Thanks ma'am to see you at online platform.i have been studied from you offline and i had best experience with clear concepts of ophthalmology.thank you ma'am for uploading such video 🙏
Thank you so much maam for the wonderful explanation..i feel so lucky that i came across this video..i have never understood the retinoscopy n power prescription concept..now, its all very clear..thank you
Mam, no 4 example you gave as +2.00/+1.00* 90. But, in cross retinoscopy you wrote +2.00 on vertical and +3.00 on horizontal axis ( after subtraction it will +1.00). As we know that Cyl power always acts perpendicular to Sph power. You choose +2.00 as Sph power. So, how the cyl axis also comes in 90°‽‽ ?
This video was very helpful for as thank you mam I have question if retinascopy reading is vertically+2.50 and horizontally-3.00 than what will prescription
the working distance induces a power of +1.5 so we are subtracting that from retinoscope finding but the cycloplegics are hypermetropic agents as you said in the video...which means they should induce a negative power...and so why arent we adding that power induced by cycloplegics
Hello Madam, One doubt mam,in the last example with plus 4D on vertical axis and plus 2D on horizontal axis if instead of homatropine if we had used atropine and working distance of 1 mt thn vertical axis will have plus 2D and horizontal axis will be zero.Thn how to give prescription. Please guide
Hello If the streak of the retinoscope is at 90° , retinoscope being moved horizontally then at what axis the neutralising power should written to find out prescription? Please make it more clear.
hi rabindra , the glow is diffusely red because of the reflected light rays from red choroid and RPE from retina . If it s not red , it indicates a pathology like high ref errors, toumous etc
@@drjainshivani mam i have seen this vdo u explain very nice and i understood very well before that i can't understand the retinoscopy and the power calculations of glass of astigmatism, thank you so much mam, and i am waiting ur next vdo mam

Unique...🙏🙏
Mam,how staddling technique we can perform..
Straddling technique..
How to find out axis while doing retinoscope.?
Can you please explain in easy way.
Thankyou very much ☺

Please make it more clear.
at 180 degree
You're very good
Good teaching medam, we want subjective refraction videos medam
Mam mujhe -1.5 ka chasma laga hai kya ye shi ho skta hai
You say cylinder in stead of shere at the end.. Is it wrong
pl describe the use of number line-- not the value is important and use sign of direction-
thankyou so much
Thankyou 😊
Ma'am plz make video for practical ophthalmology ....
Dear Ujjwal, we will surly convey your messege.
Wow mam you looking very nice
Simply perfect 👌
Why the glow of retinoscope is red why not in other color like green, yellow etc...
hi rabindra , the glow is diffusely red because of the reflected light rays from red choroid and RPE from retina . If it s not red , it indicates a pathology like high ref errors, toumous etc
Thank you mam
Retinoscopy is based on Focaults Principle
Thanks
