Hey @Chad Quandt, hope you've been well! Haven't seen you in stuff for quite a while. Are you on any podcasts/YT channels/streams these days? Either way, best of luck to you!
@@Froakadoke Oh hey! Yeah, I do a podcast with Paul and Kevin Cole called Goosebuds. It's very Continue-adjacent. And I write for cartoons now! Trollhunters, Wizards, Unikitty, Star Trek Prodigy. Thanks for the kind words!
I loved this game as a kid. Although having watched the other micro machine game, this definitely could have benefited from a lap limit instead of needing to win by points.
I'm starting to collect games again, but I only want to buy games I'd actually like to play... Since Continue has a HUGE variety of games... hold my feet boys, I'm going down a Continue rabbit hole!
@@Kevinsyel It’s called Skydiving Extreme (PS1), and I’m wrong, it’s not Japanese. It’s in English. Looked like a very fun multiplayer game to me, with gameplay that is essentially quicktime battles (who can press the buttons quicker and more accurately) with some zany stuff going on in the background with the skydivers. Dunno why I thought of it and I don’t know if it’s even that cool, but here we are lol
Walking to the McDonald's at magfest gang. It's weird how it's less than a mile away but it feels so much longer. Prolly a mixture of being on your feet all day at the con and that the actual path to get there feels like they don't want you walking to it lol
damn that shit was crazy funny the shenanigans were so good from the racing to the commentary also that mouse and the motorcycle reference was great I loved hearing about that again after so long
This was one of the few games i remember playing on the n64 as a wee lad. Didn't have much say in what games we got since 1 it was my sisters console and 2 when i got the gamecube which was my first console that was mine i was about 7 or 8 so being 6 and younger i had no real idea other games existed
I'm trying to remember if I've ever rented this game when I was a kid, went to look at a gameplay video, I think I did. I was looking at the one of the Breakfast Levels, and I remember the syrup you'd get stuck in, and that's it. Damn I old, for a 33 year old. LOL
Agreed! I always felt like the Micro Machines games were a bit too fast for my liking, so I loved Mashed personally. It's also on PS2 if I remember correctly.
Which versions of Micro Machines *haven't* you guys played yet??? I think ZX Spectrum and/or Amstrad and Sega Game Gear had versions not yet seen on Continue.
man this is pretty much the same exact game on NES and SNES, also did they play the SNES version? I seem to remember them making fun of the characters in that one
Coming in hot on Turbo 5 before over-correcting and going down to Turbo 1, is about the most Continue? Show thing they could have done. Very "on brand."
Question: When covid is over, will the real life boys get back together on the sofa, or have you decided to just do it like this from now on? Doesn't really matter, just curious.
That's the idea. Imagine how much longer it would take to beat if the game helped you stay alive. The controls themselves seem fine, they were still able to hammer each other
is being in your 30s and declaring you don't care what teenagers think of you a rite of passage shouldn't that just be the default attitude do they think a majority of 30 somethings are actively seeking out approval from the kids at a nearby high school
Paul drastically asking "Why do I care?!" is worthy of an Emmy or an Oscar or a Webby.

This game beats you into submission to convince you you're having fun
If a game of Micro Machines doesn't end with you begging for death, then you're not playing it right.
Man, if Josh would have made a come-back and won the last round after having zero bonus points that would have been a real Shags 2 riches story!
One standing ovation for this comment, please.
I loved this game as a kid. Although having watched the other micro machine game, this definitely could have benefited from a lap limit instead of needing to win by points.
i refuse to believe that these machines are that micro. it is physically impossible.
Imagine trying to climb that sand castle on Turbo 5...
Definitely a game that could use a time limit so you don't end up going back and forth forever.
Paul won a game. Incredible. 😂
after watching Jontron's Birdemic 1000 times over the last almost decade, finally decided to come check this channel out, good shit
Welcome!
Wow that episode was top tier!
I'm here 22 seconds after upload and I guarantee this episode is great.
You're as fast as the Mirco Machine Guy.
Its continue it's always great
“Well, I’m president of the Howdy Doody Circus Army!”
Just contributing to the Pete Campbell quote-a-thon.
He’s such a lovable hatable character.
can we talk about how the car destruction sound is just the rocket launcher explosion from Doom?
I was just looking for this channel since I haven't watched in ages, and lo and behold! A new episode!!! 😁
I'm starting to collect games again, but I only want to buy games I'd actually like to play... Since Continue has a HUGE variety of games... hold my feet boys, I'm going down a Continue rabbit hole!
Start with the Japanese sky-diving game they played. I have no idea what it's called, but that's enough info to get you started.
@@robertmartin5781 pilot wings has skydiving, or are you talking about Incredible Crisis on the PS1?

I thought Nick was on fire in this one! That dune buggy joke got me. Love you guys!
Any continue episode with an epic maneuver is a certified classic
One of the best episodes ever! So funny. This was so entertaining. Thanks for the episodes! Eager to see what you'll play for Sci-Fi Month now.
I completely forgot that I requested this one, but it rocks

Not going to lie. It's been a WHILE since I've seen any of the episodes and this does not disappoint at all!
Ralph S Mouse is the mouse with the motorcycle. The books were written by Beverly Cleary who just died at age 104.
That game looked rough but you guys always seem to have a good time anyway. Great episode
The thumbnail made me laugh. The dude's head, the fact you can just see CONTIN...looks like a Russian bootleg Continue?.
damn that shit was crazy funny the shenanigans were so good from the racing to the commentary also that mouse and the motorcycle reference was great I loved hearing about that again after so long
This is one of my favourite new episodes
You guys are having so much fun it should be micbro machines... You know what I mean!!!!
Those tweets killed me
Come for the Micro Machines, stay for the insert DS9 references.
Walter reminds of a cartoon character. Looks like you guys had fun playing this game
Micro Machines were so small, they were even too tiny for MY hands!
They fit just right in Trump's hands.
Epic Maneuver ALWAYS gets an instant like
We went thru purgatory with you guys. Great episode
9:53 Missed opportunity for Dennis Nedry (jurassic park) or Piggy (lord of the flies) reference. We'll let this one slide, guys
I used to love those things! All kinds of them, just crazy what they could make small 🤪🤣😉

This game is the reason i own 1/3 of a N64. We bought a N64 just to play this game.
Well, that was epic.
The GBC version of this had sick Techno menu music
Got my own copy of the game slammed into my N64!
Hot dam it's new continue?show day. Best day sence and until next Wednesday
Hell yeah
In America, you ride turbo 5.
In Soviet Russia, turbo 5 rides you.
Micro maniacs was 5 months ago, how much footage do they have stockpiled 😂
Most shows film an entire season at a time :p
Awesome.
You guys should play Mashed: Drive to Survive on the original Xbox
Agreed! I always felt like the Micro Machines games were a bit too fast for my liking, so I loved Mashed personally. It's also on PS2 if I remember correctly.
What was the last part again?
This game is actually based on Micro Machines V3 for PS1.
i used to love micro machine games so much because the maps were like picnic tables and shit, but damn it does not hold up
Which versions of Micro Machines *haven't* you guys played yet??? I think ZX Spectrum and/or Amstrad and Sega Game Gear had versions not yet seen on Continue.
Came for an episode of Continue? and got Le Mans 2021 instead
Who was the second 'fake' edit, the woman with the trophy thing ?
Cate Blanchett in Thor Ragnorok
@@Tempirius Cool thanks.
They played micro maniacs on ps1 which is based on this game I think.
man this is pretty much the same exact game on NES and SNES, also did they play the SNES version? I seem to remember them making fun of the characters in that one
That was biker mice from Mars
no that wasn't it, maybe im thinking of something else but I swear they made of fun of the greaser guy and nerdy kid oh well
If you guys didn’t do turbo 1 it wouldn’t have been as bad 😂
Coming in hot on Turbo 5 before over-correcting and going down to Turbo 1, is about the most Continue? Show thing they could have done. Very "on brand."
NICE!!
idk about you but my machine macro as hell
Anyone else used to make real micro machines tracks out of random stuff..
Question: When covid is over, will the real life boys get back together on the sofa, or have you decided to just do it like this from now on? Doesn't really matter, just curious.
As soon as we’re vaccinated, we’ll get back together.
this game is fucking awesome
Comment so UA-cam sees engagement on this video.
McDs and Con Ts.
Holy God, those controls look horrendous. They don’t try to help you stay on the track even a little bit. 😂
That's the idea. Imagine how much longer it would take to beat if the game helped you stay alive. The controls themselves seem fine, they were still able to hammer each other
OrcDonald's is the worst.
Weeds legal in NY!
It's a faaaaaaaaaaaaaake

shouldn't that just be the default attitude
do they think a majority of 30 somethings are actively seeking out approval from the kids at a nearby high school
