardized the “O” completely out of it.
24:33 Anything to cut back on those mouth animations, AMIRITE? Also; Do your movie in stop motion and have it be loopy like celebrity deathmatch. I'm down the road in Maryland if yall need a hand.
I played the hell out of the PSP Twisted Metal, but I never got to try any of the others. This one looks pretty cool too, I recognize a lot of the characters/vehicles.
You guys never used your special moves. That green bar on the right side is your special meter, and there are street fighter style inputs you can put in to do special moves like ice beams, jumps, and you can drop mines behind you and stuff.
You're now obligated to do Twisted Metal 3. It is underrated & blows 2 outta the water- no1 really cares after 3- especially me. I'm glove y'all slapping-w/quarters in the glove. So do 3! Thank you, boys, Management
As an Australian I find this offensive. A 'boomer' is a large male kangaroo and not an abbreviation of boomerang. (boomerang already being a shortened version of boomeranglechazzer)
I just rediscovered continue and couldn’t be happier to have a bunch of vids to binge But when did they stop being in person and started using animated

We just found out about the Twisted Metal TV show. Think anyone is working on a Vigilante 8 show yet?
I would never had known without this post.
Awesome
if only if they could
With 8 whole games you'd certainly have the source material.
They should make the other seven first
You guys did play Twisted Metal: Small Brawl like 7 years ago.
I cannot believe how long I’ve been following this channel. I had that one posse shirt. UA-cam just stopped showing me your videos at some point. Still dig the videos can’t believe the backlog I have to go through now lol.
Yeahhh UA-cam gonna UA-cam. Welcome back. We missed you.
Ah, man.
This is like, one of the best PS1 games of all time. I'll never forget up, down, left, right, right, left, down, up.
Remember the fighting combos in this game that could allow you to freeze cars and what not? I also remember all the secrets like hoolywood sign and eiffel tower
I'm always grateful for Earlytinue... heck Anytinue!
Twisted Metal: The Search for the Hidden Pool
I love how the scale in this game is just completely out of whack. Axel's gotta be at least 10 feet tall.
This was the game that made me buy a Playstation! The best part, though, was putting the disc in your cd player and just rocking out to the music 🤘🏻
"Slam is slammin me!"
"Twisters twistin me!" lol
Twisted Metal 2 and Rogue Trip Vacation 2012 were my childhood growing. Both great games
The most underrated UA-cam gaming channel and it isn’t even close
My favorite game of all time. They need a remake with update graphics, physics, online, and map creator. Game would sell like hot cakes

I'm pretty sure you could blow up the Statue of Liberty in this game. So many good easter eggs.
Guys thanks for being awesome. I was listening to a very old episode of Continue Cast and even 8 years later I still don't know if they ever came out with Steam Boxes or not.
Financial goals: Conference Blimp
This game was like, the reason to have a Playstation
Pretty much
...Metal Gear Solid...Crash Bandicoot...Final Fantasy VII...Silent Hill...Resident Evil...I could go on and on and on about reasons to have a PlayStation
@@L33PL4Y This one was the biggest one
@@Kryptnyt Not even close lol, just compare the sales of this game and the others. I love TM but it definitely wasn't the (only) system seller
@@L33PL4Y I didn't say it was the most sold, I said it was the best reason to have a playstation
Twisted Metal Black is where it's at kids.
You guys are under appreciated, 10k views should be 10m views.
who locked josh in the trunk of a car?
TM: Black is also great, but I'd give 1 3/4's of my kidneys for a faithful remaster of this (I'm ok with new content, as long as the core and original content is preserved)
1:59 props to sampling Goldfinger's quarantine cover of Superman
Every since they pointed out they cover their mouths to reduce editing I love every time they do it lol
11:06 "How did they not make a Twisted Metal movie...at some point?"
"They" must have watched this episode and gotten to work.
We’re gonna need a check.
10:05 Josh: "How did you save that?"
A better question is, "How is that not an epic maneuver?"
I know they don't do that bit as often anymore, but that was definitely one of those instances where I heard the music in my head.
Its super cool you guys are still around.
I fucking love this game. 🔥
Nick's birthday ended ? I thought it would last forever.
I never got tired of running over the painters in the Paris level. Ah memories
Ah yes, metal on a rainy day. The way things should be.
They made a battle royale game out of Mario and they can't do one for Twisted Metal 1 and 2.
I'd buy a PS5 for THAT alone.
omg that's fucking brilliant
@@L33PL4Y I figured it'd be common sense -- including every vehicle from the games and letting people run riot.
But what do I know?
Now this brings back memories
forgot how freaking fun this game is props for bringing the memories and the funny
All the level names sound like illegal Waterpark slides lmao
Not seeing Joshs Face make me like this WAY BETTER
What a match between Paul and Josh!

I played SO much of this game back in the day. Spectre was the shit.
Been waiting for this since Small Brawl a decade ago!
I used to play this for HOURS with my cousin.
Recordings from different dimensions! Love it ❤️
That one dislike is from Axel, who didn't appreciate being called out for not having a roof or sides on his vehicle!
well speaking of death race heres a little fun fact there`s a character in the movie who`s name marcus kane ( who`s the driver of roadkill ) but he only appear in the 2nd movie as the villain though
0:46 this dude having a flash back

Loved this game so much when I was younger!
Any day you play Twisted Metal is a good day.
Dayum most of your duels came down to the wire! I remember now why those games were popular with us kids back in the day, they're awesome!
16:09 something, something, Statue of Libertitties.
Every time I'm having a bad day my three buddies swoop in and save me thanks guys
4:50 dont mess with axel or you will get the guns...and roses

Josh and his signature took
I’m disappointed you guys didn’t use the song Slam! Dah dah dah 🎶 for Mr. Slam ):
I only played the third game and I remember that being awesome! It also had a killer soundtrack on the game disc you can play in your CD player.
Random, but I had to rewind to hear you guys say the word tournament again. Reminded me I have a “Chicago” accent. We bastardized the “O” completely out of it.
pleaseeee keep playing this. find all the secretssssss
Have they ever brought this series back? This was seriously one of the most fun games ever
Damn, I could watch y'all play Twisted Metal 2 all day!! Y'all are hilarious!!
They are making a twisted metal movie now
Up the quality to 1080p just so the side bars look crisp as fuck
24:33 Anything to cut back on those mouth animations, AMIRITE? Also; Do your movie in stop motion and have it be loopy like celebrity deathmatch. I'm down the road in Maryland if yall need a hand.
Axel should talk like Barbados Slim from Futurama.

This game is the reason I bought my PS1. So many good memories!
I played the _hell_ out of this on one of those playstation demo discs
pool on the roof must have a leak

This game always reminds me of WWE Crush Hour. Which needs to be added to your list!
Looks like entertainment is back on the menu boys!
I was deadly with Shadow
Y'all should totally play TM Black next
Spectre looks like Travis from No More Heroes
I still remember how to get to the pool...
You're now obligated to do Twisted Metal 3. It is underrated & blows 2 outta the water- no1 really cares after 3- especially me. I'm glove y'all slapping-w/quarters in the glove. So do 3!
Thank you, boys,

I never played this as a kid because I didn't know anyone with a Playstation but I played the shit out of Vigilante 8 at my friend's house.
1 of the best games ever made
If you are enjoying this game I would love it if one day you played Rogue Trip. I think you would like that even more.
Vigilante 8 was my jam. The theming and levels were just better
1:59 Was that a cover of "Superman" over that clip?
Crazy. I remember shooting the Statue of Liberty. Loved seeing the bikini pop up lol
that metal was twisted yo
As an Australian I find this offensive. A 'boomer' is a large male kangaroo and not an abbreviation of boomerang. (boomerang already being a shortened version of boomeranglechazzer)
Continue time!!
Love this show
Yes! This is the reason I bought a PS1! One if my all time favorites

TED TWISTED AND CHAD METAL
That looks so fun

I know I'm 8 months late but HOW DID YOU MAKE A KEN BURNS REFERENCE WITH NO GRANOLA DANIEL!!!???
MOOOOORE TWISTED METAL OMG
I like my metal nice and flat or in bar shapes... I just can’t handle metal that’s been twisted!
