    @TeamZero any particular reason Zero is running his holster at what seems to be a 4:00/430 position? seems like it takes longer to draw with the far reach back plus snagging the tang on your rear misc. pouch. love the vids, keep on training hard!

    • @lazycouch1
      @lazycouch1 8 років тому +1

      In an open area I would think that it's for reducing the viability of any would be aggressors and the barrel surely wouldn't be worse cover than air? How many things are actually bullet protecting in your average life?

    • @alexscott7943
      @alexscott7943 8 років тому +5

      Why wouldn't you? It's not only acceptable cover, but it's also a form of concealment. Or would you rather take a strait shot to the vest?

    • @blwngt1598
      @blwngt1598 8 років тому

      +Sgt Ultra It sure as hell does *IF* the soldier you're trying to be is of the fighter pilot variety! Both the USN & USAF have min & max height requirements/restrictions for the "fast movers". Or at least they did back in '99 & '00.

    • @TheSgtUltra
      @TheSgtUltra 8 років тому

      BLWN GT 1 Soldier is army though.
      Here in Norway height is pretty strict if you're trying to be a fighter pilot, you shouldn't be very tall.

    • @blwngt1598
      @blwngt1598 8 років тому

      +Sgt Ultra The word soldier is often a misnomer here in the States. It's often used as a title or description for anyone that is in the military regardless of which branch they are serving in. Kind of like calling all tissues Kleenex. But you're right so my bad. And it's not just being tall that will keep you from flying a fast mover. In my case I happened to be 1.5 inches short of the required height.

    • @pewymcpewerson1395
      @pewymcpewerson1395 7 років тому

      Marcello Comandulli stability yes. A bullet is singular, multiple bullets are rounds. But yes he's doing it for a stable platform. Better rounds downrange. 1st one to get shots on target wins. hence train, train train. muscle memory is your friend.

    Why is an instructor in full-kit and shooting on the line of his students?

    • @TheBlackB0X
      @TheBlackB0X 8 років тому

      +Nick A. Maybe because it's fun?

    • @blwngt1598
      @blwngt1598 8 років тому

      The majority of people learn much better by seeing than hearing, not to mention it helps keep him sharp due to it being extra practice for him. Besides, people tend to give more respect to an instructor that's willing to be in the ditches with you over someone that acts like it's beneath them because their skill level is better than those there to learn, which in turn helps you learn a little better. Ever seen a student pilot learning to fly with his instructor on the ground barking orders? And if someone doesn't think the instructors should do that then just go buy a DVD!

    • @Niko_410
      @Niko_410 8 років тому +1

      +BLWN GT 1 but none of those students were watching. It wasn't a demonstration, he doesn't even watch them to help correct anything. I mean for promo purposes I totally understand him jumping on the line and running some drills but this isn't instruction

    • @blwngt1598
      @blwngt1598 8 років тому

      +Nick A. This is not instruction? You must have a different definition of instruction then. The very beginning of the video shows him acting it out & explaining. What about while he's behind the guy running an MP5 while wearing a gas mask chasing the mover? Really the only part where it looks like he isn't instructing is when they are on the line doing a transition drill & he could very well be instructing between each drill then running the drill with them as well. Plus showing them running the drills makes for more action in the video than just him talking. But I could be wrong. When his lips are moving he isn't instructing but he's more likely to be lip syncing to a song on his mp3 player. Or even more likely to be lip syncing to ZZ Top while it plays on the voice over! Yep, the last 1 is a definite must!

    I watch some of your vids thought the years and although I have to say that you have excellent skills, at leas in vids I think that you as well as so many others instructors come up with tactics and procedures that they don’t necessarily work but they just look good for the show. I never understood why in hell would you teach anyone to fight in a a stack up position, why would you create a larger target for your enemy to hit, it doesn’t make any sense it doesn’t give you any tactical advantage, and I’m pretty sure you won’t do it in a real life scenario. But hey it looks navy sealish bad ass. Please don’t get people killed for the extra buck.
