"Linker Marsch" is very good. Same goes for "Arbeiter von Wien", "Einheitsfrontlied" (Ernst Busch) and "Resolution der Kommunarden".

This is one of those songs that I could listen to hundreds of times and want to listen to it even more. Communist music stirs something deep from within the soul.
For me it is hope in a better future. Well taking in consideration climate change it's hope in *a* future
What it stirs is the feeling that there is an ideal world, better than this one at least, and maybe, just maybe, we will one day arrive at it.

Listening this song, I feel as if I'm soaring over the regiments of the Red Army, carried on nothing but a great red banner, flying high, symbol of their victory. I guess it's the alternating wavering, flight-like verse and the march-like, powerful chorus. Anyhow, I love this song.

I don't think Trugen im Sturm translates best as "stormily carried", it's more "carried in attack" or something like that
Also, "Red Soldiers" would be a more literal translation of Rotarmisten but "Red Army" works alright

Sturm means assault, or to storm a castle, so I guess "carried through the assault" or "through the storming"?
Ohh right, I was thinking of the English word storm, as in weather, but could also be used as a metaphor for something intense like a battle. But I just realized storm (weather) and storm (attack) aren't homonyms in German, I think that would be Gewitter or Unwetter instead of Sturm. But yeah, Trugen (carried) im (in) Sturm (assault), carried through the assault. That does make sense.
"storm" is also used in that context in English. to storm a place = to suddenly attack a place
