Fantastic video and beautiful pictures. I came today to Norfolk to photograph the seals, there are a great number of seal puppies, some just born, a heaven for wildlife photographers, just not a glimpse of the sun today
Amazing, amazing. First thought was what a beautiful world we live in. Your pleasant voice narrating makes your videos more enjoyable. Really look forward to more.
If you come to Norfolk in the winter I recommend Buckenham Marshes RSPB. There are huge numbers of water fowl overwintering then, with Peregrines and marsh harries predating too. Walk along the southern platform of the railway station and you are bound to see Chinese water deer. As a bonus you can visit Strumshaw Fen RSPB which is just next door.
We’ve visited Norfolk for our holiday ( from South Wales ) 4 times in the last 10 years, it’s a magical place for us. One time had a day trip to Horsey Windpump, and afterwards we walked to the beach only to find a small population of seals with pups. We spent an hour or so sat quietly as they went about their business, which included being quite nosey, watching us watching them. I shoot wildlife too, and luckily had my 400mm lens so I could stay away and get some beautiful images. It was a great afternoon. Any wildlife shooter needs to visit Norfolk, there’s so much to see and we need another holiday hopefully soon, thanks for reminding me………..😁
I experienced that many years ago by a complete fluke. I'm a birdwatcher and we were on a boat on the Norfolk Broads moored up one day and walked to the beach looking for birds and bumped into a seal colony. Sat there for ages having lunch and coffee whilst we took in all the views. Thanks for reminding me of that memory and good luck with the chanel.
Great Video, appericiate the efforts you are taking from early morning hours to bring us such cool videos. Thank you. Keep shooting more and sharing. Cheers ! 😊
Hi Alun, Norfolk is beautiful and there is so many places I would recommend. For the seals you’ll want to head to horsey gap between October and February, for birds try snettisham and titchwell marsh, they are close to each other and both really different.
What a beautiful video. Great shots of the animals, and I must say, especially for a relatively new channel, your audio and general editing is well done. Many seasoned photographers with channels have irritating editing but yours was very smooth and enjoyable to watch/hear. Good work!
think you just became my new favourite person! I put so much time towards trying to blend authentic and cinematic styles thank you for noticing. I have more videos coming soon Im just a bit of a perfectionist. Im aiming for two videos a month.
@@DrewWebbWild I'd say your eye/ear for perfection is paying off, then. Take your time, do the videos well, and you will succeed! I am fairly picky as well about points like video and audio editing. It matters. If I take in a lot of content in a day, which is usually the case, sloppy editing grates on my nerves, and I end up in a perpetual state of irritation. I think many others do as well. Good to see you care about these things. I look forward to watching and hearing your other work.
Great video, made me want to head over to the Norfolk Coast ! I'm fairly new to photography with a modest camera and lenses, these videos are helpful to see how more experienced photographers approach a day out. Regards MMMD
Hey Max! you can get pretty close to the seals in Norfolk so lenses don't need to be all singing and dancing. Maybe a 70-200 would work if you have one. you could also look at tele convertors if you have the budget. They can be a modest way to double your reach.
