During axis refinement in case of minus cylinder in trial frame are we rotating the cyl towards the minus cyl axis of jcc or minus cylinder meridian of jcc???
Since the prescription which we got after objective refraction is minus (-2DC ),we r rotating it in red line side(minus). If the prescription is plus, we should rotate it through the green line side(plus).Hope it's useful.
If cylinder power is less than or equal to 1 Dioptre, then we use +-0.25D JCC for axis and power refinement. If cylinder power is more than 1D , then we use 0.25 JCC for axis refinement and 0.50 D for power refinement.

When cylinder is increased from -2.00 to -2.50, we should add +0.25 sph to maintain same spherical equivalent which is -1.00

When you place the jcc in front of patient eye. That is your first position. And when flip the jcc, that is your second position.

What is the difference between UK and INDIAN jcc
In UK JCC Red indicate plus power and Green or White indicate minus power. But in Indian JCC Red indicate minus power and green indicate plus power
